Online Safety Tips For MKPC

People probably would actually need this given the 15 year old lonely w*nker seeking validation from random kids on MKPC isn't going to stop anytime soon

Here are some tips to stay safe on MKPC!

1. Do NOT associate artificial intelligence with online safety

It does not work, artificial intelligence will not ensure you have online safety and it will not save you

2. Tendo can't really do anything other than get your email

The way he tries to hack people's accounts is to get their emails and send password reset requests to people's accounts



If you fall for this, you are stupid!!1!11!!

Don't set your email on your MKPC account to any school email account (for obvious reasons) and ignore any password reset emails that isn't yours

Just do these things and you're safe lol

Seriously tho, this is probably the best advice I've seen on MKPC for circumventing that thunderc**t's bullshit rather than unnecessarily fearmongering like a lot of similar topics tend to do, intentionally or otherwise

It's soooooo sad that kids these days need to be told about this stuff like, what are they teaching them in school!? See back in MY day... we had common sense and school would maybe teach us about this online stuff but now, no joke, most kids in my class couldn't even submit there assignments because they could not see the big button saying so. I could not begin to explain in words the pure rage I was feeling the first time I herd those words form that question broooo...

I remember when I did A-Levels there was some point where the staff asked some of the A-Level students if they would be okay giving up some of their spare time helping teach the younger year groups (like an assistant teacher)

So I helped teach a computer science class for a while, since I took it as an A-Level, and I'm not even joking, there were people there who typed google.com into google

what's even worse is that there is NO age verification or ANY verification of some sort. heck, i could make another 25 alts if i wanted to right now. this place has "Mario Kart" in the name, which just so happens to attract so many kids, which is why we've seen so much message farming in the past. it's not that bad anymore, parents most likely have gotten way smarter and actually WATCHED their kids messing with their phones.

Who is Tendo? I've seen that he's bothered quite a few people, though thank God I wasn't one of them lol

He's a massive pain who thinks he's tuff and found an exploit to find peoples emails. He thinks he found mine but I just put my first name under a decoy domain that my dad owns.

I think a good update suggestion for MKPC would be to not even show the email address instead of having the first three letters and the domain visible when you type your username into Forgot Password so that the nosy annoying people don't find too much information like the place where you may live near if you have a school email, or the first three letters of your real name (if it is in your email). I used to have an email in my account but don't even have an email in my account anymore for a reason.
