Ranking every Super Mario 64 stage (2022 edit)
On 2022-10-16 at 22:10:28
I done this a while ago, but today, I needed to do it again. My opinions evolved, I can express betterly how I feel and, chery on top, I lost Super Mario 3D All-Stars one year ago, but I'm in a SM64 phase right now, so I want to rank them. The old list was poorly written and didn't express how I truly did feel about the stages, so are you ready ? Let's do this.
15 - Tick-Tock Clock
TTC is truly frustrating, and you can't even deny it. It comes very late in the game, being the 14th level out of 15, so obviously things are harder than anywhere else. I understand what Nintendo tried to do here, but the execution is just not fun. And when I say "the execution is unfun", I mean it. The star's concepts were very solid (the classic one when you first try the level, and get a pretty easy star, the one who is a little bit more dangerous, the one where you have to use a certain element to reach a secret alcove, the one where you climb at the very top, using every of TTC's mechanics to finally reach a lonely Thwomp, and where you need to carefully stomp on him in order to get that shiny yet deadly star. The concept of the changing speed depending on when you enter the clock is really interesting. So now, you're going to ask me "so why is this level ranked last ?" Well, it has useless fog effects that just complicates the level, it also feels very cramped, and if the time is not still, the chances of you resting are very little ; plus falling off TTC is more frustrating than in any level : in Rainbow Ride for example, it's also very frustrating, but there's actual platforming, there's areas that feel like areas. Tick-Tock Clock is just a mess. Plus, you feel very cgi, which means yo ufeel like you have no control with your life. Some elements are always moving when you're on them and it feels like the game is trolling you. So yes, I actually despise TTC for its frustrating execution.
14 - Rainbow Ride
This one is the last level of the game, and it's exactly like TTC, but it fixes some of TTC's problems. It doesn't feels cramped, you can actually rest. There's also actual platforming, you don't feel like you're always in danger. However, it's still very frsutrating and the carpet is super boring. The house sounds myserious, but you can end up stucked.
But I'm not even attempting the 100 coin star.
So, Rainbow Ride is like TTC, but with a better execution. However, the concept is not as interesting as TTC's one, which means there can be a debate with myself to decide which level is the best, depending on my mood.
13 - Dire Dire Docks
A truly interesting and myserious concept (first off, you fall from the sky, right into the water. It feels like Bowser's personal bay, with a lot of enemeies, some chests, a whirlpool, and a "geyser". It also has a weird tunnel with arrows, Bowser's submarine and cages. The french name, Affreux Bassin, makes that feeling even more obvious. Plus, the submarine moves once you have beaten Bowser.
Dire Dire Docks appear as the ninth level of the game, which is the last level of the basement.
The basement had you exploring brand new locations (a cave, a lava sea, a desert and that Bowser's personal lair.) and tbh, it felt more original than the first levels, yet the first levels are ranked very high on this list. Anyways, Dire Dire Docks has also a few problems. Y'all are saying that DDD is JRB 2, but I don't think so. The concept is different, and the execution is different, everything is harder. Don't forget, JRB is level 4 while DDD is level 9. You clearly notice the difficulty range. However, the 100 coin star is terrible, th echest mission is just not that good, the manta mission neither, the mission that goes on Bowser's submarine is good but not stunning, the other one in the bay sounds frustrating, theo ne that has you going through the geyser rings is okayish, but a bit bland, and the vanish metal cap one is the only one I consider actually exciting.
I'll be continuing this later.

So the 100 coin stars are a key factor in your level enjoyment and you find waiting for 12 oclock tedious for Tick Tock Clock?
There's not much stars you can complete at 12

Put Your Ideas for MK9 Here (Nitros, Retros, DLC(?), character roster, battle modes)
On 2022-10-30 at 18:31:42
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad (9 different skins), Tanooki Mario, Wario, Waluigi and Mii.
Characters (Unlockable)
Baby Mario - Get 1st on GCN Baby Park
Tanooki Luigi - Get 1st on Tanooki Speedway
Funky Kong - Find Funky Kong on Wii Maple Treeway
Make your own character - Get 1st, 2nd and 3rd 500 times
"Make your own character" - how would this work, there are miis already.
Once you have unlocked it, click Make your own character in the title screen and make a character. Example: Mario with Funky Kong's head.
That would be cool
Not really, how would that work ? Couldn't that be messy ? And hard ? Wouldn't it lack accessibility ? Very bad idea
imo

@Happy_lemon_cat OK
I mean, everybody IS going seriously off-topic (I mean, come on, talking about a 9-year-old saying random stuff in a PREDICTIONS topic? Honestly?)
I mean, everybody IS going seriously off-topic (I mean, come on, talking about a 9-year-old saying random stuff in a PREDICTIONS topic? Honestly?)
We are going off-topic, but because some people started it (the one who responded it was weird without developing why, then Max) also this is not a prediction topic, but this is an idea topic, where predictions are also allowed, so that's why I think people have the right to give MK9 as a title if it's an idea. Difference between the two : predictions are something that is realistic, while ideas can be anything

Why? Just... why?
Note that you are answering a 9-year-old kid, so it's a bit normal for him to say this kind of stupid stuff, once he wanted to make a news story about his dog who was poisoned, it was so stupid and ridiculous that was funny (check Space for Anything)
Another time he was saying the country of Nepal needed to be removed.
Let's stop talking about Ashton, he's maybe annoying but it's kinda humiliating him when what he has done this time is just suggesting an idea, no need to bash him for that Max-Bros

As I mentioned in the previous topic, the number 9 is bad luck in Japan, so I think it's MK10 instead of MK9.
Why would it necessarily be called MK9, or even MK10 as you said ? Nintendo made two games with this formula, but they could also give it an original name, or simply the name of the console where you can play it.
Anyways let's not debate about the title of the next Mario Kart, I remember debates about this when I arrived on MKPC, seriously debating about this is completely pointless and its very annoying

What in the BTS is that
That sounds like a great idea in a Mario Kart of your dreams... but when you think to it, it's so problematic in many ways. There's so many issues.
First, how would that work? Also, it would be hard to manage, do you draw the character itself or is there tools to help you? And anyways, wouldn't that get... messy ? And Mario with Funky's Kong head sounds absolutely weird. Anyways, as people said, creating your own Mii is already fine

This was last messaged in 2016.
Why are you reviving this topic?
Your interaction was useless here. And this topic was political at the time, and it died for a reason, first, that's not the actuality,
but the way it was executed was bad. This topic could have been a proper debate but it ended up being kinda immature, most of the people were doing death threats to the killers, or were insulting them, there was no constructive debate, there was just anger.
So why did you revive this topic ? To get free messages ?
A recreation for An idea for PM's.

MKPC CTGP: BIG NEWS + FAQ

I like CTGP
Which one ? Nitro, Revolution, 7, U ? Can we know at least ? Or do you like THIS CTGP ? That's pretty unclear.

I din't ask
I don't think I've ever seen a more stupid sentence tbh. Creating topics for followers only, or for the people you follow is bad in my opinion. I was maybe rude, but hey, I didn't disrespect you, I expressed my opinion in an angry way, I have the goth to do this
Who tf told you you have the right to say you didn't ask for other people's opinions? You're creating a topic. As long as we don't disrespect you, we have the right to express our opinion.

On a sous estimé Bowser ?
On 2022-10-30 at 18:49:02

How do all of you draw your complete mode tracks?
On 2022-10-29 at 10:32:12
Pixilart : A simple yet very solid website where drawing tracks is easier, you don't need a lot of experience to do good, so that's more accessible. However, if you want textures, you have to make them by yourself, and the tracks will be kinda pixelated (except uf you're called Ahmad15)
Paint.net : A way more complex website, that offers more possibilities, but way harder to manage as well. You can make tracks with texture, clean layouts, and use different tools to draw. But you have to download it. And that requires patience.
MS Paint : a very simple website, you probably already have it, it's more complex than pixilart but less complex than Paint.net.

-Can't use scratch
-For older kids
-Is a download
I wish for a track painter!
Don't old topics, we already told you
And for Scratch the site exists
No. I'm NEVER using scratch. I use Construct 3.
Why do your parents forbid you to use Scratch ? And why are you being agressive ? Paint.net exists, but you have to download it and that requires patience

Une nouvelle tournure ? ! PROPOSITION !
On 2022-10-31 at 15:42:01
On 2022-10-30 at 20:48:03
