censor swears out of online chat and usernames

I don't know. Man, I got on some Discord, and they are way much more violent that this website. Except some dramas and immature persons like me, there is a big NOTHING ! I mean, the problems, you can report them and wait. Also yes censore is kinda stupid considering that somr admins are swearing sometimes on Discord, everyone swear, I mean you can understand it at least. Swearing or bad words isn't bad. It's if you repeat them endlessly, but seriously. In the 2022 MKPC, there is not much swearing and surprisingly there was more before : princesslucky Era, landon Era, etc. Remember : everyone is swearing. And it would be stupid to have the censore. Why go through effort ? The only thing we should do is a censore for the two n words, the p word (considering the Ukraine War) and the two f words.

I agree, everything was worse in the past, I remember the swears. And because of the new "norm" of social media nowadays of saying very weird and inappropriate words, it is right to censor the words you have listed.

If the swears really bother you that much, there is an option to remove the online chat.
Or, if you still want to see messages, literally just ignore the swears. This website isn't exactly targeted towards kids, as osc-omb said. If you are getting mad over someone elses words that likely weren't getting addressed to you at all, then you need to be more mature.
However, if they are swearing **at you** in a clearly aggressive way, then I think that warrants a sanction for the person that was being offensive. You can report it to the mods or join the discord server and use the report function.
The only possible thing (for online chat) that should 100% be censored is slurs that are very offensive to people.
And if they are spamming then you can report it anyway.
However, for things like track names, I think that there should be a censor. Recently, there has been an uprise in multiple things:
a) Square quick mode tracks
b) Stolen tracks
c) Tracks with.. odd names to say the least
But in the online chat I think it's incredibly unfair for there to be a censor, especially when it's a reaction based thing, if you lose a race sometimes you get frustrated if you have that sort of mindset.

I know I am reviving old topics, but I am here to reconsider thi.
Today, I played online with some kids, and they were SOOOO immature. I know you can close teh chat but that was still annoying to see them talking about dirty things etc. some people told me that I was too young for Internet and they were very dirty at the end so I think we need something. We don't need censor for swears, but censor to those type of discussions. That was a mess and I received things like "kys" and stuff... By the way, some people got banned cause I reported them. Max-Bros can argue with this. I'm not sending screenshots here 'cause it's bad, but...
