With time, we have noticed many topics are being created users to announce a departure or a hiatus. We have hence decided to create one single topic where everyone announces their hiatuses, departures, but also comebacks. I have personnally seen this work well on another community I'm on. Before we get called trigerhappy again, this isn't to reduce messages, but rather because some users who don't care about who's leaving will have less topics to ignore.
