The Retro Tracks I Would Like to See in Mario Kart 9

Kind of self-explanatory. I decided to make 5 cups so the games can be represented more fairly, and I will be excluding MK8 tracks. If Mario Kart 8 tracks (which are on the Switch) are put into Mario Kart 9 (which would also be on the Switch), it could butcher the sales of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, though I might edit the list with MK8 courses.

Well, you could just add MK8 tracks and label them with “Wii U” because MK8 originally came out on the Wii U (For example: Wii U Sweet Sweet Canyon, Wii U Mount Wario).

I only used 4 cups and represented all of them almost evenly, with the only imbalance being N64 only getting one (due to only one being left) and Wii getting 3.

Personally, I will put the tracks of all existing Mario Kart (except the MK Arcade) but not the tracks of MK8. The reason? Suppose MK9 will have to be released on the Nintendo Switch, The WiiU tracks will be repeated on the same console because there are... MK8D. So, lo and behold, I think it would not be that smart to put WiiU tracks when they are already in MK8D.




A little trick to add... To talk about Nitro Tracks, we would have to put "Sw" as we would put "SNES" for Super Mario Kart ...

These are quite close to my retro wishlist

And for the arena's, it would be SW, because those weren't on the Wii U

Maka Wuhu is very likely going to be the level before the Rainbow Road Remake, as recent Mario Karts have followed a trend of having the last level of the Star Cup from 2 games ago be the one before the retro rainbow road

MKWII has GCN DK Mountain
MK7 has DS Airship Fotress
MK8 has Wii Grumble Volcano

So I'm not alone on that theory?

And I know this has nothing to do with Mario Kart 8, but wouldn't it be cool if after they remade Wario Stadium, and then after that, make a port of Mario Kart 64? Then after that they can label the N64 tracks as something like 64-2 (Mario Kart 64 2.0). Maybe it's only cool to me, but what do you think of that idea?
