/!\ MàJ du Moteur / Engine Update

Comme annoncé, il est temps de revoir le jeu à sa racine ordi
@Wargor a directement modifié le moteur du jeu pour vous offrir une mise à jour qui rend MKPC encore plus proche des MK officiels ^^ yoshi

Équilibrage et Poids :

Le rééquilibrage des persos a été complètement revu ! :D
Chaque personnage est intéressant et il n'y a pas de persos plus fort que d'autres ^^

Par conséquent, les temps en contre-la-montre ont étés remis à zéro :s
Mais c'est une parfaite occasion pour recommencer du bon pied !
Pour voir les anciens temps en contre-la-montre, il suffit de cliquer ici.

Une nouvelle statistique en a profité pour apparaître :o
Le Poids défini la capacité de chaque personnage à pousser et à être poussé ;)

En effet, les collisions avec les autres coureurs ont changé. Il est maintenant de pousser ses adversaires ^^

IA et Dérapage :

Lutter sera plus que nécessaire maintenant que les IA ont reçus un coup de boost :p
Car maintenant, les ordis suivent une trajectoire plus optimale et ne se bloquent plus toad

De plus, une nouvelle mécanique de dérapage est apparue !
Elle empêche le snaking pour plus d'équité
Elle encourage le skill avec l'arrivée d'un nouveau niveau de mini turbo !

Triple-champi et Départ :

Si vous êtes observateur, vous avez peut-être remarqué l'objet sur la capture d'au-dessus ;)
Et oui ! Le triple-champignon apparaît en mode Contre-la-Montre :o
Ce nouvel objet est, pour l'instant, seulement disponible dans ce mode

Lors d'une partie à plus de 8 joueurs, les positions de départ sont placées plus intelligemment ^^

Collisions et Glitchs :

Tout comme les collisions avec les autres joueurs, d'autres collisions ont été améliorés ! :D
Lorsqu'on rentre dans un mur, on peut glisser le long du mur au lieu de juste rebondir contre celui-ci
Les décors "ennemis" comme les thwomps ou les cheep-cheep étourdissent au lieu de faire rebondir
Certains glitchs ont étés aussi corrigés ;)

Nouveautés dans l'éditeur complet :

Même l'éditeur complet a le droit à des nouveautés :$
Il est maintenant entièrement possible de faire un circuit complet en GIF
Il est possible de placer plusieurs types de décors différents :o

Pour comprendre à quel point, cette mise à jour est énorme, le meilleur moyen reste de la tester ;)
J'espère que cette mise à jour vous plaît :D

Avant que vous partiez, sachez que cette mise à jour se place dans le contexte d'une mise à jour plus grosse encore :o

Balancing and Weight :

The balancing of the characters has been completely revised! :D
Each character is interesting and there are no characters stronger than others ^^

As a result, time trials have been reset :s
But it's a perfect opportunity to start a new age!

A new statistic took the opportunity to appear :o
The Weight define the ability of each character to push and to be pushed ;)

In fact, the collisions with other players have changed. You can now push your opponents ^^

AI and Drift :

AI have received a boost :p
Because now, the computers follow a more optimal path and don't block themself any more toad

In addition, a new drift appeared !
It prevents snaking for more equity
It encourages the skill with the arrival of a new level of mini-turbo!

Triple-mushroom and Starting line :

If you are an observer, you may have noticed the object on the screen from above ;)
Yes! The triple-mushroom appear in Time Trials :o
This new object is, for now, only available in this mode

In a game with more than 8 players, the starting positions are better placed ^^

Collisions and Glitchs :

Just like collisions with other players, other collisions have been improved! :D
When entering a wall, you can slide along the wall instead of just bouncing against it
Enemy decor like thwomps or cheep-cheep stun instead of bouncing
Some glitchs have been corrected too ;)

What's new in the complete track builder :

Even the complete track builder has novelties :$
It's now entirely possible to make a complete circuit in GIF
It's possible to place several types of different decors :o

To understand how much this update is huge, the best way is to test it ;)

Better Starting Grid. Much better.


Bigger Creator engine w/ Animated tracks. Nice! and also, Amazing.
Balance and Weight and A.I. Now things got interesting.

Intellectual COMs are fine and awe. MKPC is never being less Bumper Kart PC than before. Closer and closer.

When it comes to balancing characters? I guess fine my new favorite racers. mines are Hammer Bros., Daisy,King Boo, and Toadette.

Wargor FYI, after one month of filtering work from the validation team, I just invalidated ~100 challenges created before the new engine.
To see if some of your challenges are concerned by that, just click here: https://mkpc.malahieude.net/challengesList.php?recheck
If the list is empty, then you have nothing to do!
If not, you can recomplete the concerned challenges if you want to republish them (you don't have to, of course).

Pour info, après un mois de travail de filtrage par l'équipe de validation, j'ai invalidé une centaine de défis qui avaient été créés avant le nouveau moteur.

Begabojo Here is something I suggest, fixed walls. Every time I bump into a wall with my back turned to it, I stop moving even though I should have ricocheted off the wall.
