They're proundly retarded
Okay no as stupid their whole thing is it's not a reason to say they are "retarded" I swear people forget this world is a validist slur ffs (validism means discrimination against disabled people btw)
Did they change the word? Thought that was ableist
Oh okay no they're the same thing :v
On 2025-07-27 at 22:23:46
But, no lie, the other people creating 17 different clans is crazy might have to deadass shut the tourney down bc there might be a bunch of bums talkin' bout some "but we want in too" or sum.
I don't got a problem with ppl having fun, but I'm gone if ts gets blown out of proportion.

How Did You Find Mario Kart PC?
On 2025-07-27 at 02:32:57
I was trying to look for an emulator for Mk7 online that didn't move at a snail's pace, and typed in "Mk7 for PC online"
It popped up a multicup featuring multiple tracks that were playable from mk7, so I checked out the main game, and quickly found it to be a lot of fun.

Reverse drift advice
On 2025-07-27 at 01:19:24
How many reverse drifts do the top level players in Mario Kart PC make a second to achieve going faster than even high level racers? I'm currently the 440th ranked player in VS mode and I now use Daisy stats for my characters, and for me, it seems like I need to reverse drift 4-5 times a second just to maintain second place when I'm paired with players with 30K or more VR.
Well, I hate to break it to ya, but you're gonna need to Rd all the time in order to beat better players. If you don't Rd well, using Rd will actually make you slower than somebody who's driving like a CPU.
If it helps, there's rhythm to it. Work incrementally, don't hold reverse for too long, barely at all on straightaways, and get a feel for the super mini turbo's timing. Just grinding out the specific techniques, you'll learn it easily, and it'll basically become a part of your playstyle instinctively.
The straightways are my biggest problem with reverse drifting, I can't idenfity the fastest way to consistently build up my mini turbo on a straightway that keeps me going straight while also not sacrificing speed. It feels like I need to do it frame perfectly just to get a reverse drift on a straightway. If that's the case, then I'm gonna have to sacrifice FPS quality from 60 all the way to 15 just to get a chance to git gud.
15Fps is recommended, actually. That's what I do. Proudster also uses 15 at times, but only bc of his performance issues. Honestly, starting on 15 can give you a better idea of the timing on a really basic and crude level. If you play scratch mkpc, you can learn AAA mkpc.

DSAF OOB Cut
On 2025-07-25 at 22:08:02
What happened was that I was going to make another topic focused on the DSAF OOB, but I made the name not clear enough, and realized that ppl weren't gonna click even if they were interested in the OOB. From now on, I'll only make topic names clear and concise, I have to in order to get people to recognize the discovery. I wish you could change topic names.
you can change topic names, just edit your first message on the topic and yeah, there will be an extra option
Oh right on, thanks.

[DSAF] OOB Shortcut
On 2025-07-25 at 19:22:53
Not gonna play any games, I found a theoretical OOB that will destroy WR if done properly, it's just difficult. DS Airship Fortress has so many OOB areas, and these extra time saves save 2-2.5-3 seconds per lap.

Riverside Park OOB Cut
On 2025-07-24 at 18:15:20
Oh okay then no new cut lol XP
On 2025-07-24 at 02:25:06
Found a new OOB Cut in Riverside Park this time. I haven't mastered it, so I couldn't really get a run ahead of WR with it, but I'm pretty sure it's faster, even by just milliseconds.

This one's way more simple, and honestly I don't know why it hasn't been at least questioned.
All it takes is jumping off the end ramp onto the wall layer of the track, and driving close to the finish line while touching the checkpoint on the U-Turn (Hairpin Turn).

Tips for a Beginner

By the way, GoombafromMKW is an awesome guy, so please be nice to him!

Even if it seems sweaty, learning tracks goes a long way. Look at how the WR of each track takes lines, and learn Reverse Drift. If you take the time to better your skills in RD, learning the lines becomes second nature.
Note: RD is truly something that becomes stronger the longer you use it. It's very instinctual, and once you get "good" you won't even need to think about the inputs.
"New..." Thing? (I don't even know if this is applicable anywhere else it's just funny)

So I was trying to find another OOB (still am) and I stumbled upon a weird thing to do with the way the game's hitboxes work, which I previously have exhibited on custom tracks that weren't made very well, so come to my surprise that this works on mc2 as well.
How to clip through a wall sorta:
1. Find a thin wall with a ramp on the other side.
2. Build up a Super Mini-Turbo.
3. Release it into the wall and you (should) collide with the ramps hitbox and activate the ramp, making you fly over the wall.
Now, as I've stated I can only do this on one track (as of now):

Do you guys hold any obscure World Records?
On 2025-07-16 at 22:34:28
I happened to snag a WR on a shared track called "Ds Rainbow Road Kaizo" by utilizing an ultra shortcut found by JellyGroove. It made me wonder if anybody else has one or two world records on tracks that nobody plays/has played.
Stupid features in MKPC you want gone
On 2025-07-09 at 20:54:58
Offroad inconsistencies. Why does water void you in one map, and not in another? Why can I bump into invis walls while drifting, but not while, idk, running straight into them? Ts don't make no sense.
