Anyone interested in a Warhammer fanfic? Not like normal mkpc fanfics, just kind of a short book that I'll post sections of every week. I've been working on it for a while and thought maybe share it here when it's done (planned this before supermario100's topic I'm not trying to steal his thunder lol). It's still not quite ready, but yah, it's coming along nicely.

Okay I'm sorry for the double post but I need to address this.
Y'all have been overreacting so much over the advent calendar this year. I don't know what has changed, but it's an absolute circus every day and it's starting to get on my nerves. Every time any of you notices a flaw in the challenge, or in the track, you immediately somehow feel the blunt need to scream at the track, bash the creator and troll rate.
Every day, there is an argument about the challenges. Every day. Either the challenge is not intuitive enough, either it's too intuitive, either it's too hard, either it's too easy. You are making a foolish show out of yourselves. You complained about the Vanilla Valley Village one because it was too hard (and it was quite easy imo). The people who handled the calendar EXPECTED this, so they had planned easier challenges ( "breaks" ) like the community had recommended them so that there wouldn't be drama. Mario Roll happens, it's a fun, trollish challenge, it's been here since a while, it's quite iconic, it's a meme, an old MKPC meme.
And yet what do you say about it ? You are bashing the whole challenge down. "It's a troll". "It's bad". "It's objectively terrible". You even go as far as to question the mere appartenance that this challenge has to the challenge scene, saying it defies the rules that challenge validators had given. I'm sorry but this challenge is old, so whining isn't going to change anything. Plus it's an absolute goldmine of points for all of you and it's just another completely unserious challenge. So what are you complaining about ? Oh my god ! Look back for a second before continuing on that road, and you will realize that this has some points in common with a Karen's behavior. I'm not saying EVERYONE here is a Karen, I'm not calling any of you a Karen, I'm saying some points are common.
If a blonde, middle-aged woman screamed at the Starbucks workers because the coffee was slightly cold or unflavorful. You'd find it ridiculous, right ?
Well this is exactly what you are doing though ?
You are the embodiment of a customer in this advent calendar. People created challenges, and admins selected 24 of them for you to play and to do a fun Christmas themed event. The people who made the challenges and the admins who created them, can be seen as the ones making the products for you to consume.
Now, it sounds a lot like a customer yelling at a worker because of a minor flaw.
Please think about it.

I'd just like to add a couple things here. Forgive me if some of this restates what lely said
Honestly that Mario roll one was good. It's unusual, takes a little bit of thought, and is very rewarding to complete. It's perfect for the advent calendar. Not saying there should be more challenges like that floating around, but for calendar, it's very good.
And yes everyone just respect the challenges in the calendar. Maybe it's really easy or hard, but each one is chosen for a reason. Treasure hunt was a fun, unique challenge that anyone could do. The koopa battle was a difficult one with lots of rewards. Mario roll was supposed to make you think "oh I get it haha" not "d-mn this thing and whoever made it!" Just think for a sec before you blow up over a video game. They're trying, but you have to acknowledge it's very hard to find 24 perfect challenges for everyone from new players to top-ranking 'veterans'. So yah, think about it .

Are we talkin' a smack in the hiney or a 10-minute session with a metal-buckle belt? Because while the former is a rather effective way of chastising toddlers, the whipping'd just be cruel. Really cruel
Most certainly block of wood/leather belt/bamboo type beat. Belt buckle is too slow. Ask any professional. It hits harder but it's much flimsier to control. It also looks hilarious, & there shouldn't be anything hilarious about punishment. It's definitely not meta.
It's all in the wrist. Not that I've ever practiced using improvised weapons on living beings. In any case, prolonged beating = not cool

Everyone, may I ask, what is your favorite part about Christmas?
I don't celebrate Christmas, but there is a pagan festival in winter around the same time as Christmas (around 20th-22nd December) in which we celebrate the forthcoming of the god of ice, snow etc. (Before you accuse me of making this up cause it's not on the Internet, please keep in mind that each pagan's individual beliefs are different and that pagan traditions are usually ethnically separated)
It's essentially the same idea as Christmas, we receive gifts, we wish each other good for the coming year ahead, we celebrate some divine bugger from the Heavens coming down to Earth to bless us, we offer them sacrifices... yeah it's just a 'pagan Christmas' I guess you could say (more of a W holiday than Christmas in my humble opinion though)
But Christianity is a W religion (imo) so Christmas is better.

Maybe you should let him exist if he misbehaves it's gonna be ban hammer for him anyway. If he actually exposes anything personal there will be consequences. As long as he knows this he should behave. For the moment this just seems like another example of brotherly bickering.
