I don't watch a lot of YouTube but as a TOTK geek Top Gaming Plays is good

It's quite understandable that you want that, but when you think about it

1) That's too many items for mkpc tracks. They're just so thin and some of them are very short

2) Some of those items are to powerful for mkpc. Boom box and fireflower would be impossible to block or avoid, to name just two

3) All these new items'd be a pain to program. Even if some of the individual ones were simple, the large numbers of new items would be difficult to do.

4) As some of the others said, some of these items would mess up time trial scores. In addition, more powerful items would make grand prix easier, and the people who've already completed those have a problem with that.

Hello, I am 40KsKool68, a warhammer addict who uses an out-of-date tribute in his nickname and makes terrible custom tracks. You may occasionally see me rearing my head from the murky depths to ask dumb questions or make sarcastic comments to people who are misbehaving.

I love my life.

1. Pop - Some bands/singers are very hit or miss, but in general this is a great genre with plenty of good content and it deserves the top spot. 4.5/5

2. Metal - Kinda new to this but already I love it. Some is pretty dirty and I avoid it like the plague but there's still very good stuff here. In fact I put the lyrics of an entire song by Sabaton in my profile... Sabaton is cool. They do a sort of ballad-but-metal thing that's just perfect 4.5/5

3. (Almost) Anything with chanting - I just love chanting. It's just a thing I do! While it's not really a genre chants make good mood music (for me) and some are really awesome. 4/5

4. Orchestra - It deserves respect. Plus this includes some really good themes from movie songs. Nice to listen to when you don't want to be distracted by beat or lyrics. 4/5

5. Rock - yah there's some good stuff here.

6. Country - Some of these are ok, but in general it's not my style (sorry mom).

7. K-pop - Invu forgive me, I listened to just a little bit of this, and unleashed exterminatus on a previously-unknown planet on the eastern fringe... maybe it was just the band? Dunno. In any case I never returned to find out. It was... just not my thing.

Odd that pop and k-pop should be on opposite ends of this list. Perhaps reanalysis is needed. Anyways that's it for now. These are not firmly locked-in-place rankings but most are pretty close. Hope you enjoyed reading!

Just think how little tech would have evolved without them (and their war). Maybe that alone isn't worth what happened, but the mistakes of the past have taught many countries a lesson and helped unite us. Since they had to exist, see the silver lining.

Eh that was discussed a while back. Fire flower would be fun but it's too overpowered for this game.

It honestly seems a bit difficult to pull off. But if you want to try it, just go ahead. You'll probably get at least a few submissions . And if it doesn't work you can try tweaking the original idea. Maybe a prompt a week or something like that if people want more time for each track.

Anyway it does sound fun . Wish I still had time to participate in these things 😥

Definitely true. It's a good idea, but there's lots of evidence for this never happening.


Coding, sprites, retro feel, as the others have said, these all make it nearly impossible to do kart parts. Also part of the fun of the game is to be able to use any characters you want, with any kart you want, and not have to worry about your choices affecting your stats. So it's not going to happen.
