I keep seeing some people say Mario wonder looks “too weird.” That’s how I know this is a new generation of Mario fans- the golden age of Mario (n64/gamecube/gameboy/snes etc) was all about being weird. Unique characters, interesting locations, more personality https://19216811.cam/ https://1921681001.id/ . This is the direction I’ve been begging the series to go. Og fans also know that Nintendo putting eyes on inanimate objects like clouds and hills brings that old Mario vibe.👍🏼 Seeing mario wonder and especially Mario rpg remake gives me a lot of hope for Mario’s future and I’m loving it.

You do realize that the only reason the remake is like this is because it's a remake. Just saying. If it was a remaster, it'd be modernized to hell & back, don't give them any "credit" for that, just use Wonder.

Wonder isn't out yet, so it can't be the best for now. Which makes U the best. DS is poor, Wii is a worse version of U & the other is running on the equivalent of a smart watch. Good for it's time, terrible now.
Wonder doesn't even have triple jumping, & it looks like all the extra unnecessary animations will make it bad for speedrunning(the pipe ones specifically) not as bad to speedrun as Galaxy, but an easy second.

Idk, I've played games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine and they didn't seem that weird. Like, obviously F.L.U.D.D. was really unique, and the spin from the Galaxy games hasn't returned but I personally think the newer games have similar things, like Cappy or the Baby Yoshis from NSMBU. I think Mario Wonder just seems like something new that we don't know much about yet, and I'm sure everyone will get used to the art style once the game releases and they've played it for a while, myself included
