I'm just wondering, what paint editor do you use to make your Complete Mode tracks (if you use Complete Mode)?
I use the paint editor on Scratch [scratch.mit.edu] usually the editor on the website but sometimes the offline editor of versions 1.4 and 2.0. Sometimes I use MS Paint to touch up my tracks

I use scratch a lot, but not for complete mode tracks.

I use Pixilart, it's free online so it's a great option
It does make tracks look a little pixelated though
