If you were to add 10 more characters to Ultimate, who would it be and why?

Hnnngh, I need him. If they went for retro, modern, or both, his moveset would be a blast.
Crash Bandicoot
It's Crash Bandicoot.
Geno
It's Geno.
Hat Kid
I really like A Hat In Time, so I would love to see Hat Kid in Smash. P e c k n e c k.
Crewmate/Imposter
Is Among Us dead? Kinda, but I still think they should add it into Smash. Guess they could do it like Pyra/Mythra.
Shy Guy
I like Shy Guy. Dunno how they would do his moveset.
Toad
I think he would be.. interesting.
Henry Stickmin
A really funny video game series and character that would be perfect for Smash.
Bandana Waddle Dee
We would have the crew from Return to Dreamland.
Phoenix Wright
I have no idea how they would pull it off, but I really would like to see him in Smash.
Henry: Henry Stickmin could use his distraction dance as a defense (the opponent would be forced into doing the dance allowing Henry to dance away from his opponent) Henry could use a Tank in a Box to run over his opponent as an attack, Henry could use the Gravitometer (but remember that you must press the button to return gravity to normal) however the Gravitometer would move you really fast making it a timing challenge. For the Final Smash, Henry could use The Greatest Plan (Charles) to smash a helicopter into his opponent. This would be the first time Charles' Plan would work.
Ellie: Ellie could use a motorcycle to knock over her opponents (like in Fleeing the Complex) Ellie could also use The Force to move her opponent (also from Fleeing The Complex) but The Force would only work for a short amount of time. For the Final Smash, Ellie and Henry would fuse into Ellry, and big Ellry would stomp on the opponent (like in Completing The Mission, except it would be more successful in Smash)
Ellie and Henry would be both in one character slot, and you could switch them mid battle to get each of their abilities.
Ellie wouldn’t be part of the move set. She’s only been in 2/5.5 games. Henry should INSTEAD have several variants for every move. Side and Up B have different versions depending on if you hold or tap, NB would have several options around him and he’d have to hold the corresponding direction afterwards to choose it (less like Hero’s selection and more like the Monado wheel) and Down B could change EVERY move. It’d cycle between a rushdown play style, a tactical playstyle, and a jack-of-all trades mishmash. It would far better represent the gimmick of the series, that being choices.
K, but maybe Ellie can be a seperate character then, I need my Ellie. Also 5.5? What's the point 5?
I was counting Breaking the Bank as only half of a game.
Why? It's still a full game lol
Uuuhhh...
...no?
It’s literally only one choice selection screen with 6 options. That’s not a full game, especially compared to the other stickmin series entries.

Okay, arguing over whether a game is a full one seems a little pointless.

This topic is more than they'd ever want to add, and this is asking in the pool of EVERY CHARACTER TO EVER EXIST.
In short, what 10 characters from ANYTHING would you want in Smash?
I'd say:
Dr. Luigi
They put Doc Mario in Smash, Doc Luigi should be in too
Waluigi
Self Explanatory.
Luffy
I don't know why, but I really like Luffy in SSF2. I never watched One Piece, yet something about Luffy just made me want to main him.
Charlie Brown
Good Grief, where do I begin with this? I know he's never been in a video game, and it would be weird to see him fighting Bowser and Ganondorf, but...
Can't you say the same for Villager, Isabelle, the Miis, and to some extent Mr. Game & Watch?
In addition, there's definitely enough material to make a moveset out of.
Heavy Weapons Guy
Why not?
Jeff (EarthBound)
EarthBound/Mother needs more reps, and this would probably be the most unique choice.
Unless you want to put in Ness' Dad or something.
The Toad from Toad Trainworks
yes.
Linebeck
Zelda needs representatives that aren't the holders of the Triforce
Peppino Spaghetti
Would make an interesting character.
Crash Bandicoot
Honestly, how is he not in yet?
Who would you put in?
yes we need charlie brown in there i think he would be a good character considering snoopy and woodstock. and also his sister can maybe vary in there as well

Actually, this could be a Counter move.

Ones I want and not ones I expect? Yes! Now I can be as cringy as I want!
#81: Paper Mario
Even though I can't think of any moves except the Hammer and MAYBE the boot, I think he'd be interesting to see in Smash Bros and could have a cool moveset!
#82: Knuckles the Echidna (or Shadow the Hedgehog. I'm not picky)
I tend to avoid the silly sounding ones that every kid and their brother wants (Waluigi, anyone?), but I think Knuckles or Shadow would be interesting to see in Smash Bros. I see Knuckles as more likely, as has more moves that could be turned into specials. Even though Shadow has his Chaos abilities, we haven't really seen them in action extensively in the videogames since SA2 or Shadow the Hedgehog, although I would love to see them incorporate some of what he's done in the comic books into an official game. I also think that it would add some more representation of Sonic the Hedgehog into Smash Bros., considering the epic rivalry of Nintendo and SEGA has eased up a bit. (Although this whole thing might just be me being a bit of a Sonic fan talking)
#83: Chun-Li
My limited experience of playing a Street Fighter game trails back to me finding an arcade machine next to one of those indoor climb-around things (and to this day I'm not sure if what I played was Street Fighter or something else), but both Ryu and Ken are interesting fighters, so Chun-Li would certainly be fun to see in Smash Bros. She's already from a fighting game, so she's basically got a moveset already, and I could see her having an interesting moveset.
#84: Proto-Man (Or maybe Bass?)
There aren't a lot of Gunner characters in Smash, and I hear not a lot of people like playing them, but if they can figure out a way for Proto-Man to have a good move-set, while still having a fun playstyle, he could be very interesting to see in Smash Bros. He can't copy other Robot Master's abilities like Mega Man, but his combined shield and gun could make combat super fun. I think Bass could also be a pick in place of Proto-Man, but if they do him, they would probably just end up making him an Echo Fighter, and who wants another one of those?
#85: Baby Mario
do it. you wont
#86: LEGO Darth Vader
This will never happen, and is just a little cringy, but after seeing a meme on a Discord server I'm in, I thought, "with the new LEGO Star Wars game coming out, it would be cool if it happened." Being Darth Vader and all, there would be some cool force abilities he could use, maybe a force-choke hold like Robin's Down-B, just without the heal. (Or that would be the grab, but I'm fine either way).
#87: Shy Guy
I have next to 0 ideas what his moveset would be (Probably something like Peach's turnip, but I have no ideas past that), and it's a ridiculously stupid idea, but hey, if Piranha Plant was a sensible idea, this surely is, right? He's a favorite character of mine, so it would be fun playing as him.
He said, completely ignoring the fact everyone thought Piranha plant was a stupid idea
#88: Crash Bandicoot (Although I think there was an interview saying it's not going to happen, I'm not sure)
Unlike Street Fighter (I think?), I've played absolutely nothing of the Crash Bandicoot games. However, from the little I've seen of the game, he could be fun to play as. Plus, a lot of people want him. If someone completely random like Banjo Kazooie can just barely slide by, being a Microsoft representative, maybe Crash can. If you have Nintendo, Microsoft, SEGA, and Capcom all contributing fighters to Super Smash Bros., and Sony joins in on the action, the game could only grow from there and would have all the more diverse a selection of fighters!
#89/90: James Taylor/Gary Stewart (From The Typing of the Dead)
Not only would this provide a keyboard attachment for the Nintendo Switch, aiding Speedrunners and modders, but they would provide an incredible addition to the Super Smash Bros. roster. Certain words, phrases, or even full sentences would appear over the head of the character. And, unlike in the game they hail from where doing this would kill zombies, typing out whatever appears above their heads would automatically move the character. A computer AI would detect how quickly you typed out the phrase, and would move. How well they move or how effective the move is would depend on how quickly you typed out the phrase. This would teach kids and adults alike around the world typing skills, and force attacking players to find a way around the AI and telegraph it's moves carefully. The competitive scene would change forever, and the world of Super Smash Bros. would never be the same.

Now im thinking what would be crewmate/imposter spirit board???
On 2021-05-22 at 02:34:34
I was thinking something else for Crewmates' final smash. To start it, He punches the nearest person to him. The the Emergency meeting appears and the victim is thrown out of the ship and hits some asteroids. Then the crewmate shoots the victim with the asteroid task and a massive explosion appears. Another cool thing is that if you look closely at the ship, the impostor emerges and tries to attack the crewmate. When he gets close enough, the next part of the next clip plays.

My 10 characters would be:
Waluigi
Self explanatory.
Toad and Toadette
How are they not in yet?
Crash Bandicoot
I don’t know.
Spongebob
Look, I had to do it considering Spongebob has his own game now.
The Koopalings (only counts as 1 character)
Like, with unique abilities instead of being alts for Bowser Jr.
Dry Bones
Unique character and could be fun in Smash.
Funky Kong
I DON’T SEE HIM IN THE CHARACTER ROSTER! WHERE IS HE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Dry Bowser
Like Dry Bones, unique character. Moveset could be similar to Bowser’s.
Baby Yoshi
You could have all SMW Baby Yoshi abilities, as well as every single Baby Yoshi’s abilities from NSMBU combined as well.
So yeah!
