Should DDE (Daisy Drift Exploit) be patched?

Or, maybe there could be a ranking race. SO that you can only play with people who are of your same rank. So, because I am a Champion, I can only race other champions, and if you overcome that rank, you get transported to being able to play people of that higher rank. You know what I mean.

EDIT: And or, have Daisy be usable for 1 race and then have a cooldown for like 3 races so that people don't use her all the time. So that more different races can happen instead of the higher ranked people getting first and the 5000's chat.


Since the activity in online mode is very low, with only around 20 to 50 players playing per day, implementing a system which makes you play players from the same rank as you would just kill the online gamemode.


Oh yeah, I forgot all about the small activity on online. Sorry about that. But if the activity as higher with at least 250 - 300 players on everyday, then I could see my idea come through. But adding it now, would be catastrophic to online play.


Your idea was interesting, but unmakeable for MKPC standards, that's all. 8)

Your cooldown system won't do anything. I recommend just lowering Daisy's and Birdo's handling. Just a simple change.

When I was starting playing online, I was just destroyed 'cause everyone just used DDE. It's like MKWii, But is extremely skill-based. When 2 pros race, a pro wins that can drift through more part of the stage, it's not luck  dependant (MKT took luck-based online to extreme).
So should this exploit be patched to made MKPC more begginer friendly?        toad

Maybe MKWii's retro tracks are bad, but not as bad as the MKDS retro tracks' music.

Hi everyone, and I have a new thing to discuss.
How MKPC's Anti-Piracy (sorry, Anti-Copying) would look?
Like a few weeks ago, YT was flooded by fake anti-piracy videos, and the most well know is Mario Party DS. You can check it right there:
How it would look in MKPC?

My example:
-You start the game, select Mario and Mushroom Cup.
-Then, you play normally until you reach 2nd lap.
-A  Anti-Copying warning displays and page stops working.
-When that guy reloads the page, everything's working normally...
-Until he tries to try a race again.
-Instead racing on a chosen track, a battle stage appears with Bowser always on Star and Mega Mushroom. Creepy music plays. If he'd fall 3 times, baloon value changes to 3.
-When this guy will lose, game freezes (no crash sound) and Anti-Copying screen appears, but when he reloads the page, the screen is still being shown. The Anti-Copying value is permanently set to 1 and will be saved in the browser's cookies.
Until the hacker will realize, that he can just delete his cookies, a lot of time will pass.
That was my idea, but you can create yours.

I called the Anti-Piracy screen the Anti-Copying screen because some HTML programmers can copy the game's code into their websites.

I can agree with some things here. Yes the checkpoints are broken and 6x6 (no its not 5/5) is a little small, and the deco is a little limited.

You suggested either 10x10 or 15x15, but it is actually a lot bigger than you think. (10x10=100 and 15x15=225, so that will be what some ppl make and this doesnt include crossovers) I think an increase to 8x8 maximum seems logical and people won't flood the sites with extremely long courses for the sake of mentally torturing you.

Amother thing is that it it a pain to get things pixel perfect, but clearly you haven't tried precision in complete mode, but there is one thing in quick mode that is annoying and that is the blue box that appears when the mouse hovers over the tile and ruins the pixels for that piece. (Creators will know what im talking about)

There is a way to get around this tho. You can make the course, download the image and then go into complete mode and continue from there. This way you can fix the checkpoints and add additional deco without your course looking strange. This has been used by some creators before and if you want more help I am happy to.

I know about this, but when I add something to the track it turns into a part of that image.
Sometimes you need to place very much objects, then you realize you can copy it into complete mode.
By the way, editor should be beginner friendly.
Complicating creating process always doesn't lead to good things, tbh, but it doesn't mean you can't add any additional options.
People will just leave extremely long courses anyway.    ordi

I made 56 custom tracks(circuits). I don't like using MS paint, so I went with quick mode. And i got bored after 5 cups.You can see'em here. https://mkpc.malahieude.net/circuit.php?mid=2535                        toad
The size of the editor isn't big (5x5),
You can only place course specific items,
It's very hard or even pixelperfect to place things like dashpads,
And in this mode checkpoints are often broken on a course with big jumps,
And there's not a lot of course tiles.

So i recommend creators to:        up

Change custom tracks size to 10x10 or 15x15,
Add an option to manually place checkpoints,
Delete course decoration lock,
And more course tiles.

Controllers work only on specific browsers. If i'm not wrong, that was Microsoft Edge or Explorer.
