I haven't played Origami King yet, but I don't have a switch yet but if you say its bad, I won't get it if I do get one.

It's not COMPLETELY bad, the plot is great, the characters are amazing, it's just...the battles are not fun. Like, at all. Especially the boss battles. Plus, anything that the game takes from Colour Splash, it does it worse. Mainly the Toad rescuing. In Origami King, the only point of saving Toads is for battles, which if you're avoiding anyways, would make the Toads useless.
You should still get the game, because it has its good moments, and you may like it, but I don't think the game is any better than Color Splash.

Honestly, I thought Origami King was a HUGE step in the right direction. The battle system is not as repetitive as Sticker Star's or Color Splash's and the battle music can really slap. The Toad finding is way better than Color Splash's. The worlds are really cool. The boss battles are the best since TTYD, mainly because I think it has more strategy than the past 2 games because those were just "Hop on and hammer 'em and use at least one Thing item until they die." The cafe was just a very nice addition. The disco scene has been one of my favorite moments in Mario game history and now I'm addicted to Thrills at Night. Honestly, the only parts I don't like about the game is Olivia can sometimes be annoying and the blue streamer up until Shogun Studios. I honestly think that this is the best Paper Mario game under the original 2.

Sure. You can feel that way. I'm fine with that.
But I personally didn't have fun with the game. I know this is a bold statement, but I legitimately had more fun playing Sticker Star than playing Origami King.
The boss battles are one thing in the game I hate with a burning passion. Because in almost every single other RPG EVER, boss battles are basically stronger normal enemies. You can use the skills you mastered in normal battles to take out the Bosses. But in Origami King? The Boss Battles are almost completely different. Plus, all the bosses in Origami King have a crapton of HP and do a crapton of damage. In addition, Blocking in Origami King SUCKS ASS compared to Color Splash. In CS, Blocking halves the damage you take, so if you block a 42 damage attack, you'll only take 21 damage. That makes learning how to block really rewarding, especially in late game. In OK? Complete Garbage. It barely helps to block. If you block a 42 damage attack, you'll probably take 38 damage. It's that useless.
Also, the sound it makes when rescuing a Toad is way less satisfying in OK than in CS.

This is basically a "least favorite" counter-part to Paratroopagamer's "favorite" Mario game topic.

For me, personally, I'd say my least favorite spin-offs are:

5. Mario Golf: Advance Tour
4. Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
3. Mario Party: Star Rush
2. Paper Mario: The Origami King
1. also Paper Mario: The Origami King

This is just my opinion. My reasoning for Origami King is that I honestly had less fun playing it than Sticker Star, especially with the boss fights.

Now, for Mainline Games, none are particularly bad, but I'd say:

5. Super Mario Land 2
4. New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe (Super Crown, enough said)
3. Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels
2. Super Mario Land
1. Super Mario Run (Because apparently,  according to the Internet, it's a Mainline game)

If I'm being honest, the only Mario game I legitimately hate is Paper Mario: The Origami King. I had less fun playing it than Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
And that's saying something.

S: Terry
Honestly, Terry's the only one I play often. He's pretty fun once you actually get to play him, helped by Sakurai loving this game. Heck, if Fatal Fury, where Terry is from, didn't exist, then SMASH wouldn't exist.

A: Steve, Banjo
Both nice, but I don't play them too much.

B: Sephiroth
Added FF Music, and his reveal was hella HYPE

C: Hero, Joker
Honestly, Hero is FAR too random for my liking.
Joker's cool, though.

D: Kazuya
Broken as all hell, but a good challenge.

F: Byleth, Pythra
Not too fun to fight, but I can at least understand why they got included.

G: Piranha Plant, Min Min
Fuck these guys. They're WAY too unfun to fight, and shouldn't have even been added to begin with. Min Min has invincible disjoints, a reflector, and can just stall far away, meanwhile Piranha Plant has Ptooie, and if you've ever actually fought someone who knows how stupidly good this is, you know what I'm talking about.
If not, Ptooie is quick, punishes you for attacking, falls on you making it hard to avoid, kills stupidly early, and even with all that, is also a projectile, and an edgeguarding tool.
U G H

please stop hating on Terry, guys

Have you beaten a Level 9 Kazuya CPU?

I ask this because, apparently, someone entered a Level 9 Kazuya CPU into a tournament and it destroyed people. I'm not trying to brag, but I, personally, have beat it SEVERAL times, using Captain Falcon, Doctor Mario, DK, and several more, including characters I'm not even close to maining.

If you can't even beat a single Level 9 CPU, I very much question this statement of yours.

I'm sorry, but this is...
wrong?

Mario and Dr. Mario have, hit-box wise, the exact same Final Smash, so there's no reason they should not be in the same tier.

Luigi's Final Smash is actually pretty good, and DEFNINITELY not F-tier. Same with Ganondorf.

Zelda's Final Smash is factually the best in the game. It does a ton of damage, drags you in, is VERY hard to escape getting caught, and obliterates you if you reach 100%, which is more than likely.

Peach's and Daisy's are f*cking hell to get hit by; you're pretty much DEAD if they use it.

Little Mac's is factually better than DK's. Little Mac's has a dash, giving it FAR more range, making it a useful recovery tool, AND getting you closer to the opponent any way, while doing literally the exact same damage as DK's. There should be absolutely no reason Little Mac's is lower, at all.

Villager and Isabelle's are...decent. Definitely not S tier.

Marth and Lucina's kill ridiculously early, so I'm not sure why they're in D.

Wario's is almost the exact same thing as Yoshi's, so I'm not sure why one's in D and the other's in S?

Pichu's actually does MORE damage than Pikachu's, evening them out a LOT more than you imply.

And lastly, Mii Brawler's is pretty much, in almost everyway, the exact same thing as Ike's.

Again, not ranked.

I'm excited to see how many people now hate me for putting Tomodachi Life in S.

I'm not mad at you for putting Tomodachi Life in S, because I actually like that stage too. Great song, fun layout, Miis...

I'm actually mad at you for putting Boxing Ring in D. That stage is fun as hell, and by FAR the best walk-off. The stage encourages you to fight in the ring, which not only makes sense, but also is a good battle ground. In addition, with hazards on, the Lights falling can be REALLY chaotic, but the good kind of chaotic. Going into the smaller details, the distinct Fighter Names in the background are really cute, and a great attention to detail, the Fog coming out after someone gets KO'd is neat, the Red and Blue walkways are also pretty neat, and lastly? It doesn't have a bad song.
There's only 5 songs, but still.

While I'm talking here, I might as well put in my tier list.

So, uh, I hate to break it to you, but I made a topic like this...
https://mkpc.malahieude.net/topic.php?topic=6521
I'll copy-paste my opinions here, including the actual explanations.

16. Star Rush
Very Few Minigames, and overall isn't all that fun.
15. Mario Party 9
The Car.
14. Mario Party: The Top 100
While it has good minigames, and I personally found the Minigame Island mode fun, it really doesn't have anything else special.
13. Mario Party 10
9 but better.
12. Mario Party Advance
While not good if you think of it as a Mario Party game, as a standalone game it's pretty fun with lots to do.
11. Mario Party: Island Tour
It has a good variety of boards, very fun minigames, a pretty cool Bowser's Tower mode, and Bowser Jr. as a playable character. While I may be a bit biased here since this was my first Mario Party, this one is legitimately pretty good.
10. Mario Party 5
This game is obviously pretty rushed, but still pretty good.
9. Mario Party (1)
The original; there's nothing really to say about this one.
8. Super Mario Party
This one has a lot of stuff. But I don't think it's that good. Minigame Marathon honestly isn't as fun as Minigame Island from Top 100, only has 4 boards, all the boards are Grid-based, and it has my least favorite Minigame in the entire series.
7. Mario Party 8
This one also seems very rushed, mainly because this one was supposed to be on the GameCube but was ported to the Wii in a rush, but I think this one is better than 5 and Super because of the Boards. I personally think these boards are more creative than 5's and Super's.
6. Mario Party 6
Nothing really to say about this one; this one is just pretty good.
5. Mario Party 4
While the idea of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, and DK all sharing the same birthday is very weird, the game overall is pretty good.
4. Mario Party 2
Mario Party 1.5 here is pretty solid. Good boards, good minigames, and having the characters dress up for every board is pretty cute.
3. Mario Party DS
By far the best portable Mario Party. Good Single-Player Mode, great boards, cool minigames, and goofy writing, this one has it all.
2. Mario Party 7
Great Boards, amazing Minigames, a good Character roster, multiple really good modes, AND a pretty good writing, this is definitely the best GameCube Mario Party.
1. Mario Party 3
A fun single player mode, really good boards, great writing, and great minigames. This is the best N64 Mario Party, and what I think to be the best Mario Party in general.

First of all, your topic had no actual useful info in it.

Second, a single insult isn't like getting evicted. Ignore it, don't try and threaten them because they said something truthfull.

Third, I don't even know who you are so I personally wouldn't care if you leave, not would Garfield, probably.

Lastly, giving MKPC a bad review? Garfield doesn't own the site, how would he be offended by you giving the site a bad rating? He made that topic to call out that the site was getting bad to begin with!

My opinions have majorly changed on this one. While it doesn't really have good boards, and a lot of the minigames are "push a button, a lot", Super Duel Mode and the minigames that ARE good both make up for it.
7. Mario Party 8
This one also seems very rushed, mainly because this one was supposed to be on the GameCube but was ported to the Wii in a rush, but I think this one is better than 5 and Super because of the Boards. I personally think these boards are more creative than 5's and Super's.

14. Virtual Boy
C'mon. Even Nintendo themselves acknowledge this thing was bad.

13. Phillips-CDI
The best thing we got out of this were the Memes, and that's good in my eyes.

12. OG Game Boy
Yes, this is a classic, but you can't deny this thing has some of the most broken games to ever exist. I'm lookin' at YOU, Pokemon Gen 1.

11. Game Boy Color
Better than OG Game Boy for obvious reasons.

10. GBA
Yes, this has good games, but its flagship Mario titles are all ports, and other things are better.

9. SNES
This one has great games, but others are better.

8. Nintendo 64
Yes, while this revolutionized the gaming industry, it also just feels a little...uncomfortable to use?

7. Nintendo Switch
New, but good. It has good games. It is good. g o o d

6. 3DS
It's close between this and regular DS, but I put DS higher because of sales stuff.

5. DS
A classic. Revolutionary (I think.) Has some of the coolest games of all time (kinda.) Etc.

4. GameCube
This one has all the "classics", despite not even selling well at first.

3. Wii U
While it didn't sell well, I don't see how this is at all bad. Yes, there were no games, but that's because people were stupid and just thought this was a Wii add-on, so nobody bought it. The games it does have are all pretty good. You got:
-Paper Mario: Color Splash (Which cured my depression)
-Yoshi's Woolly World (Do I even need to explain?)
-Super Mario Maker (Honestly, MM1 is better than 2.)
-Dr. Luigi
-Smash 4
-Nintendo Land
-Wind Waker HD
-Twilight Princess HD
-New Super Mario Bros. U
And that's about it, really. But it's still a good console.

2. Wii
This thing released the year I was born, making me definitely a Wii kid. I have so many fond memories with this thing.

1. NES
This thing is why we have games at all.

Sorry, sorry, getting a little too mad here. I can respect someone else's opinion if they have good evidence as to why they have that opinion. Saying it's "too hard" is not good evidence. That evidence in itself is an opinion, which is also being given no evidence to support it.

That's a funny joke, lad. Mind being serious with me here?

Just because something's DIFFICULT doesn't make it BAD. I agree that some of the secret levels are difficult, and I know it took me several tries to clear a lot of them. I'm not trying to hide that. However, saying that SERENA BEACH'S SECRET IS HARD is just...how are you that bad?
The secret levels are difficult because they take skill. I'm not going to finish this sentence because we both know this is going to be an insult.
And the Blooper Minigame being hard depends on which one you're talking about. The red coin one is stupid because of the end, with that jump that you have to do to grab the shine being really stupidly precise, but the timed race one? That's a piece of cake, even with the slowest one. The slowest one also happens to be the one with the best control/handling/turning, so that one should be the EASIEST to win with. If you're constantly choosing the Pink one because you think they all have the same stats, you desperately need to do a few hours of research on https://www.mariowiki.com/. It's gonna be far more of a help than a hindrance to know all you can about a game if you're not actually gonna finish it.

Look, your opinion is different than mine. Deal with it. I personally think Sunshine's controls are really responsive everywhere except the Boat. I don't think you're entirely wrong with your opinion though, and I can see why some people don't like Sunshine, I don't think it's necessary to call someone out just for saying they like a game you despise, especially when you HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED THE GAME. Ignore the fact that I do that with Origami KingOh, also, Sunshine isn't my favorite game with Mario in the title. I just meant it was my favorite Mario platformer. It's close between it, 64 DS, and New Wii, however.

And as for the Pachinko being the worst shine thing? Yeah, no. Pachinko is jank, but the death river is simply unfair.

I have multiple answers.

My personally least favorite is Paper Mario: The Origami King for reasons I don't wanna bother typing out here. Just know that it's FAR worse than how YOU describe Sunshine.

Gameplay-wise, Mario's Pinball Land for reasons Wargor explained.

Look-wise, I'd say the Atari ports.

Feel-wise, I'd honestly say Galaxy 1. The emptiness and loneliness just...doesn't sit right with me.

In terms of how over-rated I think a game is, I'd say the worst is Bowser's Inside Story. And I don't even WANT to explain why.

And actually, I lied, everything is actually Origami King

Just a few thoughts.

Toad Harbour: You like open-world tracks but didn't bother to play oh I don't know SHERBET LAND or YOSHI VALLEY

Interesting statement. I love Toad Harbor/Harbour, but I like N64 Yoshi Valley and GCN Sherbet Land even more. Granted, I only really play on GCN Sherbet Land a lot because my dad likes it, but still. This just seems like an assumption with no evidence to back it up.

Cloudtop Cruise: You like being unrealistic.

Why does this describe me so well?

GCN Yoshi Circuit: You love twists and turns.

I really don't, I'm not too big of a fan of plot twists.
Oh, wrong type of twist. My bad.
Surprisingly, I don't think it's that I like twists and turns, but rather I do really well on twists and turns, judging by some of my best tracks here on MKPC being Mario Circuit 4 and DS Mario Circuit.

N64 Yoshi Valley: You love the split paths.

Not really. I wish the paths were a little more equal in their length, allowing for more creativity and choice with paths, but the one path everyone seems to take really emphasizes skill. It's like the opposite of Baby Park, somehow.

Ice Ice Outpost: What on Earth is wrong with you?

Keyword, skill. The shortcuts are really difficult, and that's what makes them so fun for me. THEY ACTUALLY TAKE F*CKING SKILL. Even if the track has little to none to do with Ice, I still really like it due to...well, I've said multiple times now, but skill. It's the same reason I love Crash Team Racing so much. Little babies can't do a lot of the shortcuts in this game, and I think that makes it 100% better. It makes it so being really skilled at the game heavily rewards you and allows you to actually USE that skill to beat first time players, instead of them winning on their first race because they happen to get really good item luck and take every shortcut on accident.

DS Wario Stadium: You like stadiums and Wario and people liking you.

Ok, at this point it just seems like you were running out of ideas.

DS Tick Tock Clock: You like clocks.

Yeah, you were definitely just rushing this and not putting not much thought into it.
