Why Mario kart 64 matters!!!!

I know a lot of people might hate me for this, but I feel like Mario kart 64 is a good game... I don't really hate it. If anything, I would put this in B or C tier if I made a Mario kart tier. So I can see why most people hate it, tracks are too long, CPU keep close to you, and drifting don't work very well. But even with all that, I still love Mario Kart 64 even up too this point. So I wanna tell you the good and bad of this game, I'm going to tell you why this game matters, and how.

It may not have aged well, but I'd rather call it a legacy game than a straight-up bad game.

I don't think it's fair to call it a bad game. Sure, it has it's issues, but it's not unplayable. I think that MKDS kinda sucks, but it's definitely not a bad game.
It's a bit personal, what counts as bad, & I'm happy for you if you manage to enjoy it!

Excuse me, but a game that sucks is exactly the same thing as a bad game.

A bad game for you. Not necessarily for someone else.
A bad game is one that is actually unplayable, bug ridden, has undisputably bad gameplay etc. Also a majority of negative reviews. A game like that is universally speaking, bad.
64 blows personally, but not everyone would say so.
Is it a weak game for me? Yes. Is it awful? No.

I never said the contrary lol. Stop coming at me like if I ever said my opinion was facts. Stop nitpicking. To some people, 64 is a masterpiece, to me its genuinely horrible. I don't need the game being universally liked to say it's bad, as long as I say this is only my opinion.

I don't see how. Something that "sucks" you hate, maybe even with a passing thought. Something that is "bad" has to actually be "bad, undisputable, unquestionably awful, which surely MKDS is not, even though I dislike it(I guess it's technically the controls & poo roster/retro tracks for me).

To make it short:
Something that sucks is personal & not necessarily considered an actual problem to most people.
Something that is bad can be agreed upon by large numbers of people to be awful. For instance,
Some of you guys think Waluigi Pinball is overrated. To you all, it kinda sucks.
Is it actually bad tho? No. Definitely not.
Sucks does not equal bad.
