Agreed, unfortunately people treat tragedies like the September 11 attacks as a joke because they're ignorant to what should be very obvious boundaries between schadenfreude and being flat-out disrespectful. It's like making jokes about the Holocaust or the Troubles, it might be "funny" to the person making the joke but it's so fucking insensitive to the actual victims

I'm surprised anyone thought that this'd last any longer than a few minutes, honestly. Children's social media content evolves over time and like it or not the social media content you grew up with was also brainrot, so there's no real point in bashing the newer slop that appears on social media. Of course it won't last, kids' content was always made to be a passing fad. Think of the Christmas presents you got as a toddler, do you use those things now? Chances are you don't, and it's the same with trends and humour. People don't find the same thing funny after they've seen it for long enough. These things can and do change whether you like it or not.

My name is actually a little deeper than some may initially think, yes there's the whole "girl who likes coffee" thing but there are hidden meanings:
- I chose "Latte" to reference my favourite band Lesbian Bed Death - the lead singer has the handle "I ain't no iced tea" - in my mind coffee is the natural counterpart to tea, and forms alliteration with "Lass" (Hiberno and Scottish slang for a young woman)
- Coffee (i.e. latte) contains caffeine, and being addicted to caffeine causes tiredness, which is basically a personality trait for me xD
- I was originally considering "LatteLesbian" which would be a reference to LBD and... something else (you know what it is), which would be too much of a mouthful so I just put pink and orange in my name colours (also Daisy is my favourite Mario character so there's that)
