This month, I'm holding a sequel to the Super Mario Ride or Dies Tournament, where characters were paired up, and if they survived the previous vote, they would combine into a Super Character. HEROES VS. VILLAINS!
Here's how it will work. I have split sixteen characters into two teams, and pit them up against their rival, nemesis, associate, or in the case of one pair, former partner. The initial match-ups will be:

Everyone will then vote for which of them is their favorite. While I predict the Villains will steamroll the Heroes, I have a plan to keep it somewhat balanced. The eight winners of each match-up will enter the individual phase, where viewers will vote for their least favorite character. Whoever has the most votes is out, and the least-liked character from the majority team at a certain point in the poll will receive my vote, slightly increasing the odds of them getting eliminated. This will go on until the final two characters, when everyone will vote for their favorite to win.
Also, since I'll be on two summer vacations this month, the first one starting on the 12th, the qualifying votes will all take place at once, and will end on the final day of my first trip.

Sure, I'll take part. I do better at TBCs when I don't have to create an original idea.

While I wanna say Wii is better because of the content and gameplay, I won't allow myself to say anything else because Wii's the only one I legally own (I've emulated others though), and it's how I was introduced to the Mario franchise...

I'm sorry. I'm withdrawing from the competition. As said before, I forgot how much more fun it is when I can make tracks on my own time, with my own ideas, so I've decided not to compete. I hope you understand.

I've tried to work on a track, but I couldn't really come up with anything fun. I also remembered why I stopped entering these: having a deadline kinda takes the fun out of making a track. It's not your fault. I'm the one who carelessly signed up for it.

I'll join. I was planning on kickstarting a new complete mode game, so this might give me some ideas. It will also motivate me to do well since my tracks have never been stellar.

Oh gosh it's been almost a year since I last posted here. I don't know if it counts as a revive, but it's my topic about my game that's still being supported, so...
Anyway, Revision 2.30 is coming very soon.
Edit: It's out right now! You can now play reworked versions of the Donkey Kong tracks as Petey Piranha. I'm gonna try to revise all the DX originals, since they could use a lot of work. The next update will be the Pac-Man Cup. I would add Mametchi alongside it, but 24-character limit.

Oh boy... after watching some playthroughs and doing research, I realized that there are A TON of issues with the maps, and in the case of a few courses, even the gameplay. Let's start with the DK Cup. Not only am I having the players go in the wrong direction, but the starting line is in the completely wrong place. And since I colored it based on the mariowiki.com description, I'm gonna have to remake it from scratch. Less important issues include missing speed boosts in Namco Circuit, plus a dislocated glide ramp in both that course and Sky Arena, some miscolorings, and sloppiness. (While you should at most times expect sloppiness from me, compare my Paint 3D maps with the official maps from the DLC cups, and you'll notice a huge difference in how smooth/rough they are.) I'm not saying I will do this, but I may have to remake the game. If I do decide to do this, I'll keep the original version up as the Classic Edition, and call the new one the Clean Edition.
Another thing I'd like to mention is that Namco is hosting an item campaign in MKAGPDX, meaning they haven't completely abandoned the game yet. While It's highly unlikely they will add new characters and courses, it's far from impossible. If anyone would like to bring me back down to Earth, now is your chance to do so. I might need it. XD

Okay, so maybe I'm not finished quite yet. I had a dream last night that Mario Kart Arcade GP DX got its first major update in 1 1/2 years: The... Summer's Cup? Don't question dream logic, okay? Despite its already-odd name, the course icon was a Rainbow Yoshi, (to add to the weirdness, he forgot to put his shoes on at the photoshoot,) and the theme was a desert. I hardly thought anything of the strange inclusions, and when I woke up, it was hard to believe it wasn't real, so I thought to myself, "Why not make a desert-themed Yoshi Cup for Arcade PC?"

So about the Booster Pass...
I really wanted to finish it. I really did. But I couldn't find a way to make new maps that were interesting, while still staying within the Mario Kart Arcade limits. (Though I broke some rules when making the Waluigi courses.) I've also noticed that the multicup's popularity is slowly dying out. For those of you wondering what the other waves would've been... I actually forgot. I know the second wave would've had Birdo and the Yoshi Cup, but that's about it. I also wanted to add a Wario Cup and a Rainbow Cup, but I don't remember the characters that would've gone with them.
I'm moving on from this multicup, and I'm instead planning a spin-off/sequel. I have two ideas for it: the first one is a remake of Arcade GP 2. The second one is turning all 20 course maps into entirely new courses, similar to what DX did to ten of them at launch.

ORIGINAL CONTENT IS FINALLY COMING!
Sometime around May/June (hopefully,) Mario Kart Arcade GP PC will be updated to Revision 3.00, to mark the start of the Mario Kart Arcade GP PC Booster Pass.

Over the span of four updates, the game will receive eight new courses, and five new characters, meaning support for the game will end with 22 courses and 24 characters. The courses will obviously be playable from the start, but each character will have to be unlocked via a special challenge, which will replace the pointless challenges that were originally meant to be used to unlock Bowser Jr, Waluigi, and Wario. The first wave will include the Waluigi Cup, and one mystery character. When will it be released? As soon as the challenge is approved by the moderators.

Hello, everyone. Since Mirror Mode was recently added, I will soon be updating Mario Kart Arcade GP PC to Revision 2.00, where B Variants for all courses return. A few will stay the same, while others will be brand new, since I'm not sure anybody liked the wind mechanic in the Mario courses. I also realized that I forgot to add King Boo, so I will also include him in that update, as well as a possible King Boo Cup.

I know. That's why I'm sending out invites. And besides, I'll probably close applications once I'm at 8.

If I ever make a sequel to this game when I'm done with MKVL (Mario Kart Victory Lap) how should I handle it? Should I remake the original tracks, or make new ones? Should I make them basic and simple, or give them more obstacles like traditional Mario Kart games? There's a poll down below. This won't determine my final decision, since I might not even make a sequel, but it will give me an idea of what the fans want.
