I mean you could upload them yourself, just make a gmail account and create a YouTube channel. you could upload it unlisted if you wanted to as well.

Also, there are ways to re-map your keys on your keyboard into a controller, although I'm not sure how to do it. I'm sure if you did enough digging you could find it.

If the swears really bother you that much, there is an option to remove the online chat.

Or, if you still want to see messages, literally just ignore the swears. This website isn't exactly targeted towards kids, as osc-omb said. If you are getting mad over someone elses words that likely weren't getting addressed to you at all, then you need to be more mature.

However, if they are swearing **at you** in a clearly aggressive way, then I think that warrants a sanction for the person that was being offensive. You can report it to the mods or join the discord server and use the report function.

The only possible thing (for online chat) that should 100% be censored is slurs that are very offensive to people.

And if they are spamming then you can report it anyway.

However, for things like track names, I think that there should be a censor. Recently, there has been an uprise in multiple things:
a) Square quick mode tracks
b) Stolen tracks
c) Tracks with.. odd names to say the least

But in the online chat I think it's incredibly unfair for there to be a censor, especially when it's a reaction based thing, if you lose a race sometimes you get frustrated if you have that sort of mindset.

Staff is actually working on this already - we are deleting all of the generic square tracks that we see - so if you see any, feel free to report them to me via the direct message functionality in MKPC in the members area.

There have already been suggestions for a filter for quick mode tracks which could possibly be something that is coming in the near future, if Wargor adds it.

It is most likely on your end if you are on a connection that has either
a) a lot of people using it
b) just not a good connection

If you happen to be loading these tracks in school then I have experienced this issue as well before.

I deleted some and Ahmad probably also deleted them if they were square tracks or oval tracks. We've been doing this so that the track creation list does not get spammed with low-effort, basic tracks.

if you want fan made tracks, I would recommend going to the ctgp website to find all of the custom tracks that they have, as they have a large variety of custom tracks

saying that mkds is the worst Mario Kart ever is quite possibly the most incorrect thing possible. nearly every single flaw that you mentioned is in games like mksc and super Mario Kart, and those games have nowhere near the positives that the DS had (although they seem like fun games to TT, the gripes you mention seems like you would hate those games way more). you should also take into account that this was over 17 years ago now and for its time, it was amazing to play. and the battle mode and mission modes are literally some of the best offerings in Mario Kart history.

Role: I'd be fine with either moderator or event host, honestly. If you think that there are enough moderators then I could do event host, or vice versa.

I think that I would be qualified for being a moderator because currently there is no staff in the North American region, so I think it would be useful to have a staff that is online when all the other staff are sleeping or things like that (since they are mostly European). I can actually be serious without making as many jokes as well, if I'm in a role of responsibility.

I also enjoy tracking statistics and things not just of events in games and things, also in real life sports.

I know English but I kind of know a little bit of French, it is from many years ago now but I've kind of relearned a bit from seeing other French people in the community talk. I only know the basics of French, though.

Edit: I've also already been trusted with another role. That role being in question is challenge validator, and I've validated quite a few challenges and I would like to think that I am a pretty active validator most of the time.

lol what? there are clearly more that agree that the cpus are too easy and that there should be an option for impossible, but they haven't explicitly said it here in the forum. they have said it in the mkpc discord though

even when I wasn't a pro and didn't even know snaking I beat the computers with ease and can even beat the cpus with Petey.

maybe not the gp cpus but at least have an option in vs mode.
