In this case a question:
Why do you like this track?
Well, I can understand why you and a few others dislike the first part of the track. I mean, it's literally a few turns and jumps. But the SECOND part is where it really shines in my eyes. The bumpers are bouncing the pinballs around, there are item boxes to add even more chaos, and the flippers can be tough to dodge if you come at the wrong time. Not to mention the phenomenal music and unique sound effects when you complete a lap or hit an item box. I even like the first part thanks to the occasional pinball. And Nintendo seems to know a lot of fans like this track, as they brought it back in Mario Kart 7 and even in Wave 2 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass (although I don't own MKDS or MK7, so MK8DX, Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart PC are my only experiences with the track). I respect that you dislike this track, but most fans (myself included) do love this track, and in my opinion, for good reason. (lol my PC is glitchy so this took me 15 minutes to write)
Actually I like this track, even if I find it overrated
And if you want to debate with people who don't like this track, go ask Lely or TheNudgyHampter

Shy guy concept:
Costumes: pretty much same as yoshi
Neutral special: snifit shot. The mask switches to that of a snifit and the shy guy fires a shot, can be held down to charge up a shot.
Up special: stilt launch. The shy guy goes on stilts (like a stilt guy) and launches up, when he lands he damages other fighters below him.
Side special: Kart. Shy guy gets in a standard Kart from Mario Kart and drives to the side, direction can be changed.
Down special: Bomb. The shy guy grabs a bomb and chucks it at enemy's. It goes off after 4 seconds.
Final smash: mask. The shy guy loses it's mask and all other fighters get stunned for some time, all his attacks also have some extra damage.
If you have any suggestions or improvements please tell me. I am up for some criticism.

If you are going the wrong way on a course, make lakitu hold up the "Wrong Way!" sign.
Uh, it's complicated, how would it work with the checkpoint system?
And then on custom circuits it would be even more complicated, and then what will it be used for?
Technically, you could use the ai path to tell if it's the right or wrong way
I don't really know, maybe the checkpoints would be more practical, but hey, I'm not an expert on the subject
Anyway I think it would be a lot of work for not much.

But what if we got some retro courses from 64 and DD from the versions of some of their courses in MKDS? The official game has showed it's possible with all the nitro MKDS maps!

Fine whatever there are REMAKES of those courses BUT THEN WHAT'S THE POINT OF THE "PLAY GAME" RETRO MAPS WHEN THERE ARE TRACKS FOR THOSE, HM?
