Ok so I want to write a fanfic but like anyone cares so I’m just gonna do something similar to MysteryMan’s but it’s a bit difefrent

Episode 1
Blue Toad: Yo! Welcome to this reality show. So uh, our intended cast might have maybe been kidnapped against their will and been forced to find some weird-ass medals, so, I got a different one. Here they are.
Mario: Let’s go! I’m here to win, but to also have a good time doing so.
Luigi: Hey! It’s me, Luigi. I hope I can make some new friends doing this game show.
Peach: Hi! I’m here to enjoy all of the competitions.
Daisy: Hi I’m Daisy! I just love competing, and I’m here to win it! I really like sports as well.
Yoshi: Hey! I’m Yoshi, and I love my melons. I’m here to compete with my friends and to make some new ones.
Wario: I’m Wario, and I want to eat. Oh, and I guess win the competition, maybe.
Waluigi: Wah! I’m Waluigi! I’m here to make sure the plumbers lose! Wha hah!
Bowser: SHUT UP! Anyways I’m Bowser, and I’m gonna win this. No one will stop me.
Mario: Stop picking fights you won’t win, Bowser.
Cat Toad: Heh, lol.
Blue Toad: Well, I was gonna introduce him later, but here is my Co-host, Cat Toad!
Cat Toad: Who are you calling a co-host?
Blue Toad: Hehe. Well, here come the last eight contestants.
Rosalina: Hello, I am Rosalina, ruler of the cosmos. I wish that we can have a good time competing.
Toadette: Hiya! It’s me, Toadette! I really want to win, but if I don’t, that’s okay, as long as I have fun!
Toad: I’m Toad and I’m super awesome!!
Nabbit: I’m Nabbit. Don’t mess with me, because I’m here to get the victory.
Petey Pirahna: Rawr. I’m Petey Pirahna. I am a combination of all different kinds of pirahna plants. I have extremely sharp teeth, fire breath, poison spit, big size and more. I am also extremely aggressive so be kind to me, or there will be consequences, since I am powerful.
Koopa Troopa: Uhm, hey everyone. I'm Koopa Troopa, aka MysteryMan, aka Blaze. I'm not the most social person in the group, but I do have some brains to make up for it. Let's get this show on the road!
Bowser Jr: Why am I here? I hate doing stuff like this, I’m leaving.
Blue Toad: Weeeeeeeellllllllllll….. Yea, you can’t. You have a contract.
Bowser Jr: I hate you, and your scumbag head.
Blue Toad: Thank you, I take pride in that. Finally, It’s Shy Guy!
Mario: I’m sorry, but Who?
Blue Toad: Shy Guy! You know, the sixteenth contestant, standing over there.
Shy Guy: Oh, me? Oh, here I come- ow. *trips*
Cat Toad: (to Blue Toad) now you see why I said Pauline should be here?
Blue Toad. Yes. Yes I do.. Anyways, time for two teams of eight for the game! Let’s use the Slot-Machine-Machine.

Blue Toad: Our first spin is… Mario, Luigi, Bowser Jr, and Toad.
Bowser Jr: Ugh. Great. Why am I with these weaklings?
Mario: Who are you calling weak?
Luigi: Yea!

Blue Toad: Spin two. Rosalina, Toadette, Petey Pirahna, and Shy Guy! *ding* *ding* *ding*
Toadette: Hey Rosalina! We get to be on the same team! Well.. I think…
Petey Pirahna: Rrawrr!!
Shy Guy: I’m sorry. I don’t believe we met, who are you?
Rosalina: My name is Rosalina. I fly across the galaxy with my cosmic friends and the Lumas to find galaxy friends.
Shy Guy: That sounds tiring, but cool!

Blue Toad: Spiiiiiiiiinnnnn Threeeeeeeeeeeeeiiee! Peach, Bowser, Nabbit, and Yoshi! The remaining four form the final spin. Those being Waluigi, Koopa Troopa, Daisy, and Wario.
Waluigi: Yes! I get to be with Wario!
Wario: I’m happy too, but I don’t wanna jinx it.
Peach: Well I’m not happy being on the same team as Bowser.
Yoshi: Yea, can I switch teams?
Bowser: Grr…
Blue Toad: Nope!
Yoshi: Can’t say I was surprised.

Blue Toad: Time for the challenge to decide the teams! As you have noticed, you human players are each in a separate spin group. So, you four will do a challenge to decide what two groups form together. So, Yoshi's group will merge into Toad's group and Koopa's group goes to Petey's group. The new teams include Mario, Luigi, Bowser Jr, Toad, Yoshi, Peach, Bowser and Nabbit. You guys form Team 1. And the other eight, being Petey Pirahna, Koopa, Wario, Waluigi, Daisy, Rosalina, Shy Guy, and Toadette, and you form Team 2.
Mario: Ahem. Blue Toad, what will our team names be? I can't refer myself by such a mindless name.
Blue Toad: Oh, yes. I forgot. Um, you can be the Retro Rascals. And the other team will be the Private Pirahnas .
Mario: Ah yes. Very original.
Toad: I kinda dig it.
Bowser Jr: Of course you do. You're a brainless dingus!
Yoshi: Bowser Jr! Stop insulting my friends just because you have to be here.
Bowser Jr: What are you gonna do about it?
Peach: Yep this team is going to last long.
Waluigi: See Wario? I knew we would be on the same team!
Wario: That's cool, but what happens if we lose?
Blue Toad: Oohoohoo! That's my faaavoriite part. When a team loses, they do the elimination ceremony, where they must choose one of their own to boot out of the game. The person with the most votes is out, and must leave the island. Your first challenge begins.. in the next episode of the Mario Kart PC Fanfic!

Question: why did you use the word ‘gay’ when talking about about medals that ARNT forced and are WANTED yet you treat them like they are bad and ‘use the word gay’ to make them seem worse. please explain
