A week ago, I was looking over an old forum thread about the engine update, and someone suggested adding 3d tracks. I am wondering if that's even possible within a website like this. Maybe someone could code MKPC, then embed the game into the site. Just a thought, bur I could see some amazing custom tracks being made if there was a way to get 3d courses.

Yeh, I would really like 3D levels, not just flat ones. But I don't know if its possible, I mean, this is a fan game. But it might be possible.

As of now, 3d courses are not possible.

Wargor would have to create a whole new game to do that. :(

That is basically what he would have to do.
And also, I don't know if a website can handle 3d courses

I am in the server from the makers of Supertuxkart, maybe someone wants to help.

It really would be cool, but I doubt that hills and slopes are coming anytime soon, maybe not ever. Maybe people would import 3d models of the tracks or apply elevations to the existing tracks something. If only I was good at any sort of 3D editor.

If we could somehow port MarioKart 64 into this. Then that could make it work. But then, how would we make tracks?

And then create 3D Track pieces and then you can connect them together.

I play Mario Kart 64 on an emulator, and maybe MKPC could work in a similar fashion. playemulator.com

To be fair it would be unfair to expect one or two people to code a 3D racing game from scratch, and if it does happen it would take a long time. This game is flat but its been 10-11 years in the making, and still going.

Keep in mind that this has a course builder. There's no way to make a 3d custom track builder that's completely user-friendly.

MKPC has super mario kart design. we could have another MKPC with 3d design like MK64 or MKDS Design
