I'm pretty sure this happens to everybody. I have recently experienced two power outages, due to snow and storms breaking power lines and blowing up transformers.

Lakitu: Last time on Toad-al Drama Crossover; the teams merged, and the game was now individual. With no more safety nets, Birdo was voted out of the game. Now with five more episodes to go, the competition's heating up. Who will be eliminated next on Toad-al! Drama!
The sky turns dark and the ground starts shaking.
Lakitu: Uh, what's going on?
*intro plays*
Fury Bowser stomps onto the scene, with the crew cowering in fear.
[b]Bowser: For three seasons, I've been beaten, mistreated, and robbed of a clean victory. I've tried playing fair, but it's obviously not working, AND I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF TRYING! HAND ME THE MILLION![/b]
Lakitu: You see, I can't just hand it to you. The rulebook clearly states that-
[b]Bowser: YOU WORK FOR ME! YOUR CONTRACT SAYS THAT YOU MUST DO WHATEVER I SAY OR BE THROWN INTO THE LAVA PITS![/b]
Lakitu: And as a contestant on my show, your contract states that no matter how much you bribe me, you cannot receive the grand prize unless you win the final challenge.
Bowser grabs Lakitu by the throat.
Lakitu: Of course, since you're no longer competing, that contract is null and void, he-he. Can you let me go now?
[b]Bowser: If I don't get a million-coin check by the end of the day, you can say goodbye to your arcade, and anyone inside it.[/b]
Lakitu: You're not getting anything.
Bowser takes Lakitu to his lair and ties him up.
[b]Bowser: ATTENTION PLAYERS! THIS ARCADE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! UNLESS YOUR HOST HANDS ME THE MONEY, DEMOLITION STARTS TOMORROW MORNING! DO AS MUCH AS YOU WANT ON YOUR LAST DAYS![/b]
Luigi: Well, this is it. We're all dead men.
Sticks: Don't think like that. The arcade has an exit. We can just escape through there.
Amy: But then there won't be a game.
Sonic: Amy's right. Escaping isn't enough. We need to stop that monster before he does any more damage.
Peach: But where would he be?
Daisy: At his lair. Duh.
Sonic: Then what are we waiting for? Follow me.
Sonic zooms out of the building leaving everyone else behind.
Daisy: SERIOUSLY?
Sticks: Yep. That's our hero.
Hours later, Sonic finds Bowser's lair. He tries to spin dash into him, but is knocked out unconscious.
Lakitu: You said you would only destroy the arcade.
[b]Bowser: Yeah, and anyone who was inside the arcade.[/b]
Lakitu: News flash: Sonic's not in the arcade!
[b]Bowser: I was gonna serve you as a barbecue for my kids, but now that I think about, you'd make a much better castle jester.[/b]
Lakitu: I hope the others are okay.
Daisy sprouts out of a pipe, followed by the other players.
Lakitu: I'm sorry I abandoned you guys, I just didn't wanna remove the whole reason you're playing.
Amy: We'll talk later. First we gotta deal with this guy.
Daisy: Wait!
Players: WHAT?
Daisy: Give him the money! That's all he's here for.
Lakitu: I can't do that! No more cash, no more game.
Sticks: We'll play for bragging rights!
Lakitu: Fine... he can have it. YOU CAN HAVE IT, BOWSER!
Bowser looks in disbelief, takes the brief case, and makes his way to the arcade.
Lakitu: WHAT THE HELL? I GAVE YOU THE MONEY!
The players untie Lakitu and try to race him there, but it's too late. They all watch the arcade burn to the ground.
Luigi: Now what?
Lakitu: Well... we're not calling off the season yet. The stakes may have been lowered, but the game is still on!
Everyone cheers before Amy asks a question.
Amy: What about Sonic.
Lakitu: Seeing as he's no longer in any condition to play a game as brutal as this, I've sent some people to warp him back to Green Hill... as for you watching at home... yeah, I've got nothing. Just stay tuned for another exciting episode of Toad-al! Drama! Crossover!
