I hate YouTube so much rn, seriously

Over the past few days I've gone onto YouTube and this is what I've seen on the homepage:



GODDAMMIT!!! WHYYYYY!?!?!?
MARIO KART TOUR IS SO TRASH IMAO

Oh and MK8DX and Wii are so much better, why can't they just recommend me that?

Overtime Youtube has kinda sucked, with them removing the abilitt to see likes and dislikes, they added shorts to pretend to be other social media, it's dumb, it's aa dumb as Discord with all these new updates trying to be Twitter or Instagram

I could defend Tour, but the real problem you're having is that you're watching Mario Kart lol, Mario Kart is Mario Kart for the algorithm, it doesn't care to differentiate.
Also recent stuff is probably prioritized too, that's what happens when you watch dead games with newer versions out.
And basically every Mario Kart sucks, so you don't need to apologize, they're all quite bad.
Solution: Be less broad when watching Mario Kart. Go out of the way to specify as much as possible I guess?
OR be open to everything.
OR be closed to everything.
You can't do anything to fix this, other than just stop watching entirely.

I love YouTube, but I hate that most of the recent updates are making this service worse.

Youtube does suck but you could just press the Not Intrested button

The more they update it, the more I want to hit the not interested button on YouTube

I've clicked that button a million times, they just keep on coming back to me.

I don't understand how there could be much worse than what were talking about

Then press the Don't recomend this channel button

I mean I was exaggerating things, but getting MKT on your fyp isn't something to hate YT for.. Or at least not to create a topic about it

Shorts are good when YouTube isn't giving you bad ones

Discord is fine if you only join private servers, but if you’re joining a public server than it becomes a shithole filled with terminally online people who are extremely cringe and toxic. As for YouTube shorts well it’s not too bad, I mean there’s a lot of stupid stuff on there. But that’s true of all social media.

At least Discord isn't as bad as Twitter, but its starting to become twitter it seems
