How long does JavaScript take to learn and create? One of my subjects at school is based on programming and software, and I've got an upcoming assignment where we can choose to use anything to create something. I may do it if it is easy, but some feedback can be really helpful and I would be extremely grateful for the help.

Haven't played this game for a week, and I love it. I'm a former Roblox player and I haven't seen toxicity here anywhere CLOSE to that website. Combining basically a Mario Kart Maker (Nintendo please make this an official game) and basically a social media kind of thing? It's actually kinda genius. This is where all Mario Kart fans should be.

I'd say it depends on 2 things:
- how logic you are (programming is something quite abstract, for example if you like maths it's a good sign)
- and your level of motivation (you'll learn more efficiently if you're motivated)
Personally I took 2-3 weeks to read a tutorial about html/css + javascript (you'll need the 3 languages to build a functional website). But I was quite motivated and I had some intuition about the algorithmic stuff, so it might be longer for you. Also, reading a tutorial was just the beginning, after that the best way to learn is to just practise. Before mkpc I created smaller projects, like static websites and basic games (tic-tac-toe, tetris). MKPC was my first big project though, so once you get confortable with all the logic you definitively can start ambitious stuff!
In any case, if you decide to have a go, I would be really interested to know! And maybe I could help you on some things
