People were debating about what the final SNES track would be next wave. It was the only track we didn't know for the wave, all the other 7 were filled in ages ago.
People thought the Ad for Vanilla Lake on Coconut Mall meant it was coming, although, of course, it's a Tour rip, so it didn't mean a damn thing. The other options were Koopa Beach, trumped by Koopa Cape, or Choco Island, trumped by Sunset Wilds. The only other valid option was an SNES Bowser Castle, which has never been remade, so they defaulted to Vanilla Lake anyway, even with Snow Land.
We finally have all 8, there are only 5 more to go for Wave 6 & then it's ALL over.

You can dodge in the original games, so it makes sense that's it's been in this game since forever. Remember this site was made by comp players.

Nintendo added Spiny Shell in Mario Kart 64. People liked this game, but really hated addition of this shell. Nintendo has reasons not to remove the Blue Shell, so in later games we can dodge this item by being fast enough. In Mario Kart 8, its Deluxe port and Mario Kart Tour there's the Super Horn which can help with avoiding the infamous shell.
I don't know if the possibility of avoiding the Blue Shell was in Mario Kart PC before, but I remember dodging the shell while playing in Online Mode one day and completing my new challenge in my new track today.

Yup! GBA bowser Castle 4 is coming to Tour at the same time too, but just like with Yoshi Desert, Sunset Wilds still swipes the last GBA slot in the Pass.

I love Mario and Nintendo in general. Now I know this is fairly obvious considering I’m writing this on a Mario Kart forum but there’s a reason for this. When I was around 10-13 I thought that Mario “was only for little kids” and I had “outgrown” it. But two years ago I started to regain interest in Nintendo and I ended finally getting a switch to. I remember playing Odyssey for the first time and I was loving it. I wondered why I lost my love of Mario in the first place because the game was incredible. Now I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving Mario. But yeah I just wanted talk about it, because I actually thought Mario was cringe for a period of time which is crazy to think about now.

It's true. You see alot of stories of people saying they thought they'd outgrown Nintendo games, when in reality, they had'nt even been playing "Nintendo" games. The people who are like "Nintendo is for kids!" Confuse "for kids" & "for everyone", and have only touched Mario or Pokemon or Zelda. It's really unfortunate. Series like Pikmin, Metroid, Punch Out have never had a chance to hit big, & the series that do get chances, like StarFox, fail anyway. We need the next console to hit high,although the track record for direct sequel consoles is the opposite.
