The problem with MKPC

This might be a hard situation to get out of. Moderation is inactive, and spam has increased. Space For Anything has become the new MK Hype, simply due to the spam. It’s hard to find actual conversations about MKPC, and it’s hard to just have a good time. There are 3 examples of people which are contributing to causing problems:
Coopa
Tendo
KirbyBoy
Coopa
Known mostly for how much he spams. Spends most of his time either going off-topic or complaining about other people going off-topic, even though a drama =/= off-topic. He also likes to support the other problem makers.
Tendo
He’s been banned twice, and has somehow not been banned for a last and final time after what he did the other day (alt spam, insulting other members, ect.) He cares more about topics than other people, and also suggests punishing people but begs to not be punished himself. Just annoying and hypocritical.
KirbyBoy
In terms of topics, this guy likes to spam them. He has made around 5 topics for the same purpose, in multiple contexts. He complains whenever something doesn’t go his way, and it’s just irritating. Here are some examples:
- Wario stadium and colosseum not being in the BCP
- CPUs being too hard
- DK using a fire flower

Those 3 that you just mentioned, I think each deserve a punishment.
Max has already said in the past that Tendo was on his last chance, and he has blew it.

but I feel like MKPC’s forum is still in quite a bad state, which is only getting worse. Spam rates have only increased since the report update, and I feel like we’ve been forgetting about the report feature. We really need to use it more often, to help mods be aware of spam to delete.

4 words: Human decency and maturity (I know those are actually 6 words if you think about it but let’s not say that because that’s the least of our worries rn) All of them are gone now. Reduced to atoms. Human decency is gone because people keep spamming the n word on online chat and there’s been a DDOS attack and people just being racist + homophobic overall. And then maturity is gone because, oh my god do NOT get me STARTED on how much spam there is on the forums. I would go batshit insane if that’s all we get for the next few years.

I think this calls for a moderator election the last one was in like aguast or September so it has been about half a year

It isn't a good idea in my opinion because it is more based on popularity, we saw it last years with the experience we got. And an other problem is that maturity in the forum is kinda low now so people would just vote mostly for their friends etc, and some people that doesn't deserve the role and knows absolutely nothing about moderation could even win the election. That's why it is bad nowadays, if they were the comm of some years ago yeah why not. I hope you understand ^^
I think he meant the mod applications where the moderators would choose who became mod, and just forgot what it was called

I'm going to try update the rules when I get the chance, I can agree that there's been a lot of stuff happening recently, and a lot of it is hard to control.

We're back into a situation where MKPC is having constant problems, just like when Max made his topic. We seem to be having problems happening everyday. Most of the time these are either avoidable dramas or someone breaking a rule, especially that last one, since a million people seem to break a rule everyday. As for the solution, we have to rely on Max to deal with them, as the only other active moderator is Tox, who is usually asleep when everything happens. There is also Ahmad, though he isnt the most active. This in turn causes problems for max:

No, but like I'm tired of having to deal with all this mess on my own, but shit I have a life, I'm not a banishment machine, plus almost no reaction was relevant, so at least calm down 😭

Nous sommes de retour dans une situation où MKPC a des problèmes constants, tout comme lorsque Max a fait son sujet. Nous semblons avoir des problèmes qui se produisent tous les jours. La plupart du temps, ce sont soit des drames évitables, soit quelqu'un qui enfreint une règle, en particulier la dernière, car un million de personnes semblent enfreindre une règle chaque jour. Quant à la solution, nous devons compter sur Max pour y faire face, car le seul autre modérateur actif est Tox, qui dort généralement quand tout se passe. Il y a aussi Ahmad, même s'il n'est pas le plus actif. Cela pose à son tour des problèmes pour max:
