When a challenge is too easy, it no longer becomes a "challenge". It's more of a task and requires little to no skill at all. (eg Complete the Track) In the example there is nothing to increase the difficulty of the challenge, so defeats the purpose of making a challenge. (obviously if the course is hard then it's an exception) For these type of challenges to be accepted you need to add some conditions that make the gameplay a little harder and more interesting.

Ikt but I've seen a few challenges that ask you to test the course. It's literally in the rules.

Thats because different challenge validators do things differently. I personally reject them because they are ridiculously easy, but other validators might accept them.
It could also just be old challenges you are looking at

I agree, a "toi meme" challenge was considered impossible and allowed you to win 20 points while it was super easy, because it could be taken as a joke considering people made good use of challenges. Now people make any use of the challenges so ridiculously easy challenges were rejected...

Somebody rejected my challenge even though it  was hard (at 999cc), I don't know what to do!

What's the reason they gave for declining it and what was the challenge in the first place? Maybe they were right, maybe you could have a discussion with them to tell them your point of view and see theirs. It could lead to a good outcome. Can you send a screenshot please ?

I think that's annoying, because he just say "Find the Red Star". That's annoying. When you reach the red star, you fall. And there are no hints. That's very annoying, it's luck and hope. Good question, and don't worry I don't get angry. I appreciate the feedback actually.

When I say no hints, the challenge literally asks for "find the zone" and doesn't tell you what the zone actually is. They don't really appear now because a lot of them get rejected.

The challenge was released before I wrote the topic and there wasn't really any proper guidelines for accepting and rejecting at the time. When people didn't like the rejection outcome and the validators had to explain themselves it got a little annoying if it was an obvious decision.

Mudky's challenge does give a hint of where you are supposed to go, even though actually reaching the target isn't as self-explanatory (hence why it is rated difficult).

The challenges I talk about in regards to rule 5 are just random spots with no indication. As I said in the original post as well is that it can be used by the creator to gain free challenge points, especially when they ask for an impossible rating.

Recently the validators have also been asking each other for opinions to keep consistency so hopefully we don't encounter too many problems.

I do appreciate you coming forward and asking me about this. If you have any more questions I would be happy to answer. ;)


On this circuit you say you'll not validate challenges anymore because there are a lot (15 around) but I already say tracks with more challenges. Like BUP, Bathaniel Nandy...

And litterally the red star challenge is still annoying but "Secret in Bob-Omb Battlefield" is purely ridiculous. This is a giant level, and you must found a secret, so go to all the cannons, go to all the secrets. Anywhere that can be. So...

Y'all weren't really ACTIVELY message farming but you did partake in a topic named "Turn the replies into a school fight" which is definitely useless, immature and once again, turns attention away from actually interesting topics about the game, or Mario Kart games, etc.

Track Of The Day/Week

Hello! Today I decided to break the rules and showcase a recent and popular track, but only because I want to help it truly blow up and get all of the recognition it deserves. This one is for the books as well and might definitely go down in history. What happens when seven GREAT creators unite to make one track? You must now be thinking the track I'm going to showcase is huge, over-the-top... But it's not.

It's Baby Park.

Before any of you start thinking it really can't be that good and it really can't be all that, try out the track for yourself, it'll prove you wrong. The simplicity of the track allows for the most important piece to truly shine through: showcasing the different artstyles of the seven different creators. Indeed, all of the creators had to put their own spin on a short 15-second oval layout. Yet they all went for something different, while still keeping the track cohesive and grounded.

I hope you all can have fun on this track and give it the recognition it deserves ;) Promise we will go back to underrated hidden gems after this one

Sorry for my LONG absence. I had exams and then kind of wasn't sure what to pick as showcase. Today, I am here with a difficult track, so buckle up.

It is quite popular, but I'm not sure many people know it as of today - as it was released in 2025. It is Limbo by @Puff_with_a_gun. It's admittedly one of the hardest MKPC tracks to play, but I believe it's worth it. Both visually and in terms of gameplay, the track can appear as overwhelming and confusing - but that's also its charm. It will throw you off at first, but once you get used to it, it is truly an experience. Most MKPC tracks never reach the "experience" stage - you play them, you have fun, you learn the strats, you grind, that's it. But some tracks manage to truly make a lasting impression, and this one's for the books. It is truly unlike any other track you have seen before - I can guarantee you that. If you are a Geometry Dash fan, you should 100% check it out!! This is what happens when dedication and effort meets passion and creativity. Will you dare to try it out? ;)  I won't spoil any more and let you see for yourself.

Y'all are used to a particular type of Bowser Castle: lava, pillars, firebars, a Bowser statue somewhere and Thwomps. There have been different executions of this base, making each of the renditions interesting. However today, I am here with a completely different type of Bowser Castle. The track itself is Bowser Castle 2 by @KerNL. You start the track out in front of a castle which you wil enter. Watch out as enemies crush to the ground. After that, you will get to the outside part of the castle, in which you will have to avoid wrecking balls in the air and on the floor! Shortly after, use a half-pipe to get to the other side of the road! Then, enter a room that fills up with pink fireballs every lap around a Bowser statue floating above the void. If you're playing in VS, try your best in the ending stretch to gain as much ranks as you can by using speed items in the offroad if you have some.

I chose to showcase this track today as it truly strays away from what you would expect from a regular Bowser Castle track, not only by its very unique color scheme, that is much darker, and leads more towards black, dark grey and purple than light grey, red, brown and orange, but also by its gameplay, its unique enemies, and its gimmicks. The track constantly keeps you hooked. It also has a great replay value. Hope you have fun on it! :D

Hello again everyone! I'm here today for my second showcase, which is GBA Rainbow Road by @TheNudgyHampter. Indeed, I believe the track went rather unnoticed, as it only has 12 views and 3 comments, most of the views being from people who discovered it while playing CTGP-PC BG. This track is a remake of a track most of y'all have already played from the base game, however I believe this version is much more interesting. You see, the base game track couldn't have jumps because it completely fucked up with the checkpoints... but that took all the essence of the original track away. So today, I'm here with a version of GBA Rainbow Road that does have jumps but also plays well! They aren't bordering the entire track like they are on the original version, but many of them are still present, allowing you to take shortcuts by jumping over the void! :D

I decided to showcase this track for its familiarity and its gimmick but also for its visuals. I believe they are of really good quality. I hope you all will have as much fun on this track as I did :)

Many of the more experienced players want newer players to play the game more, whether it's TT, online mode, lounges or track creation. The thing is, I believe that in the current state of things, the forum is way more pushed on the home page as it is quite literally the first thing you see. Besides that, the base game tracks can be pretty hard to drive on, as they are quite thin, and  in my opinion can get quite boring after some time (no offense obviously).

As a solution to that, I have decided to create this topic. How will things work?

Simple, every once in a while (probably not every day cause I'm a high schooler and have other passions than MKPC), I'll send a custom track that I find particularly good and give you guys reasons to play the track. This will allow you guys to discover custom tracks that you can have fun on, and maybe even inspire you to make your own!

Today, I'm kicking off things with a rather simple-to-understand and easily sight-readable track, Toad Town, made by Nodac64. It is pretty popular and part of CTGP-PC But Good, with 23 vews and an high average of 4.83/5. It's a fun, bright, colorful track that takes you inside a town populated by Toads, and around said town. Drive through little houses, then into a cave, and jump over bridges! Be careful not to fall down, or you'll have to drive back to the place you jumped from. Not the second time though, there's an invisible jump to allow you to keep going on. ;) I hope you'll have a lot of fun playing this track, it's quite easy to drive on and very lively visually. There are also some shortcuts which I'm hoping you will find! :)

Nah, and many MKPC players have remade the tracks from scratch or from a Google image already anyways
