My favourite Pokémon game is Pokémon Channel, on GameCube

I've been trying to find a copy of that one.

In the European version, there is a downloadable pokemon after beating the game.

When I’m playing I always watch the channel that make me win money x) (Qulbu Quizz, in French)

Also, I have this game because my father

hacked my Wii to put a free GameCube emulator.
I know that GameCube games can be used on a Wii

If you want to know the thing to hack, here are the names :

Homebrew Channel.
In this “Channel”, you can choose different hacking things.
Download “Nintendont” with your PC.

I hope it helped people who want to have GameCube games without paying hap
(This wasn’t really understandable, ask me in PM if you want a better explanation)

If I had to make a choice, I would definitely go for Ultra Sun as my favorite game. The biggest reason for my love for this game is the ability to play with my pets that I have collected. I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to try it out by getting a game card. I can also recall that X and Y had a similar attribute, and they were definitely enjoyable games during the time when the 3ds was still in the market.

I've got the homebrew channel and the "riiconnect24" mod, but I find it fun to find original copies of games and use them on original hardware.

I used to download roms for gamecube games like pikmin, and I think I downloaded pokemon channel.

might just rank em (mainline only)
never played all gen 5-7 games so they are excluded
also no LGPE

13: Crystal
Literally just a worse GS, idc about the new features and the pokemon availability is weird as hell, even more so than the other gen 2 games. I'll get into the reasons why I think GSC (and HGSS) are flawed games later though, but for now, this is the worst

12: Gold/Silver
Alright, now for the rundown of why these games aren't very good.
Firstly, and the most glaring issue: the level scaling 💀💀💀💀💀💀
Allow me to take you through the level caps with the basic level of Pokemon to what I remember you fight in between, you should get an idea of the weird ass shit I mean.

Gym 1: Lv9
Fought: Lv7
Gym 2: Lv16
Fought: Lv11
Gym 3: Lv20
Fought: Lv14
Gym 4: Lv25
Fought: Lv18
Gym 5: Lv30
Fought: Lv23
Gym 6: Lv35
(You actually fight nothing in between these gyms but just say Lv23)
Gym 7: Lv31
Fought: Lv20
Gym 8: Lv40
Fought: Lv28
E4: Lv47 (42 if Will's cap)
Fought: Lv34

So there are MANY problems going on here. To start, the difference between trainer/wild levels and boss trainer levels is HUGE. This ultimately means you'll be underleveled for all the game unless you do a LOT of grinding. Another issue is that the levels are so low. The fucking Champion clocks in at Lv50. LEVEL. 50. XY has a Champion 18 levels above. Sure, BW had it's final fight at only Lv54, but that's still much better. A result of how low the levels are is that it means some Pokemon are simply awful in a playthrough due to lacking something they could only get at a certain level - say an evolution or a move. And if we look past all this there still is a lot to talk about. Many of the Pokemon introduced in GSC:
A: can't be found till postgame, late, or easily
B: suck humongous ass in these games
And about the being found easily part, that would bring me to my next problem, and that is how tedious these games can get. I do love that a day/night cycle exists, but when some Pokemon are locked behind a time of day, that just sucks. And more stuff, but... Anyway, that's about the extent of all my problems with GSC/HGSS. This all is honestly why I made Bronze.

11: Red/Blue
These games are hilariously easy and I really think the devs tried their absolute best to make the game harder just by making it easy to be over-leveled. But as a result you just have access to more tools due to the level caps. The open-ended-ness of the late game is kind of cool. But really, these games aren't very refined, and sometimes they have errors where you cannot at all even understand how they got there. Like Ghost being ineffective on Psychic, or there being no damaging Dragon moves. But these games are fine. If you want a Gen 1 experience, play FR/LG. But at the same time, if you don't want the mechanics of Gen 3 in there it's fine, go play this.

10: Yellow
Goofy ass boss trainer pokemon but better R/B pretty much

9: HeartGold/SoulSilver
Well, I've summed this up already, and HGSS barely does anything to fix my problems even though the games are objectively better. Case in point.

8: Diamond/Pearl
These games are... flawed. Very flawed. But not to the extent of GSC. The main issue is just that the story and route of a playthrough is not at all as refined as in Platinum. Also is the pre-Platinum Sinnoh Pokedex. This suucks. 2 fully evolved fire types. 💀💀💀💀 And there's also how HM heavy these games are, but thankfully your options for a slave are pretty decent.

7: BrilliantDiamond/ShiningPearl
It's the same situation as HGSS where the game has improved, but not that much. We have a better Pokedex here though, and that's a plus.

6: Sword/Shield
I have not played these games in a while, but they're okay. Decently easy, but quite long. No other comment.

5: FireRed/LeafGreen
I mean this is literally just Red/Blue in the RSE engine
Sure there's postgame stuff but like
It's not too crazy

4: Ruby/Sapphire
Pretty damn good games. Gen 3 was pretty great in terms of it's dex, Pokemon availability, boss trainers, and level scaling. It's just that Emerald improved on all this a great amount.

3: Emerald
Just a combo of Ruby and Sapphire's storylines that makes the second best 2D Pokemon game on this list imo. Love it.

2: Platinum
Okay, so this game is pretty damn awesome. I love the art direction, I love the OST, and the difficulty balances out really well so to go the player a very nice challenge. It refines a LOT about DP too.

1: Scarlet/Violet
So remember that I mainly care about how a playthrough of the game plays when it comes to ranking this stuff before you start being a twitter user at me.

So I LOVE these games to beat them. I think they perfectly balance difficulty while giving the player lots of great options. You really have to think when you fight the bosses of this game. The end-game in S/V is probably the best of a Pokemon game. You fight so many tough battles and each one is incredibly fun and takes a little planning. Amazing to nuzlocke.
