I think having items, item boxes, and decors move on mobile floors like karts do would be cool. Item boxes could also (in CM) have an option to follow a path like a Bus or CPU. I think these little things could make tracks like Wii Toad's Factory easier and more accurate to remake. I won't be too pissed if this doesn't get added, and it probably won't, but I just think it'd be a nice little touch.

Each profile page getting custom music. You can choose between base game music or YouTube links. If you don't want to hear the music on any profile page, the music can be toggled off in settings. If turned off, the music name won't be displayed.(It will obviously loop.)

I think it'd be more than a little touch. It could add a lot of competitive depth to the game in regards to aiming for boxes, putting execution at the forefront of certain tracks in a more deliberate and clear way. This is a great suggestion.

Maybe a cool addition is an editor for customizing the logo and the menu music for your own multicup (Works only with complete mode multicups): you can use the default logo or a custom logo made by yourself or took out from the internet. You can use the default menu music or a music took out from youtube.

I've been noticing you guys see one suggestion and then decide it's a good idea to post it again. Try not to suggest things that have been already requested as it's polluting this topic a lot. We really don't need to hear "custom items" with no further explanation for the 600th time.
Every character is the same speed with the stat glitch. Higher speed characters are only very slightly faster because they have a little extra speed before you start to chain drifts but with the caviat of being unable to turn around, making them useless for the majority of tracks.
Maybe the forums will be way less terrible then.
It would look really ugly, backgrounds are made to be horizontal, so turning it around is just gonna leave a black void everywhere.

Stars inconsistent is just gonna make things very frustrating to play as it'll be essentially up to rng if you can make a shortcut or not. Maps with a lot of off-road like 🧀 GBA Cheese Land are always going to be bag oriented unless you nerf last place so hard it's impossible to catch up in literally any race.
2. You can already sort of do this with overrides, though the music won't be a smoothless transition like in 8DX. Unfortunately as far as I'm aware this is impossible to program with how music is currently handled in MKPC.

In terms of gameplay, you get a minor speed boost when bumping against another person. With how laggy online can be with people outside of Europe, this would not be great.

We need a way to paste Characters into the game. Similar to how you can paste Tracks, Arenas, and Backgrounds. It will save lots of storage.

I think implementing gliders would be awesome. That'd be the next step to me, considering it'd be pretty hard to represent antigrav on a flat map. Maybe even add 3DS tracks to the Grand Prix to showcase them?

Did anyone mention that Battle Mode needs a rework? The CPUs only target you and nobody else. Plus You can't get other people's Balloons if you hit them with a Mushroom.

Alright I'd like to make a suggestion on improving the UI for this game as a whole.
Mario Kart PC is a very old game, it's been around since 2010, and it's 2026 now. So I have an idea that might make the game look awesome while still sticking to the original charm of Mario Kart PC
Introducing: Themes
Themes could be a small drop down menu in the settings of your profile, where you will initially have two main themes. Modern (For the people who would like a fresh coat of paint for the UI) and Legacy (For the people who want MKPC to have the same look as it does today. The player is able to switch between these themes at any time.
The general layout of the site will remain the same. However, certain visual features will be improved upon in this theoretical update. The "FINISH" text won't be some random orange text that appears, contrasting to the rest of the font. It will be like a more Super Mario Kart like Finish, like with the other UI on screen. Leaderboards when finishing a race won't be green rectangles and fonts will be somewhat consistent.
Not everything needs to be changed, but just a few things that feel inconsistent or out of place.
The Current Solution We Have And Why It's Not Great
Up to and including now, players have been able to change the look of Mario Kart PC through Chrome extensions that allows you to edit how your client views a webpage. This offers more customisability and is currently one of the only alternatives to change the look of Mario Kart PC, but it has some pretty significant flaws.
Firstly, it's completely inaccessible to mobile players, even if you are to somehow figure out a way on mobile, it's not going to be easy to change stuff. Secondly, this is a very manual process, you have to change a lot of things to make Mario Kart PC look just right for you.
Conclusion / TLDR
I think by having themes on Mario Kart PC, it could look like a more polished game whilst still maintaining the structure of the site. It's not the hardest feature to implement (and probably not of most priority), but I think it will make the game look much better.
