Just mentioning this, if the SNES Bowser Castle tracks had walls, we wouldn't have that one cool shortcut on BC2.

Take N64 Toad's Turnpike, remove all the vehicles from the track, and the track loses its interest. It's the same here.

To be perfectly honest, I prefer this decision. As a competitive TTer, it gives more room for strategies and in some cases, it saves the track from being just unfun. MKPC was never supposed to be a faithful recreation and I prefer it to stay that way.
What's really a shame is that the yellow ramps in GBA Rainbow Road don't work; it's a shame, we could have had more interesting ghosts to beat.

I completely agree, everything that made it special is gone. I'm not in the heads of competitive players, but I think that even for them it must be more interesting than doing the circuit like a classic circuit, it's really a shame.

I also just realized that in SNES Donut Plains 2, i'm unable to fall in the water at all. It acts as rough terrain and slows me down, but the fact that you can drive over the water just ruins the map for me.
In GBA Yoshi Desert, you are also unable to fall into the water and the "pyramid" should be able to be traversed, like in the original game.

That's very obnoxious, especially as a SMK fan. I hope this is fixed because it really makes me want to avoid these tracks in an otherwise very fun version of the game!
Yes, it's a real shame, especially in Time Trials, imagine the number of crazy ghosts you can get with that.

Désolé si je suis un peu en retard mais je voulais dire mon avis sur la Switch 2.
Switch 1 + quelques améliorations = €500
C'est juste un copier coller de la 1, avec quelques améliorations.
Les jeux? On a Mario Kart World qui coûte €90 et qui a moins de circuits que Mario Kart : Super Circuit (jeu sorti il y a 25 ans sur Game Boy Advance).
Donkey Kong Bananza, je ne sais pas, j'y ai jamais joué, mais j'ai joué à la démo et ça a l'air d'être assez mauvais.
Le design de DK et de Pauline est hideux et il y a de la K-Pop (on ne pouvait pas faire pire).
Ils ont tellement peu d'inspiration ces derniers temps qu'il font des "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition", des jeux Switch 1 mais avec de meilleurs performances et quelques trucs en plus... mais évidemment c'est payant.
Le menu est une véritable copie de la 1.
La Switch 2 a une fonctionnalité révolutionnaire :

Sérieusement, c'est mauvais, ils doivent oublier qu'une application nommée "Discord" existe déjà depuis un moment, et regardez le framerate de l'écran partagé...
Les Joy-Cons? Apparemment il y a du Joy-Con Drift (un défaut des Joy-Cons qui les rendent inutilisables assez rapidement) même sur ces modèles. Il faut vraiment le faire exprès, certains disent même que c'est volontaire de la part de Nintendo juste pour te faire acheter la même manette à plusieurs reprises (c'est fou d'en arriver là quand même).
Et Nintendo le font vraiment exprès, sur les anciennes consoles ils savaient faire des manettes fiables.
L'autonomie?
2 heures environ (et je suis gentil).
C'est très décevant comparé à une 3DS par exemple qui avait environ 4 heures (le double).
Croyez le ou non, mais ma console a planté plusieurs fois dans le menu...

Je pense que la Switch 1 arriverait à faire tourner des jeux GameCube, mais Nintendo a fait ce choix pour vous inciter à acheter la nouvelle console. Aussi, c'est dommage qu'il y ait aussi peu de jeux, et où sont passés Mario Kart : Double Dash !!, Mario Party 4-7, Super Mario Sunshine, ou encore Mario Power Tennis/Mario Golf : Toadstool Tour? Ils seront ajoutés quand les poules auront des dents (jamais ou dans très longtemps)?
Puis aussi, pourquoi on ne peut jouer qu'avec nos amis dans le mode en ligne? Ca aurait pris quelques heures de plus de pouvoir jouer avec tout le monde, mais non, la décision de Nintendo est incompréhensible.
Enfin bref, je vais pas expliquer davantage car mon message commence à être long, mais voilà, n'achetez pas cette console, elle est complètement hors de prix!!

It's just a copy-paste of the first one, with a few improvements.
The games? We have Mario Kart World, which costs €90 and has fewer tracks than Mario Kart: Super Circuit (a game released 25 years ago on Game Boy Advance). Donkey Kong Bananza, I don't know, I've never played it, but I played the demo and it looks pretty bad.
The design of DK and Pauline is hideous, and there's K-Pop (they couldn't have done worse).
They've been so uninspired lately that they're making "Nintendo Switch 2 Editions," Switch 1 games but with better performance and a few extra features... but of course, it costs extra.
The menu is a carbon copy of the original.
The Switch 2 has one revolutionary feature:
GameChat!
What a revolution!
Seriously, it's bad. They must have forgotten that an app called "Discord" has existed for a while now, and look at the split-screen framerate...
The Joy-Cons? Apparently, there's Joy-Con drift (a defect that makes the Joy-Cons unusable quite quickly) even on these models. It's really deliberate; some even say it's intentional on Nintendo's part just to make you buy the same controller repeatedly (it's crazy that it's come to this).
And Nintendo is really doing it on purpose; on older consoles, they knew how to make reliable controllers.
Battery life?
About 2 hours (and I'm being generous).
It's very disappointing compared to a 3DS, for example, which had about 4 hours (twice as long).
Believe it or not, my console has crashed several times in the menu... The GameCube (Nintendo Classics)?
I think the original Switch could run GameCube games, but Nintendo made this choice to push you towards buying the new console. It's also a shame there are so few games, and where are Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Party 4-7, Super Mario Sunshine, or even Mario Power Tennis/Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour? Will they be added when pigs fly (never or in the very distant future)?
And also, why can we only play with our friends in online mode? It would have taken a few more hours to be able to play with everyone, but no, Nintendo's decision is incomprehensible.
Anyway, I won't go into more detail because my message is getting long, but there you have it, don't buy this console, it's completely overpriced!!

Mais oui c'est peut-être le fait que tu étais en tant que invité et comme tu as créé un compte je pense que quand tu as débloqué les personnages en tant que invité ça ne les a pas mis sur ta sauvegarde de ton compte ce qu'il fait qu'il faut que tu recommences c'est vraiment dommage

Merci, mais oui c'est pénible, et même les personnages personnalisés que j'avais téléchargés ont disparus, peut-être que j'avais une sauvegarde corrompue, ou alors peut-être le fait que j'étais en tant qu'invité, mais comme tu le dis je pense pas qu'il soit possible de récupérer la sauvegarde malheureusement, je vais refaire toutes les coupes en espérant que ça ne le refasse pas

Aurais tu quitter le jeu sans sauvegarder ou en pleine sauvegarde c'est la seule explication que je vois
Et malheureusement si c'est le cas tu dois recommencer pour récupérer ses personnages si ce n'est pas le cas je n'ai pas d'autre explication

Peut-être, mais on voit pas quand le jeu sauvegarde, sinon pas de soucis je refais toutes les coupes mais c'est assez difficile. Merci de ta réponse
