How to add custom sounds in a Wii game?
On 2026-06-30 at 14:38:37
If you want to make it as a Riivolution patch:
Get all the .mp3 files of the songs you want to replace over the original game's music, and then rename them to the exact same filename as those songs in the game's files. Put these files in a folder with a name of your choice. Then also make a 'riivolution' folder. Make a new .txt file and put this text in it, replacing where it says:
Then, rename it to 'Insert whatever filename here.xml'. Put that file in the riivolution folder.
The final file structure should look like this:
Then, if you're on console, simply drag everything onto the root of your SD Card and then start up Riivolution, making sure Angry Birds Trilogy is in the disc drive. Then, enable the pack and it should work. If on Dolphin, right click on the Angry Birds Trilogy game and then start with Riivolution patches. Then select the .xml file, click 'Enable' then start the game.
Thanks a lot, on top of that it was exactly the same thing in the folder where I installed Newer Super Mario Bros WiiGet all the .mp3 files of the songs you want to replace over the original game's music, and then rename them to the exact same filename as those songs in the game's files. Put these files in a folder with a name of your choice. Then also make a 'riivolution' folder. Make a new .txt file and put this text in it, replacing where it says:
<wiidisc version="1" shiftfiles="true">
<id game="SAW" />
<options>

<option name="Pack">
<choice name="Enabled">

</choice>
</option>
</section>

</patch>
</wiidisc>
Then, rename it to 'Insert whatever filename here.xml'. Put that file in the riivolution folder.
The final file structure should look like this:
Root

->all the .mp3s
->riivolution (folder)
->Insert whatever filename here.xml
->Insert the name of the folder the .mp3s are in here (folder)

It was a bit of personal knowledge from modding a Wii myself,
and a bit of Googling to be completely honest with you lol

What are you character and Kart combos in Mario Kart World?
On 2026-06-27 at 14:44:52
I played the game once on my friend,s switch 2 but when I was playing I used lakitu on the baby blooper
Almost the same as the August 2025 meta which was the baby blooper, but the characters they used were Toadette/Nabbit since they have the same stats.
bro lakitu has the same stats as toadette and nabbit too
No, lakitu shares stats with koopa and cheep cheep
mkworldbuilder.com has all the stats
NO. Toad, Toadette, Nabbit, Koopa, Lakitu, Cheep Cheep, Shy Guy, and Stingby all have the same stats.
Nope. I dont know what else you want me to say, go to mkworldbuilder.com, they have all the stats and shows who shares stats. Toadette and Nabbit share stats, but not with anyone else you said
Edit: i see your confusion. All those characters have a blue circle around them, meaning they’re lightweights, but that doesnt mean they have the sane stats. When selecting a character, it shows you who has the same stats.
Toadette + Nabbit
Lakitu + Koopa + Cheep Cheep
Shy Guy + Toad + Stingby
To prove I am right, do all those characters on the standard kart. They all have the same stats on standard kart. Also do it on the actual game and not the mkworldbuilder.com. You'll see what I mean.
Hidden stats exist?
there are hidden stats that don't show in-game, idk what else to say besides you're wrong
Yea they arent the sane, they look the same on the select screen but arent in reality
Example: Wario, Cow, and Pianta all look like they have the same speed stats, but...
Wario is slightly faster on normal roads, Pianta is slightly faster in water, and Cow is slightly faster on dirt roads.

What your favorite track says about you (subjective)
On 2026-05-08 at 21:18:46
If you remember, I made a topic a while ago titled something like "What your favorite item says about you", and now I'm back to make What your favorite TRACK says about you (and this is subjective not trying to offend anyone)
and yes I said I would take a short break but I didn't mention that I would completely leave to make tracks, I'll go on here from time to time
SNES:
MC1: you've just started playing or you like to annoy people
DP1: you like donut plains but don't like when they're thin and have too many cuts
KB1: you like short tracks with water for some reason
CI1: you like bagging
VL1: you pick it to annoy people cus a lot of people cant drive this without running into offroad (or is that just me :/)
GV1: you like rainbow road but want less risk
MC2: you like bagging but not a lot
BC1: you're chill, nothing to say here
DP2: you love bagging
BC2: you just like the shortcuts
CI2: you REALLY love bagging
MC3: does this person even exist?
KB2: I can confidently say you don't exist
VL2: you either a certain guy who loves 200cc or you like to watch people fall over and over again
GV2: who likes this track?
DP3: there are 3 people who like this
GV3: you know its hard but don't care
MC4: you wish this got brought back
BC3: you wanna find the exact places to trick
RR: you just like to show off
GBA:
Peach Circuit: sure ig
Shy Guy Beach: you really REALLY love bagging
Riverside Park: bagger
Bowser Castle I: you just like it cus you can get all the tricks without falling
Mario Circuit: you do it backwards ig
Boo Lake: you somehow get the jumps perfectly
Cheese Land: you either bag it cus MK8DX or you dont
Bowser Castle II: you're cool ig nothing to say here
Luigi Circuit: you wanna have people play this long peice of shi-
Sky Garden: you are super chill
Cheep-Cheep Island: you either like the aesthetic or you are crazy and go for the cuts
Sunset Wilds: you wish it stayed true to the name
Snow Land: uh... uh... uhhhhhh...
Ribbon Road: S P E E D
Yoshi Desert: you bag every track in f*cking existe-
Bowser Castle III: you either like that its blue or you like doing the Wii cut
Lakeside Park: you get it confused with Riverside and think you like riverside but its lakeside
Broken Pier: you think youre crazy by doing the cut but its not that hard
Bowser Castle IV: why. just why.
Rainbow Road: you wish you could J U M P
DS:
Figure 8 Circuit: you either are just learning snaking or RDing or you are like me and bag for some reason
Yoshi Falls: you like short tracks
Cheep Cheep Beach: good. just good. this track is chill asf and you're the same
Luigi's Mansion: you like the Luigi's mansion series
Desert Hills: you are one of few people who like the track and I respect that
Delfino Square: you either like Mario sunshine or you're a Mario sunshine nerd
Waluigi Pinball: youre just here for the music
Shroom Ridge: this person does not exist
DK Pass: you like the NS2 version
Tick-Tock Clock: you think the song is a banger and I agree
Mario Circuit: you think this as f8c if it was good but the f8c fans disagree HARD
Airship Fortress: valid opinion moving on
Wario Stadium: you associate the song with this more for some reason
Peach Gardens: seriously like its good but its no ones favorite
Bowser's Castle: you like insane tech
Rainbow Road: do. not. start. with. me.
so yea uh tell me what your favorite track is and if I got it right tell me and if not sure this is subjective anyway

I'm hoping that there will be an option for Diagonal tiles, alternative tile sets that allow for more style.
how moving items
It was a feature added in a new update, you can now add item routes and then put items on said routes in the track editor.

Tried to make the most boring possible roster, it's ONLY the red circle

That's like taking everyone out of MKWii except Funky Kong 💀

Add Waluigi and MasterChef.
Master Chef? What, does Gordon Ramsay just show up and start calling the other fighters a fucking donut or an idiot sandwich and start complaining about the state of the kitchen? /j

Quote from Gemini AI in spoiler
It said I am a high score time trialist, a forum member, and a custom content creator claiming that I have shared characters when I haven't, probably because Gemini isn't made for mkpc.

In Mario Kart PC (a popular, browser-based online fan game created by Wargor), "Kinsley_" is not an official, built-in Nintendo character. Instead, they are an individual user/player within the community.
Because Mario Kart PC is heavily driven by user-generated content, a prominent username like "Kinsley_" usually points to one of a few roles in the community:
A Custom Content Creator: MKPC features a "Complete Mode" track builder and character editor. "Kinsley_" is likely a member who has created and shared custom 16-bit retro tracks, custom character sprites, or specific challenge maps that you ran across while browsing the game's database.
A High-Score Time Trialist: Many players become well-known within the MKPC ecosystem simply by dominating the online multiplayer leaderboards or setting top records in the Time Trials section.
A Forum Member: The site hosts its own active community forum where creators and players discuss custom GPs (Grand Prix) and share assets.
If you encountered this name attached to a specific custom character or a custom track cup while playing, you can actually look up their profile directly on the official website (mariokartpc.malahieude.net) by using the member search tool to see exactly what creations or records they are known for!"

I am going to have too say MKPC (if you can count that) bc you can:
-Make charecters
-Make tracks
-Meet new friends
-Make challenges to you own track
And more. You cannot tell me you can do that in MKW or MK8DX

You know, Mario Kart Retro Rewind is supposed to be a game where you can play all the retro tracks in the series with multiple features and content, using the MKWii engine. And I think it's the best Mario Kart Wii mod ever.
Fun Fact: When you use a Mushroom on a ramp and trick off, you gain much more air time than when not using a Mushroom.

There's also a ton of cool custom characters, you can play online, there's some fun custom gamemodes, you can add in your own stuff with Patches, there are custom voicelines for some custom characters, custom item settings, tons of settings for friend rooms online...
