I already have two ideas that I think will be very creative, one has the main gimmick of kalimari desert and is inspired by one of the main things people think of mushrooms, and the other is a retelling of a classic Track, but with a twist inspired by a smash stage

Think it should be specified that remakes are not allowed. The layout has to be original.

Is there a point in arguing with you? No, because you are too dumb to understand anything that's being said to you. However, I am bored so I'm going to do it anyway.

1. Just make a battle multicup, it wouldn't make sense for a random cup to be battle mode if you just want to race
2. Okay, good one. Not sure what you mean by 'off podium' though
3. The cup limit is 40 due to technical reasons so it's impossible to increase (if I'm understanding correctly). However, this is already way more than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which only has 24 cups in total. It is also very rare for a multicup to even reach 40 cups, unless it's a massive collaboration like ctgp
4. The character limit is 120, which I'm assuming is also due to technical reasons. Again, very rare occurrence for anyone to come across

Anyway there's currently only 3 tracks remaining for Gamecube: Luigi Circuit, Baby Park and Waluigi Stadium

Afaik nobody's currently working on Luigi Circuit and Waluigi Stadium, however Baby Park already has a lot of progress but someone is being a lazy ass so who knows when that actually gets finished.

Will it include SNES circuits?

Unlikely as Rhcks already made Super Mario Kart Deluxe, no point in having all the same maps get thrown in

I would personally like to see an updated version of it someday though as I think there's alot of untapped potential in that multicup

Mario Kart World is being worked on but will be a seperate multicup. It will likely have the same people though.

There's a stat glitch so this would not really affect reverse drift at all.

I think we need Lobbies for Online Mode. I want to play Online Modes like CTGP-PC Hide and Seek or other CM Online Matches but I have no way of knowing who's playing what.

Game already does this, there just aren't many people playing this game. As well as most online games on custom tracks being private links.

We should have a feature where we can just spectate CPUs on our custom tracks, if we don't wanna get involved in the race.

I don't think people realise that unlockable cups will just mean less people are going to play them. Also don't think there's anyone that only plays the last couple cups.
As for the other stats people only really play Daisy, but sure for casual players ig. High speed + high handling would be the new meta but wouldn't impact things that much besides time trials.

Yes we do need an explanation. Don't suggest something you don't know.

1. The Item WONDER FLOWER!!! It makes everything inverted color and gives each player a random effect. (For example, Mushroom Boost, Bullet Bill transformation, lightning shock, etc.) (I've seen this item in a roblox game I like to play. If you want to check it out, it's called "Roblox Go Kart Racing". It's just like Mario Kart, only WAY more chaotic.)

2. The ability to vote-kick players on online mode. (I know this is kind of harsh, but sometimes... It's got to be done.)

3. Elimination mode! The player in last gets eliminated, and once the player gets eliminated, the game is over for them. This could also work for VS mode! The winner is determined by not who has the most points, but who is the last one standing! (I know that's kind of obvious, but I just gotta clear up innocent minds.)

Good handling is what makes Rd possible
Good speed would break the game, and several wrs

Not really, MT boost speed is the same for every character regardless of their speed stat.

Pretty interesting. I'm down for different playstyles to be possible since just playing Daisy is getting boring. Problem will be balancing it.

I have a few ideas:

1. Add an option in CM to add music from a file (.mid, .wav or .mp3). This would be cool as I like to compose BGMs for my tracks and wish I could add them to MKPC tracks I make.
2. As previously mentioned, more items. Specifically Fire Flower and Super Horn.
3. Add more decors in QM, and add the yellow bumps in CM.
4. AI on CPUS to automatically avoid items in their path (if it's not possible or too OP, then forget it)
5. Antigravity sections with spin-boosting, like from MK8.

Let me know if any of these are actually possible!

2. The game already has more than enough items. Secret items would be nice yeah but they'll rarely get used. Super horn especially would be a huge no since that would just make frontrunning broken.
3. The point of QM is to be simple. As for CM you can just add a jump in the track art.
4. While I would like more difficult CPU players, this could possibly lead to them just hugging a wall or falling off.
5. Wouldn't reccomend this for how laggy online is, hence why kart bumps are usually disabled

I really don't get how forum kids think. If you know it's useless, why even suggest?

Make it so occasionally, four random custom tracks will be playable in Online if a session is going on in the base game. This would be a great way to share tracks with other people.

While I do think custom tracks should be in the default online mode, this would be a terrible way of implementing it.

So I have some suggestions that have been mentioned and one entirely new one that I don't think anybody has suggested yet:

-To see who you last raced online (maybe a section for battle mode)

(1st jotting is supposed to say 'host's character here', 2nd jotting is supposed to say 'name of player (3 ellipses at the end if there are more than 10 characters in the name) and 3rd jotting is supposed to say 'number of players currently in lobby'. Also underneath the refresh button it's supposed to say 'refresh button to see more lobbies'.)

The colour would change depending on how many people there are, from green 1/12 to red 12/12.

For an example, this course has 2 Starting Points. 4 Racers start on the left, the other 4 start on the Right. The only way to achieve this is having the Starting Line somewhere random, then a Teleporter would Teleport 4 Racers to one Starting Point, and the other 4 to somewhere Else.

That would only be relevant if you want to make a track like this, it's useless to make something only 1 in 10.000 tracks (and that's being generous)  will need.

More information about each player in online mode other than just their nickname:

It could also show their VR/BR amount and country flag in smaller text below their nickname.

You already see their amount at the end of every race. Maybe an unpopular opinion from me but country flags would be lame as it would be 70% French, 25% American and 5% everything else, but that's just how I see it ig.

I just thought of this, when recreating DS Peach Gardens, the Chain Chomps have a certain route they follow, however since we can't give the Chain Chomps a certain route, it's a little harder to do so, because they move in a small circle, but that's what I just think. And Let CPU's trick off of ramps in custom tracks.

You can already make a custom bus decor to recreate this, though the bus hitbox is not exactly ideal. Agree with CPUs being able to trick though, anything that makes them less boring to play against is an upvote from me.

I have another Suggestion. Could we change the Grid size from 6X6 to 8X8? 6X6 feels too cramped.

And no, I can't just use CM because I can't make 10X10 QM Styled Tracks in CM.



Also, could Coin Runners and Bob Omb Blast get added? I really wish there were more options in Battle Mode. (Also, in my opinion, I like Coin Runners better than Balloon Battle.)

The whole point of Quick Mode is that it is limiting. Also you can absolutely make bigger QM tracks in Complete Mode, you're just lazy.
More battle modes are unlikely as nobody plays battle mode.

Agree, this game doesn't really do much to encourage actually playing it *cough* forums *cough*
There are lounges on Discord, but there's the issue that many people here are younger than 13. CT Project has SQs which are similar to tournaments though it's rare for more than 8 people to show up.
Ultimately, barely anyone plays the game.

No. This game is already alot more narrow than other MK games so this would make them straight up unavoidable at times.

Bullet is supposed to be strong and I'd say it's pretty balanced. You can edit the item distribution if you want it to be less frequent.

I was creating a circuit in CM and realized that it's really annoying with my circuit style.

I made this topic the old way where I share this suggestion, and I really should add this (perhaps without the tolerance).

I would kill for this but also slightly concerned about it too. I worry that it'll make things pixel perfect, meaning walls won't be diagonal which means you could easily get stuck on any wall.

So when I was time trialling Wii Mushroom Gorge by Keqing, I had to make sure to charge up a mini turbo and release it at the edge, so I could take the beginning shortcut without using mushrooms. It was super annoying to do because every time you finish a lap, the time and stuff will flash on your screen. It was really hard to see what I was doing, so I wish you could toggle the flash or change the duration. This is really small because it's a whole bunch of yap

I also wish you could erase zones (and also whatever else you draw but can't erase); if you make a mistake you have to start over right now (if there is a way please let me know)

Lakitu isn't in the way at all I have no idea what you're talking about.

Also you can sort of edit zones by moving the nodes around. It's not perfect but 'erasing' wouldn't really work either.

I'd explain why this is a dumb suggestion but you clearly don't know how to read anyway so there's no point.

What if we could customize items for tracks, cups, and multicups. What I mean is like being able to change item appearance rates to your liking. Also being able to make custom items by combining items. For example, maybe you want to replace the triple bananas with 5 bananas like in MK64. All you'd do is set the triples appearance rate to 0, then make the custom 5 bananas thing. (also, just because, you could make a special item that gives you 10 shocks cause why not) It'd also be neat if you could do like the decors in complete mode, where you can change stuff like the sprites and maybe even the size. This way, you recreate items like the GIANT Banana, Bowser Shell, or GIGA Bob-omb from Mario Kart Tour.

I almost agreed but then you made your suggestion longer than 2 sentences. This is just convoluted and knowing the people here can't even figure out CM they wouldn't understand this either.

I disagree. People are allowed to voice their opinions and some things just are not good for the game. Removing forum ranks for example is almost unanimously agreed upon to be a good change.

For GP mode sure, but VS would just be annoying. Also not sure how this would work as many decors are set to not move at all until the race begin.

How custom trick animations would work:
In the character editor, you'd have an option to include a three (or five, Wargor's choice) frame image that would play when tricking. Not choosing a file would result in the default animation being used.

This can actually be bypassed by disabling JavaScript for this specific command, so Japanese characters can be used, inappropriate words, but you have to use Dev Chromium, which is generally not used even though Chrome is pretty much a Google clone.

This is already a thing if I'm not mistaken (not too sure though), also can easily get bypassed.

You could add staff ghosts! Every track could have a ghost created by someone on the MKPC team and a faster ghost unlocked after beating it. You could also let people optionally set their own custom staff ghosts on their custom tracks. There could even be unlockables for beating staff ghosts in the main game or on custom tracks!

You can already do this with challenges.

As much as I would LOVE this update it is rather unlikely for qm to get removed entirely. I definitely do think qm does more harm than good for this website though.

Just like... use it? Complete mode really isn't that complicated at all. (Besides overrides)

I have a request and it is to add another type of leaderboard and that this one be of the best times in time trials no reverse drift. This is so that people like me who play on cell phones have more opportunities to finish, for example, in the top 10 on a track.

I suggested this a few times before, but if there’s lap overrides, why not add music overrides? Like yeah it can apparently be simulated at the moment but it doesn’t have the smooth transitions like the games

make the vr gain/loss less ridiculous in a 1v1.

For example, yesterday i played a 1v1 with a 30k vr player, and i won 3 races in a row (+8,+8,+7 vr respectively), before losing ONE match and i lost 300vr for that alone. It should not be so unfair.

Idk how online calculates points, though I'm assuming it isn't meant for 1v1's.

Custom Item Roster for Multicups much like the Custom Character Roster. If someone is making a SNES Multicup and wants only SNES Items then they should be able to customize which items are available as well as the distribution.

What's even the point of quick mode if you want every feature from complete mode in it anyway?

1. Tweak the Bob-omb so when you're trailing it behind you, the explosion doesn't hurt you like in MKW. It's always annoying to get ready to use it, but then the person behind you hits it and screws up your entire Grand Prix.
2. Add more themes to Track Builder. Right now we're missing GBA Mario Circuit (it's listed but is actually Peach Circuit), Bowser Castles 2 & 4, and Banshee Boardwalk.
3. It be nice to get the N64 and GCN retro tracks from DS like Baby Park, Yoshi Circuit, Choco Mountain, Moo Moo Farm etc. I'd even be fine if they were just in quick building mode if it's too hard to make them tracks.
4. A bigger space to work with in Quick Builder, and cannon ramps like on Waluigi Pinball.
Sorry if this list is a bit long, but I could live without most of these (please give us Banshee Boardwalk in track builder)

1. It already does if you reverse drift, changing this to work without would probably require the explosion to appear way behind you which would be unfair to the people behind you.
2. Be happy with what you already have. Otherwise use complete mode. Also why do you want Banshee Boardwalk? There's already Ghost Valley and Boo Lake themes which look the exact same, not to mention Banshee Boardwalk not even being a base game track.

NGL In Races You Might Skip A Checkpoint So It Would Be Fitting To Use Them In Battle Mode.

Feather wouldn't be good in battle mode either as that would allow you to camp on walls.

More about the Bob-omb. If you're Mushrooming and one explodes on you, You get sent FLYING. My issue is that this can screw up certain tracks. For example, I was losing on GV3, so I was trying to cross the line as fast as I could. A There was a cluster of CPUs, and one of them whipped out a Bob-omb, which also hit me. It sent me flying to the right, off the track, but when lakitu picked me up, he put me down back in the middle of the track. Here's a map to the track so you can see what I mean: There are probably other tracks this could occur on like maybe the SNES and GBA Bowsers castles, but it happened on GV3. It'd be nice if the effects of the explosions were changed not to do this.

I think that's a bug where you bump against a cpu and get hit by a bomb at the same time. Hope it doesn't get fixed though as it's really funny.

Personally I think we should have different options for cc when starting a Grand Prix like MK8DX.
I don't mind not having 50 or 100, but I'd like to see 200cc and possibly even mirror 150 if that's possible.

I guess it'd also be more challenge if you wanted to 100% the Grand Prix's because then you'd have to get a gold trophy on every cup on every CC

Honestly don't know how to feel about this. Seems useless as everyone plays 150 anyway.

I wish there was reverse mode,and the game checks
(by making you play in reverse) if the track is completable in reverse if it is not possible then
maybe you can create a new route for reverse(e.g in airship fortress reverse when you are driving up that tower,there is no cannon to shoot you to the cannon in normal mode,so say you make from that tower's entrance you drop down to another airship(which is connected with the next part of the track that is possible in reverse).Like how MKW does with some of its tracks.

Just make a seperate track that plays in reverse.

Already explained why the super horn would be bad, and you can already dodge blue shells with a mushroom. I reccommend checking out this topic.
