Simple to learn, hard to master. Once you're fairly confident with it try to win against difficult CPUs.

To use DDE, all you have to do is drift back & fourth with a high-end character like Daisy or Birdo.


I'm somewhat good at DDE, although the CPUs in GP mode are too difficult. This is why I always have it set to medium in VS mode when I'm practicing races so I don't have to deal with hard-as-hell AI drivers that always drop you from 1st to last place in the blink of an eye.

It's called "snaking" as you may have seen from Mario Kart DS. It's basically just drifting optimally and all world records use it in MKPC.

No its really easy, in 1 or 2 hours of practice I succeeded it easily (in my beginnings)

I use difficult CPUs, and difficult CPUs are still so much easier than GP CPUs lol

2 hours is long tho

yeah it's easy for you because do DDe is easy actually but compare me to all the players... = it's like compare HACK and NOOB tier

1. I don't understand why it's called DDE (Daisy Drift Exploit) when you can do it with other characters like Birdo, Toad, Toadette and basically any characters with good handling.

2. Fways is right. It's very easy to snake in this game, probably the easiest game to snake of all time. All you have to do is just drift left and then drift right, rinse and repeat. Don't believe me? Then try MKDS. It's simple to learn but hard to master there so there you have it. My statement about the snaking situation.

I agree with all of this.
I do not need to repeat myself: Just because Daisy is the only character you see snaking does not mean she's the only character that can snake, do not name the technique after her. MKDD doesn't rely on Barrel Train Drift Exploit, nor does MKDS with Egg 1 Drift Exploit. Get it right.
Second, yes this game is extremely easy compared to the other snaking games. No extra tech to learn, no manual MTs, anyone can pick it up.

If u have this mindset u will never progress, players who always say "omg I suck" Im sorry but I just want to say to them "shut up and just try to do your best and stop saying to yourself every time you are bad, you can do it" just believe in yourself is the best mindset you can have

Not for a really good gamer who playing a LOT
Fways and the HARDCORE players on the community often tryhard some challenges, some records, some speedruns... 2 hours is not long if it's a really good gamer. In the video game universe, 2 hours is never long actually, especially in tryhard.

I was a 23k vr player and 39Ahmad taught me how to DDE and it is a really good technique and crucial to learn for online play.

DDE is waayyyy too easy
Seriously, on some courses with wider roads it is the easiest way to almost get a WR.
