Ça n'a aucun sens d'utiliser la frame de derrière, qui donc tourne son dos au podium?

Je modifie toujours l'image du podium avec une version découpée de la frame avant quand j'ai trop la flemme de dessiner une image de podium.

I unlocked the SNES unlockable characters in 2016, and for the GBA/DS characters... Well, I know I unlocked them in the weeks following the update they were added in but I don't remember when GBA and DS tracks were added!

I know the number of characters went from 12 to 18 during the GBA update, then from 18 to 21 during the custom character update (I think), and then finally to 21 to 24 during the DS update... IDK I can't remember, too much years have passed by!

But yeah... I most likely unlocked everything well before all of you!

1. It could break the current metagame and force a reset of all TT records, so most likely never going to happen.
2. What new items? Could you give us some examples?
3. Already exists, unless you're talking about a mission mode for the default SNES/GBA/DS tracks which wouldn't be worth the hassle of coding in my opinion.
4. There's no need for that, custom recreations of N64/GCN tracks already exist since years.
5. Canons already exists so coding gliders wouldn't be worth the hassle.
6. Again, wouldn't be worth the hassle of coding, simply because custom characters can already be created.
7. What do you mean by that? The game already allows custom cup icons.

Hot take: Apart from the POW Block, these item suggestions are a great idea.

The feather could work like it does in MK8 battle mode. It shouldn't skew the item balance too much since it's not a powerful item and only available in battle mode.

The Boo also is a good idea, it just steals someone else's item and makes you transparent, so it would be easy to code and doesn't sound too OP to me either.

Not too much of a significant update but it would add a little bit more variety which would be nice.

Truth is that there are drama and spam topics from time to time but these problems don't represent the majority of the forum, you shouldn't let the bad topics prevent you from enjoying the positive parts of the forum!

And if the forum degenerates too much there's always the amazing game part of the website with the online mode, time trials, challenges and custom tracks!

Fun fact: The main UI never ever changed its appearance at my knowledge (I can confirm it had the exact same look in 2015 when I started publishing my first TT records).
Heck, even in Avoue72's screenshots from 2014, you can still see that exact same old UI!

I think it's the only part of the website that never ever got an UI update: The track editors' UI were changed a few years ago, the track creations search page is completely different that the OG one, even the forum received massive changes over the years...

The current UI looks ugly (it's just so simplistic with that boring black background and boring black rectangles with crude yellow text) but I eventually got used to it, I guess...

It would be amazing to have a new UI but probably not going to happen...

Some of my points might be controversial, but anyways...

1. The amount of boring topics without any interest. Honestly, the only reason I didn't completely leave the forum is for the fanfics and to make update suggestions

2. Dramas that are 100% preventable and unnecessary

3. Toxic people that refuse to take accountability for causing dramas and resort to gaslighting and victim blaming

4. People who create unoriginal stolen tracks or copy tracks from the official MK games (even if it's from a game like N64 or GCN that isn't present in the default MKPC, it's still annoying because tons of them have already been created, at least make a remake and don't just copy the map directly from the internet! )

5. Paint.net-style tracks (objectively the best of all) are WAY too rare, there's only a few people that make them like Fways or RHcks or Starl-, and most of them are inactive at creating tracks (I don't think we've had a Starl Kart 2 and MK5(O) looks discontinued, for example). I'm tired of unoriginal and low-effort complete tracks, please learn to use all of the complete mode's features, Wargor didn't work on all these updates for nothing!

6. The lack of active admins and moderators? I'm genuinely under the impression that Max-Bros is the only active moderator and don't know any reasonably active admins (Ryubix for example didn't log in since a while and barely uses the forum, how is he still admin?)

7. The extreme lack of online activity on the great custom tracks, people only keep playing the default ones since they're in the main game. Luckily there's a CT lounge Discord server now...
