Yes, you do.

Whenever you finish a cup, if you get first, second, or third, you get either a bronze cup, a silver cup, or a gold cup. Bronze cups give the least POINTS and gold cups give the most POINTS. Apparently, you unlock characters by earning enough points.

For some characters, you need to complete user-made cups or multi-cups.

My favorite item is the mushroom, but it's because I like taking shortcuts like the one on Cheep Cheep Beach by pulling mushrooms in first.

Char 1

Nommanic Folloreht (first name: Nommanic)
Cyan
(It's my OC's GP win sprite.)

Appearance as human: Short black hair, no particular hairstyle. He wears a blue jacket over a cyan shirt. He wears jeans.


Moves when battling:
As Shy Guy:
Spoiler [ShowHide]
Jab: Uses his spear to melee attack
Forward Tilt: Jabs his spear forward.
Upward Tilt: Jabs his spear forward, then upward.
Downward Tilt: Sticks his spear in the ground and uses it to lift his opponent.
Charging Smash: Puts his spear back, preparing to strike.
Forward Smash: Thrusts his spear forward. Deals little knockback but high damage.
Upward Smash: Thrusts his spear forward, then lifts his spear and his opponent into the air.
Downward Smash: Thrusts his spear into the ground and immediately raises it up, his opponent on it.
Neutral Aerial: Does a pose to attack an opponent.
Forward Aerial: Jabs his spear forward.
Up Aerial: Jabs his spear upward, like Link.
Back Aerial: Kicks back.
Downward Aerial: Thrusts his spear downward, like Link.
Neutral Special: Throws his spear, then grabs a new one. When done in the air, he switches to a human.
Up Special: Flies up with his spear.
Down Special: Turns his spear in a circle.
Side Special: Stabs an opponent, then throws said opponent with the spear and grabs a new one.
Neutral Throw: Totally normal throw.
Forward Throw: Stabs opponent with a spear and throws said opponent with his spear, then grabs a new one.
Up Throw: Stabs opponent with a spear and throws said opponent upward with the spear. The spear can deal damage to other battlers, including himself.
Back Throw: Stabs opponent with the spear, then swings the spear around until opponent flies off it.
Down Throw: Throws opponent down, then jabs with spear.
Dash Attack: Thrusts his spear and continues running.
Ledge Attack: Throws his spear up the ledge, then climbs up and grabs it again.
Floor Attack: Jumps up and swings spear in a circle.
FINAL SMASH: Many other Shy Guys in many coloured costumes come and throw spears everywhere, hitting everything and everyone with the spears. This does a lot of damage.

As Human:
Spoiler [ShowHide]
Jab: A simple punch.
Tilts: Simple punches or kicks.
Smash: A Machamp uses DynamicPunch on an opponent, in the direction of the smash unless the smash is downward. The opponent is stunned by this and high damage is dealt.
Down Smash: A Machamp punches downward, creating an Earthquake.
Aerials: A Togekiss Pecks in the direction of the aerial.
Neutral Aerial: An attack with a pose. What else?
Neutral Special: Changes to Shy Guy mode.
Up Special: Togekiss flies Nommanic high up. This attack can deal damage to opponents.
Down Special: A Bolt of Lighting strikes where Nommanic is standing. This doesn't hurt him.
Side Special: Throws a Pokeball Pokemon that can appear are: Hisuian Typhlosion, Alolan Raichu, Alolan Golem, Alolan Marowak, Alolan Exeggutor, Hisuian Electrode, Vaporeon, Shiny Gyarados, Alakazam, Starmie, Machamp, and Togekiss.
Neutral Throw: Totally normal throw
Up throw: Togekiss carries opponent up.
Down throw: Machamp punches opponent down, creating an Earthquake
Forward Throw: Opponent gets Flamethrowered, then thrown
Back throw: Alolan Golem rolls backwards, with the opponent.
Dash Attack: Nommanic tackles someone
Ledge Attack: Hisuian Electode is thrown up the ledge, then explodes. Nommanic climbs the ledge afterwards.
Floor Attack: Nommanic jumps up.
FINAL SMASH: Various Pokemon appear out of Pokeballs, and they spam various powerful moves like V-create, Explode, and Water Sprout. Nommanic slumps down, then takes a breath and gets up again.


Char 2

Opulent Crafty Mystic Folloreht (first name: Opulent)

Appearance: Black hair in a loose ponytail. She wears jeans, and has a dodgerblue shirt under a purple light jacket. She has a watch.

Now onto moves:

Jab: Punch, then kick
Forward Tilt: Kicks up, then swings her foot around.
Down Tilt: Does the splits.
Up Tilt: Uppercuts
Forward Smash: A fire appears behind the opponent, then she punches said opponent.
Down Smash: Does the splits, but stronger.
Up Smash: Kicks up with a backflip, landing on her feet.
Aerials: Normal Aerials
Neutral Special: Produces some fire around her.
Up Special: Levitates up.
Side Special: Throws some flames
Down Special: A Gastly, Haunter, or Gengar appears. If it's a Gastly, then Opulent gets to control the closest opponent for 5 seconds. Opulent is immune during this time. If Haunter, then it goes to the nearest opponent and licks it, stunning said opponent. If Gengar, then it uses Shadow Ball
Neutral Throw: Chokes the opponent, then throws.
Up Throw: Holds opponent by leg and throws up.
Down throw: Lifts opponent over her head, then swings the opponent down.
Forward Throw: Opponent is burned, then thrown.
Back Throw: Opponent is swung around, while on fire.
Dash Attack: Opulent tackles the opponent and turns to throw mode.
Ledge Attack: Fire appears above the ledge, then Opulent climbs up.
Floor Attack: Opulent jumps up, and a ring of fire appears around her.
FINAL SMASH: The entire arena sets on fire, then everyone gets stunned while they burn. Finally, each opponent gets Shadow Balled, dealing 80% extra damage and stunning everyone.


Nommanic:
Spoiler [ShowHide]
Smash Charge sound: Blade
Neutral Special: Throws spear, even when in the air.
Up Special: The distance is about Mario's Up Special, and this move has 7 hitboxes that deal damage and combo into itself, like Mario's. If Nommanic does not have his spear, it acts like Luigi's Up Special in terms of hitboxes. The recovery potential is still the same, and the sourspot deals more knockback.
Side Special: Like Meta Knight's Drill Rush, this combos into itself and can recover. However, it does not send Nommanic into free fall nor does it send the opponent flying.
Down Special: A counter that poisons the enemy. When Nommanic counters, he starts to cover the tip of his spear with poison. If he gets hit while he is doing this, the counter works as normal but the opponent isn't poisoned. After that, he strikes back at his opponent, poisoning them in the process. The poison makes the game have a chance to ignore the opponent's button presses for a frame. This chance increases each frame until it's 99.9% of all frames.
Up Taunt: Lifts his spear in the air in celebration. This also gives him another spear if his original one was used.
Down Taunt: Switches to Trainer Mode.
Side Taunt: Thinks.

Trainer Mode:
Down Smash: Same as before, but if the opponent is close enough, Machamp uses Fissure and the opponent is KOed.
Neutral Special: Chooses a Pokemon. (Kirby: :D:D:D)
Down Special: Chooses a move to use that is used by Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Charizard, Ivysaur, or Squirte in Smash Ultimate.
Side Special: Uses a Potion (Restores 20HP). It has a 10% chance to be a Super Potion (50HP), a 1% chance to be a Hyper Potion (200HP), or a 0.1% chance to be a Max Potion (All damage).


Opulent:
Spoiler [ShowHide]
All attacks: Around the main hitbox is a sourspot that deals fire damage.
Down Tilt: Luigi's Dtilt.
Forward Smash: Shiek's Forward Smash, with 2 hits.
Aerials: Like Lucas', but it's fire instead of whatever Lucas' attacks involve.
Neutral Special: Can be charged and angled. Attack is like Mario's Forward Smash in Ultimate, but stronger if charged, and can be angled in ANY direction.
Side Special: Green Missile, but it's called the Red Missile and is guaranteed to misfire, which is a good thing. This cannot go into walls, however.
Down Special: A counter, reflector, levitater, and attack, all in one.
Up Special: Launches herself up with a fireball. This deals knockback to opponents depending on how close they are to the blast. It can KO at 0%.
Back throw: Chokes the opponent, then throws.
FINAL SMASH: NOW Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar make a return. Everyone gets stunned, then gets damaged (about 50%) and then they get knockback. They get stunned afterwards.


Note: Forget about the Neutral throws.

Note: Think this is overpowered? Don't worry, everyone else is. Example: If GamerGuy uses "Stay Stationary" and it connects, then gets as close as possible to the opponent, and uses "Flare Blast," the move won't connect, and the opponent will stay in place until they get to 300%, when GamerGuy can take the stock.

Note: Change Nommanic's colour to #0080ff and Opulent's to #00c0ff

Esoteric Alpaca Folloreht.
Render: N/A

Spoiler [ShowHide]
Ability: If opponent is above 100%, they will get frozen when Esoteric attacks them and it connects.
Jab: Totally normal jab.
Tilts: Totally normal tilts.
Forward Smash: Like Mario's, but freezes opponents at 50% and is icy.
Other Smashes: Like Lucas', but freezes at 50% and is icy.
Neutral Special: Selects a spell and uses it. Spells include fire (Ember), electric (Thundershock), grass (Leech Seed), ice (Aurora Beam), water (Bubble Beam), rock (Rock slide), ground (Magnitude), steel (Iron Tail), poison (Toxic), dark (Bite), psychic (Psychic), Fighting (Aura Sphere), Dragon (Twister), Ghost (Shadow Ball), Flying (Aerial Ace), Bug (String Shot), and Fairy (Fairy Wind.)
Side Special: The Icy Missile. In the case of a misfire (1/8 chance), the opponent is frozen.
Down Special: A counter, reflector, leviater, and attack, all in one. But this one doesn't burn, instead, it freezes at 75%.
Up Special: Teleport, but it has a longer range than Mewtwo's. It also has a hitbox that works like "Stay Stationary" does.
Throws: Totally normal throws.
FINAL SMASH: Everyone gets frozen, and they take damage as they are frozen until they break free and take knockback.


Here, some tips to help you:

Nommanic Folloreht:
In his Shy Guy form, he deals tons of damage, but is hard for him to take a stock. So, he switches to trainer mode when he's ready. Watch out for his spearless Up Special and Side Special!

Opulent Crafty Mystic Folloreht:
Even when you think you've dodged an attack, the fire sourspot kicks in and hurts you! If you try to use a fire attack on her, it doesn't affect her. In fact, she heals from it!

Esoteric Alpaca Folloreht:
Her physical attacks are weak, so to take stocks, she uses her spells, which can be accessed with her neutral special.

@MikeBash RD stands for "reverse drift," which is a strategy used by pros like me to charge many miniturbos and go faster than others.

@CanadaFromPWA Can I do the expert staff ghosts? I think I'll be called "Expert All-Stars★OCM" and either use one of my OCs or the China Countryball.

He also had some run-ins with the Pro Karters, and he uses reverse drifting. He has a Pokegear. He is able to do the OOB cuts. In addition to his favorite Pokemon, he also has a Vaporeon, Shiny Gyarados, Alakazam, Togekiss, and Starmie. All of them are lvl 100 because he has been raising Pokemon for about 19 years. She can be age 4, 16, 21, or 28. I don't suggest 4 tho, she can't drive a kart nor use pyrokinesis. By age 21 and after, she has a level 100 Gastly that can possess people, a level 100 Haunter that haunts people, and a level 100 Gengar that is her main for general battling. Because of her ability to read minds, she can sense invisible people (or ghosts, if they exist) as will have been shown in S1E1 of TsMK. She has a little brother, called Nommanic Folloreht, who is 3 years younger than she is. Her full name is Opulent Crafty Mystic Folloreht. She is generally good friends with people from TSA, especially Diamond or Pearl. She's really good at MKDS snaking, and HATES the Pro Karters.
