Hey guys, I know I've been pretty inactive recently but I'm back... with some pretty cool news!
First up, you may notice that my username has been changed and I'm not Illu or Princess any longer (SPK and IZK will still remain with their names syt). This is nothing special, as I just wanted a less generic name for myself. Ya probably know this already, but Sariyaki is actually a combination of two words: Sariel (the angelgirl thing in my pfp) and yakitori (for some reason me and Lely were talking about yakitori eggs and I decided to use it in my new name haha)
Second, I now have a new BandLab account! I'll be posting songs here quite frequently, so please watch this space for further updates!
Third, I'm developing a platformer! Ya can't have any links or nothing yet since I haven't set that up on my GitHub but I'll post once I'm finished with the assets.
Last but not least, I know I promised myself that I'd publish Shamrock Isle two days prior but today it will be here! Please also watch this space for future SPK tracks!

Yeah you're not surprised I'm posting this lol.
I want to thank you for all the time that I was able to spend here. 10k is such a big number, and I don't care about being first to reach it, I care about the symbolic of it. This journey went on, and me along with it, and I never expected to be that active on here considering I was unsure about creating an account.
I won't spend too much time writing fancy words, because as one good song says "you know that sometimes the simplest words are the best things to say". I just want to thank you for trusting me, and for some, being my friends. I know I'm not the easiest person to deal with, but I'm really thankful that you didn't give up.
I will continue, as much as I can, to talk on this website, remain active and have fun with y'all. And yes, I reached 10k, but that doesn't mean it's the end. Sorry, you'll still have to deal with me for a little while

I've started writing short Gothic texts. Here's one that I think is more or less fine, but since the language I used is kinda graphic and it's a bit scary for younger readers I'll put it in a spoiler (read at your own discretion):
(For context this is set in the city of Hiroshima, Japan, in an unknown year in the 1990s. A girl in her early 20s grows scared of her rather disquieting male friend in his late 20s as she visits his rather strange house in the middle of a random hill in a rural part of the city)
Ever since she entered her friend's abode, strange paraphernalia penetrated the air. It was as though she had been bitten by the Devil himself. She hadn't anticipated such a dreadful phantasmagoria as she beheld the brass door handle; even the dismal alleys leading behind the city into the outskirts seemed appealing in comparison to what was to follow.
She twisted the handle slightly until an almost silent click resonated through the antique, stifled brass, beckoning the girl to enter as though Death himself had summoned her. The floors of the lower floors, though neatly paved, felt like splinters and loose nails beneath the soles of her feet. She felt on edge with every step she took, "walking on eggshells" so the city folk called it, but was that not supposed to be a figurative phrase?
She knew not, then for a brief second she believed that blood was trickling from her forehead as though devils incarnate had etched a Satanic cross atop her scalp.
Above all, she was majorly disquieted, she knew not for why she was still acquainted to such a condescending individual as he, yet as she reached for the brass handle he was standing directly in front of her, as if he had read her mournful, pitiful spiel of thoughts. He always had to get the last word in.
