What is your least favourite Mario game?

Mine absolutely has to be the-game-that-must-not-be-named, Super Mario Sunshine.

First of all, the controls are horrible. Second of all, this game is even more ridiculously difficult than Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels! That fact alone would push me away from playing it, but getting a Shine Sprite doesn't even feel satisfying because you just know that you have something even MORE ridiculous right in front of your face!

Nintendo literally rushed this game out to save the GameCube, and it didn't work. So, with all this, it's actually an amazing thing that this game was never ported until Super Mario 3D All-Stars. But it didn't deserve a single port, which is why this is BY FAR not only the worst Mario game, not only the worst video game of all time, but the WORST THING THAT WAS EVER CREATED!!!!!! I HATE SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE!

WHAT? Mario Kart: Double Dash is awesome! Also, why does everyone think Sherbet Land sucks?

Super Mario Sunshine has neat concepts but the controls are terrible and some things are absolutely stupid. (eg hitting a wall on a blooper will kill you, king boo boss fight)

Also replying to the MKDD one, Sherbet land isn't special but its not terrible. Méribel is the best snow track tho I'd take Sherbet Land over half the other snow tracks in the series

But it's probably gonna be Paper Mario.

I got stuck multiple times, I don't enjoy turn-based combat a lot, I just didn't like it. I enjoyed it for the first bit of the game, but afterwards, it was boring.

I haven't played Paper Mario before, but I have played Paper Mario: The Origami King and I didn't like it at all. I don't know if it's like a completely different thing, but I can kinda relate to you, as I hate Paper Mario: The Origami King.

Tbh, I think the worst Mario game in my opinion (do not kill me plz) is super mario bros 3, I tried it. I'm pretty good, but that game is too hard. Also, I really don't see how it stands out from other games. Lastly, the boss fights are horrible and the levels are unintuitive. My opinion has been said.

I'd say Mario Pinball Land on GBA, a game where you control a ball-shaped Mario in pinball worlds.
One of the worst game I've ever played.
- Controls are terrible, you just can't master where the ball will go, it's total luck.
- Game content is lame, there are only 4 levels and the game can be finished in like 2 hours
- The save system is broken, if you load a previous save and then quit without saving, instead of restarting from the last save, you lose everything and have to restart the whole game!! Genius

It just looks like they didn't have budget to finish developing the game but released it anyway Come on, Nintendo, you're better than that!

(I promise I won't kill you) Super Mario Bros. 3 is the best 2D Mario game in my opinion!! How can you say that?

Mario's Time Machine probably

Yeah, I watched Nathaniel Bandy's video on the worst Mario games and he convinced me that Mario's Time Machine sucks.

I have multiple answers.

My personally least favorite is Paper Mario: The Origami King for reasons I don't wanna bother typing out here. Just know that it's FAR worse than how YOU describe Sunshine.

Gameplay-wise, Mario's Pinball Land for reasons Wargor explained.

Look-wise, I'd say the Atari ports.

Feel-wise, I'd honestly say Galaxy 1. The emptiness and loneliness just...doesn't sit right with me.

In terms of how over-rated I think a game is, I'd say the worst is Bowser's Inside Story. And I don't even WANT to explain why.

Agreed. But I think it's rather hard. The controls are very slippery and the CPUs are just masters on 100cc and onward.

I don't think it sucks. IF any stage sucks, it's Rainbow Road (used to be my favorite, but come to think of it, the N64 version is way better)
