9. SNES (lack of themes, bland shapes, it was the first MK ever but still...)
8. N64 (I dislike most of MK64's tracks, there's a few great ones like the Bowser's Castle, the Rainbow Road or the Wario Stadium, bust most are meh in my opinion)
7. GBA (although it's a 2D game, they put much more effort than in SMK: varied themes, varied paths, gimmicks, etc. Not great but definitely better than the first 2 MKs)
6. 3DS (I'd say 2 thirds of the nitro tracks aren't memorable... There's a few gems like Koopapolis, Music Park, the Wuhu tracks and the Rainbow Road, but most nitro tracks are just decent without being great in my opinion... Also the retro tracks are mostly fine, my only problem being that they picked too many N64 Mushroom Cup tracks)
5. DS (The only nitro tracks I don't like that much are the 3 first ones of the Mushroom Cup (Figure-8 Circuit is bad, Yoshi Falls is too short and almost feels like a GCN Baby Park, Cheep-Cheep Beach feels a little bit meh) but apart from that all of the other nitro tracks are all really great and unique. The retro tracks are meh but it's the first Mario Kart with retro tracks so what would you expect...)
4. Wii U (I mean, the graphics are great... But the tracks feel too easy compared to older MK games? There's no half-pipes anymore, no wheelies, gliders aren't as interesting as in MK7... That's why, despite the great graphics, I'm putting the OG MK8 so low)
3. GCN (All tracks are great or have something unique that makes them feel special... Too bad there's only 16 tracks in the entire game, if there were more I would've put the game in second place)
2. Wii (Lots of memorable great nitro tracks and most retro tracks are pretty good)
1. NS (Much more larger selection of tracks than any other console MK game (especially with BCP) along with high-quality graphics is the only reason I'm putting MK8DX first)
Unranked: Mario Kart Tour because I've never played it

what if everyone became immortal
Would you want to survive the heat death of the universe and age till you're basically a living husk floating in the middle of nothingness where physics doesn't exist? As with wiping the world clean of any emotion, mass immortality is a fundamentally flawed idea.
What if we only lived until then, and then die?
70-80 years is more than enough, I'd be glad to fall into the eternal and peaceful bliss of inexistence after such a long time as a human on Earth.
As much as I love life and believe existence is a gift, I'd be really pissed off if death wasn't the end.
Some things are just great when temporal but awful when eternal.

- What if I never lost my MKPC skills?
go apprendre le rd
Pour le RD je me suis entraîné à le faire mais je suis quand même à peine plus rapide qu'avec le sneaking.

- What if people stopped judging so much what two consenting adults do together and minded their own business?pas compris

- What if I matured earlier and didn't go through all the trauma that stalled my mental development?
- What if I was free of all mental illnesses?

I'm wondering how many notifs I would have if I never touched them since the day I joined MKPC, probably much more than 5K
I joined before the notifs feature was even added to the website

What if...

1. They already have the ability to do tricks What if the CPUs started doing tricks and drifting like in the modern Mario Karts?
2. They're already fast enough in their highest difficulties to not need drifting

Because there's no need to shut down the game, it's just a retro fangame with a tiny amount of basic Google ads.
Nintendo isn't going to win much by shutting down this small community, it wouldn't be worth the hassle for them.
And that's supposing they even know about MKPC's existence, which I bet they don't.
We're most likely safe unless maybe if the game becomes millions of times more active in the future (but even then...).
I might be wrong but that's how I've always seen the situation.

Open Letter to CPU Difficulty Deniers
On 2023-09-05 at 14:32:46
Honestly, my only problem with the CPUs is their weight which is too high (as explained in another topic...)
Apart from that, the speed, acceleration, etc. is just fine in my opinion for each difficulty, if you can't beat them just get better at the game
You can easily beat hard CPUs without even RDing (which is the GP difficulty)

Can we ALL agree with this?
On 2023-08-30 at 14:22:40
- They don't take up much space
- You should know what you're doing by adding 100 CPUs in the first place
It can still be difficult to avoid them with rubber banding and all that shit tbh
Then go faster!!!
This is literally saying the same thing as "Oh you're poor? Just get money."
Except it's possible
I'm not saying they should have no weight at all. I get it, it adds a challenge to go faster and avoid them... But too much is too much. They're WAY too heavy right now. The game would be better if they would be somewhat lighter.
"doesn't increase the difficulty in any meaningful way" "it adds a challenge to go faster and avoid them".
anyway stop trying to fuck with the game
I'm not saying to remove their weight just decrease it. Right now, they're too heavy.

Having them much heavier than the player doesn't increase the difficulty in any meaningful way, it just makes the game more frustrating and annoying: you can totally play the game perfectly well by drifting RDing and all yet getting unfairly punished by being pushed into the void by one of these ultra-heavy CPUs when you made no mistake and had no way to avoid being pushed.
Also, a group of 100 CPUs is pretty much an impenetrable wall which decreases the challenge possibilities with very large CPU amounts since you depend on the items to go past them.
It should at least be possible to deactivate collisions from the settings in VS mode
In the skinny tracks like SNES Rainbow Road I go off the Trick ramps and get pushed off by DK or Bowser and it's just unfair.

I know there are lots of noobs who complain about the CPUs being too difficult to beat when it's in reality just a skill issue... However, there is actually one thing in my opinion that needs to be nerfed about them, but just one: their weight.

Is it possible to somehow have MKPC on switch
On 2023-07-30 at 04:27:01
You don't need to mod your Switch to play MKPC xD
Just open the Switch's browser (hacky but feasible on any Switch even unmoddable ones), then go on MKPC.
Since MKPC has controller support there should be no issue at playing the game

Giving my 67K points away
On 2023-08-13 at 04:15:22
@-princesslucky- I kind of get your point tbh...
I'm willing to forgive everyone and move on BUT PrimeTime has to stop breaking the rules and trash talking, otherwise he does deserve a ban, that's what banning was invented for: preventing bad members for messing around with the website.
Him giving away his points like that is just him breaking a rule for the 1000th time, after a ton of warnings, so a ban wouldn't be unjustified at all, but let's be nice and apply your forgiveness concept in which case he can remain unbanned as long as he stops with his constant rule breaking.

@osc omb my intent was not to violate this rule , i just wanted to help out before dropping the mic
You still shouldn't do something like that, since you're giving undeserved points to players, it's kinda like breaking that rule.5
