Question about the per-lap overrides feature.
Say you wanna make a track that completely switches locations for lap 2 or something. Not just changing the route, but a new location entirely, like the Rainbow Cup tracks in Mario Kart Arcade GP. Is this possible, and if so, how? I'm working on a track that might use this feature, but I'm too lazy to experiment with it myself. (If it's not possible, I still think the first lap alone has enough to make it fun.)

The entire feature just works by changing the image, so if you upload the image of the next location you want to go to it will switch on the second lap
Finally tried doing that, and I started the override in the middle of the map. I tried to place a new starting position, but it won't let me since it's an override. Am I gonna have to use a teleporter or just ditch the second location entirely?
make sure that the second location's starting position is in the exact same place as the first location
Too late. Already drew the map, and moving and rotating it enough to line it up with the first map would leave a ton of empty space. Guess I'm just gonna scrap it. Like I said, I designed Lap 1 to be fun enough that issues with the override system wouldn't ruin the experience, so I guess y'all can expect a new track to release soon.

BACK FROM VACATION!!!
I logged on every now and then when the WiFi was actually decent, but for the most part, I either just napped, admired the nature around me, or had fun with my extended family that I only see in person a few times a year. Overall, it was boring, but fun. Don't ask me how that works.

That time of the year again. I'll be leaving for a week-long vacation tomorrow to a place with weak/no WiFi. I might still sign on every now and then if I can, but writing for Toad-al Drama Reload will be paused until I get back, unless RedPikmin95 decides to pick it up.

So are You Saying Christmas Songs aren't as Good as They Used to?
I like the songs themselves, but I just feel like everyone's capitalizing on covers instead of writing their own stuff. Turn on any Christmas radio station for 4-8 hours, and you'll know what I mean.

I love Christmas, but MY GOD, the music has no variety.
I work Tuesday and Thursday evenings at a grocery store, and they recently put on a Christmas station as expected. It was fine for 40 minutes, then every other song was another version of a song I had already heard. The worst offender? When I walked into the store on Tuesday, they were playing the most awful rendition of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. I was relieved when it was over, but then at 6:50 (pm) they played that exact same cover again. AND THEN THE JACKSON 5 VERSION 10 MINUTES LATER!
I remember being a kid and watching all those cheesy holiday specials of my favorite TV shows. I'm talking Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas, Heartswarming Eve, that Fresh Beat Band episode where everyone's turned into a toy. Were they corny because they were made for kids? Of course! But did they have original songs that were bangers? Definitely. You know you're doing bad when I'd rather watch these shows at 16 instead of listening to Sirius XM.

So I just finished watching the Mario Movie a minute or two ago at the time of writing, and oh boy, it was incredible... except for the parts that weren't.
Strong parts:
• There were a TON of references to the games.
• Jack Black is the only person who should ever be allowed to voice Bowser ever again.
• The Blue Shell guy was lore I never would've expected if I didn't read the plot months before watching.
• I really enjoyed Mario's character development, and Peach being a complete badass. That being said...
Weak points:
• Peach did way more than Mario did.
• Chris Pratt did a decent Mario impression while Seth Rogan didn't even try as Donkey Kong.
• The pacing felt kinda weird, I don't know how to describe it.
• The music choice was awful.
• While it had a lot of funny moments, most of it was just, "You were expecting this? Well not today!"
Overall, I'd give the movie a 4/5.

Oh gosh it's been almost a year since I last posted here. I don't know if it counts as a revive, but it's my topic about my game that's still being supported, so...
Anyway, Revision 2.30 is coming very soon.
Edit: It's out right now! You can now play reworked versions of the Donkey Kong tracks as Petey Piranha. I'm gonna try to revise all the DX originals, since they could use a lot of work. The next update will be the Pac-Man Cup. I would add Mametchi alongside it, but 24-character limit.
