What is your best track overall?
On 2020-08-23 at 20:59:55
2 things. First, I assume you're talking about MK8DX, 200cc. Second, if you're that close to WR, what's the full time?
On 2020-08-23 at 20:03:30
I'll help out if you want. But which would you say is your best time?

So I've seen PinkMercy22 make a topic about people's best times in Mario Kart Wii, so I thought: Why not go one better? So time to ask what you consider your best track in ANY official Mario Kart game (Because I could easily any track I hold world record in this game and I want to keep things interesting.
Let's start off with me - SNES Mario Circuit 2 (3DS remake). I currently hold the best known 1lap time on this track with a time on 20.814, and have a top 10 WW time without using the strat known as pasta, my final time being 1:11.315 (currently 75th WW including pasta times).

I will make my own guide soon that should make everything a lot easier. Look out for that.

I want to make my own guide for new/inexperienced players but I'm not too sure. Should I?
I think if you create your guide, he can be better (or the best) than some guide on MKPC.
Alright, I'll see what I can do.

When drifting, you dont have to always make it to the yellow sparks; you can use the blue sparks too
Nah, mini turbos are better than super mini turbos in this game. You use super mini turbos only in very tight turns like on Mario Circuit 3
And Waluigi Pinball.

I know, I just wanted to put in my own thoughts.

I disagree with the stuff about not needing rules for items. Most of the time, especially in 1st, you don't want to use them aggressively. Always use them as defence. Besides, Lightning has one rule - always target shock 1st place.
When in 1st, you always want a banana behind you, as it can half the hitstun given out by bob-ombs or blue shells.
Also you're not going very in-depth about drifting. There's a lot more to it than just using the blue boosts, as orange ones come in useful on some tracks (e.g. Waluigi Pinball)

What's Your Favorite Mario Game?
On 2019-10-25 at 03:01:28
Since most of you mentioned Mario Kart, I think I can get away with mentioning another spin-off game. Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is, and will probably always be, the best Mario game for me. I see no problems with it whatsoever
Mario Kart PC: Time Trial Cards

Because I am loser and I am never the first or top 50 of scoreboard.
Well it's a place to improve, not to be the best. Keep going at it and you'll be a better player overall. I know you can do it
What is your least favorite mario kart item
On 2020-08-23 at 19:26:39
It annoys him In the MK7 community he's the only one who calls it spiny shell so we used to do it on purpose
On 2020-08-23 at 18:40:42
Blue Shells, sir.
On 2020-08-18 at 20:03:59
POW block. People forget this item straight up sucks, there are too many of them in MK Wii. Same with the thunder cloud. It hurts the player who uses it!?!
POW Block's situational at best, and can be a problem if you don't know how to counter it. Thundercloud gives you a speed boost so it's easier to give it to someone else. Both of these items have their uses.

hate the coin, sure the coin gives u speed and easier to get parts, BUT u lose like 4 coins when u get hit by something
You lose half of what you previously had, until 6. Then you just lose 3 each time. The coin gives you 2 coins so you're not losing much.

i like all items except
BLUE SHELL
blue shell has to die
BLUE SHELL
blue shell has to die
You like the Thundercloud, an item that literally harms the user, more than the Blue Shell?
You'll always get the Thundercloud in a scenario where you can pass it to another player. Unless you somehow get it in first, you should never really get hit by your own thundercloud.
Not always. I've seen people get it when there's literally nobody around them, and usually if there ARE people around you, it's extremely difficult to pass it off, and if you DO, there's still a possibility you'll get it passed back to you.
But that shouldn't happen. The speed boost means once they have the TC they'll be ahead of you; they should try to catch up instead of slow down to give it back to you.

Okay, let's run through all the items in the game that people consider the worst.
Green shell: It bounces off walls, is a good offensive and defensive item, how is this bad exactly?
POW Blocks: These can halt everyone's progress if they don't know exactly how to cancel them. And it can throw players off even when you cancel the hit, so it's still useful if you use it at the right time.
Bananas: Only real use is defence. It doesn't move when dropped and is easily avoided because of how small it is. However, drop it on a shortcut and it's harder to avoid, and in this game it's a lot more useful as it can half the impact of Blue Shells and Bob-ombs.
Coins: Each coin collected makes you slightly faster, so if you get hit getting 2 coins back is kinda useful, especially when early on (on average 10 coins saves you 1 second per lap compared to 0). Also they help you unlock the better parts in MK8D so there's that.
Thundercloud: You get a speed boost so you can catch up to someone more easily and pass it on to them.
Blue Shell: It seems like a good item but unless you can smuggle this to 2nd place it's not actually helping you, it's helping 2nd. And until MK8 you couldn't counter it without smuggling a power item (or in MKWii's Mushroom Gorge you could dodge by hitting a mushroom at the perfect time) so it makes being in first a nightmare.
Tanooki Leaf: Honestly not as bad as you make it out to be, other than looking weird on a kart. It can block items and deflect bananas, as well as being a secondary hop to make shortcuts easier while preserving your drift.
Bloopers: Well, here's the worst item. All of the others have decent uses, but if you're at least somewhat experienced at the game the blooper does nothing normally. Only on MK8DX, 200cc on specific tracks can you see that it makes your wheels more slippery. Otherwise it's barely noticeable. Long story short, if you avoid 200cc like the plague, the Blooper does nothing.
