7 Nintendo Consoles Ranked

They all honestly are good. I will rank 5-10 using the following: how fun games are, how costly it is(yep, retro ones will be higher then), how varied the games are.

7. GCN 5.5/10
Although Melee and MS are good, Double Dash and Kirby Airride stick like sore thumbs. This is a weirdo console

6. WiiU 6/10
Agreeable that it has good games, but it's shop sucks

5. Switch 7.5/10
It may be popular, but it uses non-nintendo games like minecraft to get popular. That's cheating tbh.

4. SNES 8/10
Honestly, this could use more work for SMK and SMW. Otherwise nice.

3. Wii 9/10
The games are good, but they can use some shooter and sports games with motion controls.

2. N64 9.5/10
The games may be crappy, but they set the basic standards for any 3d games. The controller is the best! First person shooters are great, home to Super Mario 64, it is extremely underrated. Has a few PS1 games

1. NES 9.75/10
The games kinda have aged and the time has passed for online and motion controls, but man, this is so good! Contra, Mario Bros 3, Excitebike, Sports games, Wrecking Crew, Kirby, Zelda, Metroid, puzzle games, etc. I wish the graphics were better.

He dares to forget DS family* , Arcade, virtual boy, GBA family and maybe other console.
* = DS + DSi + DS lite + DSi lite + 2DS + 2DS XL + New 2DS XL + 3DS + 3DS XL + New 3DS XL (Normally, I didn't forget DS console)

So switch using non-nintendo games is cheating but when N64 uses ps1 games its not?

Because the ps1 was working with nintendo back then, they stopped working with nintendo after n64, hence it counts

7. NES
Its games haven't aged well, but there are classics here like Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, and Anticipation.

6. SNES
Now THIS I have nostalgia for, playing this console back in the early 2010's at the daycare my grandma worked at. Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing.

5. Nintendo 64
Guys, I don't think the N64 is the best Nintendo console, time to burn me at the stake! I mean, I love the multiplayer games and Banjo-Kazooie. But games like Super Mario 64 are overrated. This is still a great console though.

4. Wii U
Guys, I think the Wii U is a great Nintendo console, time to burn me at the stake! This system is really underrated. There's great games here like Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Paper Mario Color Splash, Yoshi's Wooly World, Splatoon, which gave a breath of fresh air to a genre that desperately needed one, and so much more. And Virtual Console. Plus, it was my first Nintendo system, but shhhhhh.

3. Wii
Ah, the Wii. Every grandma's favorite console with virtual bowling. The Mario sports games here are some of the best sports video games period. Mario Strikers Charged, Mario Super Sluggers, and Mario Sports Mix. And other amazing games like the Mario Galaxy games, the Kirby games, and Flingsmash, you can't forget Flingsmash.

2. Switch
It's got Splatoon 2, Mario + Rabbids, Smash Ultimate, Breath of the Wild, and Super Mario Odyssey. The king of Nintendo online gaming since the Wii too. Sure, the Switch Online isn't..perfect, but this console is still amazing.

1. Gamecube
I didn't get this console until about a year ago, but man, I wish I got it sooner. Luigi's Mansion, Mario Sunshine, all 4 Mario Parties, the Mario sports games, heck, even the licensed games were at their best here. There was a type of quality in games on the Gamecube that Nintendo has just not matched since. Nintendo was willing to take far more risks on this system that worked, but didn't pay off. Pretty sad honestly.


Anywho, those are my opinions and don't try to change my mind on the Gamecube.

I mean, it's OK, but compared to everything else, it's pretty much garbage (no offense)

6. Nintendo 64
The console is good, housing games like Mario 64, Mario Party, OG Smash Bros, Banjo Kazooie, Paper Mario, etc. (and of course, Gex) But The worst part is the CONTROLLER. The controller is (in my opinion) TERRIBLE. Really, how do I even play games with this?

5. SNES
The NES's big bro. I love the amount of good games on here. You got Mario World, Star Fox, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Super Mario RPG, etc.

4. Gamecube
The Most overrated one, besides the switch. I feel like people sometimes give it TOO much credit. It has great games like Mario Sunshine, Kirby's Air Ride, Smash Melee, etc. The controller might look weird at first but it's actually really good to use.

3. Wii U
The most nostalgic one for me. It love the Wii U and nobody will make me take that back. I'v had so much memories with games like Mario 3D World, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Mario Kart 8, etc. Plus, the Wii U Gamepad is really good to control.

2. Wii
The Wii Has Many Good And Nostalgic games to go back on like Wii Sports, Kirby's Dream Collection, Sonic Unleashed, etc. The only downsides are that the controller runs on batteries, and it seems to have much more shovelware than any other console. But the console is still great.
1. Switch
The best one by far. It can be portable AND a home console. so, it's like the best of both worlds! It has a great selection of games and the joycons don't even feel that bad. Honestly It's My Favorite One.

5. Gameboy
It's kinda solid, but like the NES, compared to everything else, it's pretty bad.

4. Gameboy Color
Just the gameboy, but with color. the only thing that makes it better (other than the color) is shantae, because i love that game series.

2. (Tie) 3DS
I couldn't decide which to put higher, so I tied em. The 3ds is a Very good handheld, sporting many games. Also, the 3d effect is pretty good.

2. (Tie) Gameboy Advance
I don't know why I like the GBA so much, but a few reasons are probably some of the games are great but unnoticed. Another reason is that I LOVE The GBA soundfont. (Especially In Pokemon, Advance Wars, And Mario Kart Super Circuit.)

1. DS
The Ds is amazing. It's my favorite handheld. It houses Many Games, But a standout is Mario Kart DS, Because It was my first game EVER. Also, the game include great features with the touch screen, overall the DS is great. My favorite handheld.
