Also, since you included a bit about "And the guy who just fell in love with you is called Veenyx." in episode 2, I should probably clarify some more:

Sabrina and Nommanic, uhh, are... kind of a couple, but not exactly.

Opulent and someone else not in this fanfic (not even MY character, it's someone else's, but he submitted it to MY fanfic) are... (from the context of my previous sentence, this should be obvious) a c-- (by the way, the other person's name is Phanto.)

Anyways, for all other characters (other than Blue) you can do whatever you want. It's your fanfic, after all.

This episode was... certainly interesting. For starters, I now know:

Kiara's response when she meets someone
Who I should make Veenyx have a crush on in my fanfic (TSA)
What Kiara's interaction with Sabrina should be in my fanfic
(Yes, I am probably just gonna steal some lines from this fanfic and put them into mine. )

Some things I should point out:

Nommanic and Esoteric aren't EXACTLY siblings, but for most purposes, they can be treated as such.
Sheldon does not like FIRE, it's FLOWERS, because flowers are herbs. And he likes herbs because they are used to make potions.
Blue is not named Blue because he likes Blue. Instead, just pretend it's an anime name. Blue does like the colour Blue, though.
Dark does not like darkness! This is another anime name...

In that case, can you make it so that they don't have any special item? I know it only says that age is optional. But, if you can't let them not have a special item then I guess you can give them whatever item fits them best:

Somewhat of a pedant. He reverse drifts, is the best Pokemon trainer in the group, is good at observing and deducing, (like Sherlock/Mycroft Holmes), and is a war veteran, I might point out.
Special item: TM, allows him to use a move from any Pokemon game. For example, Explosion, will create a large explosion that will spin out ALL karts within the blast range, Fusion Bolt can be used to lighting-strike someone OR be used to power up his Typhlosion's Fusion Flare. Waterfall acts similar to a mushroom but spins out anyone if they come in contact.

He has been held hostage at least (subject to future fanfics involving this character) two times. Because of his nonchalance, he is able to withstand roasts. When racing, he does NOT ever bag and uses the backspam strategy, where you throw bananas and fake items behind item boxes. He has amazing aim with the Mushroom. However, he is somewhat physically weak. He owns a PokeGear, and his favorite Pokemon is his Lvl 100 Hisuian Typhlosion. He is a more experienced trainer than his sister. His favorite stats are Special Attack and Handling. He can throw his spear well.

She is 28 years old. She is Nommanic's older sister, and is highly experienced at MKDS. She has been kidnapped at least three times. When racing, she does NOT bag. She uses the same backspam strategy as Nommanic. She is rather strong and can run fast. She owns a Poketch, and her favorite Pokemon are her Gastly, used for controlling people, Haunter, for haunting people, and Gengar, for general battling. Her favorite stats are Special Attack and Handling, the same as her brother's.

Once again people forget to use the color red when they go off-topic. Also, that is true. I can safely complete DS RR without falling, but most people can't.

A explanation: Mushrooms give you speed boosts and if you pull them, you can take shortcuts and you will probably in the race if you pulled a shroom in first. Bullet bill also increases your speed.

B explanation: They're pretty good, and can get you a lead. For the poison mushroom, if someone gets hit, they become small and lose their speed.

C: Explanation: They work, but are often useless. The person in front of you can just block it, and the blue shell doesn't do much, except change who gets first. The triple banana isn't THAT good, mainly because bananas aren't good.

D Explanation: Green shells are mostly useless because you are just as likely to snipe yourself as snipe someone else. The banana isn't that good, and the fib is only good if you throw it after a cannon. The blooper works, but doesn't do much.

F Explanation: The bomb only works if you snipe it, the green shell only works if you snipe it, the mega mushroom gets spun out by the bullets and stars, and I never used the dark shell, but targeting last doesn't seem like a good item.

I made sure to only put 4 in each row, so this isn't exactly an accurate representation of my opinion.

The problem is that not a lot of people actually play this game regularly. I'd say about 100 regular players log on on a given day, and not all of them are willing to play online. Most of the accounts are just people who play for a few days and then leave. Besides, how many people are usually in online lobbies? Not many.
