Tell me what to do.
On 2020-10-05 at 21:49:51
So, following the announcement made by the player most commonly known as Vlone, I want to say that I'm having the same thoughts. Let me explain:
I've never felt like I belonged here in MKPC. A French dominated community meant that I was always an outcast in people's eyes. I never really saw my place. And nowhere is that more apparent than the competitive scene.
The competitive is, as is the entire game, run by the French. There was essentially no-one to support me as I rose through the ranks, as I'm British, which no top-level player had ever been, and I cannot change that. Even now, 2 years later, I feel like I'm looked down upon by the entire French side of the community, simply because of my origins.
I don't wish to expose the competitive scene as one of the most toxic player bases in all gaming, there are some extremely nice people there. However in my eyes, I can't help but feel as if that's because all their anger's directed towards me.
I believe I've failed in what I was meant to do - prove to the world that you don't have to be French/French-Canadian to be a top tier player. I kept playing for that sole purpose, and never succeeded. In fact, I got overshadowed by another. @CG_dedmenwalk did it for me. I have no purpose in this community anymore, and feel as if it would be best if I left for good.
However, as always, my opinion doesn't matter. If you guys want me out, just say so.
ZeKirio? Thank you for making me realise how much I've damaged this game's reputation. Have a good time being the untouchable god of MKPC, you arrogant piece of living trash.

Considering the fact that the first post on here was "I'm having boy problems" do you really think talking to another one is gonna help?
What is the first game you ever played?
On 2020-09-23 at 14:16:40
I remember my first ever game was New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I remember that I always wanted to be player 2 (because Luigi just kind of called to me, I guess), but I would move the characters around on the map screen. I remember I liked to bubble myself, then run over and press the other Wiimote's A buttons to bubble them too. I had a few other great games as well, like Mario Kart Wii, Mario Sports Mix, and Mario Super Sluggers, but I specifically remember New Super Mario Bros. Wii being first.
Also, I think I first saw the game first at some age between 4-6.

Just as I was about to comment New Super Mario Bros Wii, I see this. It was either this, or Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, but NSMBW was the first game I played properly. I should probably go back and complete it some time

Talking about Mario Kart 7
On 2020-09-23 at 19:24:35
I think Mario Kart 7 is a great game. It has great and creative tracks, some of which I think are the most underrated in Mario Kart History (Wario Shipyard is a really good example). Wiggler is really cool, and a lot of the new karts are really cool too.
But...I don't think it's the best game in the series, despite what some of you might say.
First, the new characters. While Wiggler's amazing, and Lakitu is pretty cool, Honey Queen and Metal Mario are honestly pretty lame. I know I'm going to anger a lot of people with this, but I really don't like Metal Mario. He had a cool theme in Super Mario 64, but he's a clone. He's Mario with a silver texture and a different voice. I just really don't get why people like him more than Wiggler. And Honey Queen? She shouldn't be here. Who thought it was a good idea to put a character who appeared in a total of 2 games before hand over Waluigi, a fan favorite character? Because whoever came up with that idea needs to be fired. To make things even worse, they have Waluigi Pinball in the game, but no Waluigi! How does that make any sense!?
Second, this is a bit nitpicky, but the tricks in the game are kinda boring. Almost all of them are practically the same thing: the first trick is them putting their hand in the air, then the second is them doing a similar thing to the camera. MKWii and MK8 both had much more exciting and distinct tricks for every character.
Lastly, the battle mode...kinda sucks. Coin Battle is somehow worse than in MKWii, you can't customize a lot of things about the battles themselves, and the arena selection...could be better. Big Donut is far better than the N64 version, Wuhu Town is pretty cool, GBA BC1 is pretty fun, and I think Honeybee Hive and Palm Shore are just...okay. But, from my experience, Sherbet Rink isn't very fun, especially compared to all the others.
And if you say "it's a portable game, of course there's less stuff than console games" or something along those lines, I'll point to MKDS. It's also a portable, but it has a more content than MK7, despite being on inferior hardware. It has a mission mode, a VS mode, a customizable emblem, and I personally think it has better tracks than MK7. I'm not saying every track in DS is better, but DS's best tracks (Waluigi Pinball, Airship Fortress, Luigi's Mansion) are better than Mk7's best.
In summary, I like MK7, but I wouldn't call it the best in the series. It has its flaws, and it's honestly kinda underwhelming, especially compared to MKDS, the last portable Mario Kart.
What are your thoughts on Mario Kart 7?
(Man, I struggle with making essays in school, but out of school I can make stuff like this.)

I agree that the tricks are lacklustre, but also that it's a very minor nitpick that doesn't really subtract from the game. I wish they tried a little harder with this to give the characters more personality.
However, I have a rebuttal for the MKDS point. While yes, MKDS is a more content-filled game, it's also a simpler game. No tricks (even though that didn't take up much processing power), glider or underwater, as well as less ghosts for time trials. From game mechanics alone, MKDS had more room to create extra content then MK7.
Also, having Waluigi Pinball but no Waluigi isn't that big of a crime anymore, since MK8 had 2 F-Zero tracks but Captain Falcon is still unplayable.
The game's shortcomings are definitely there, but since there are major issues with all of the other games it manages to stand on top despite it.

Who is the strongest fighter in Smash Bros? (3DS/Wii U)
On 2020-08-27 at 18:45:52
I think it is Robin
Far from it. Robin has a lot of flaws.
1. Robin is the slowest character in the game in terms of run speed, so his mobility is far below average.
2. His frame data sucks, all his moves come out extremely slow and he's only beaten in this category by Shulk. That says a lot.
3. His special attack tomes and Levin Sword are limited use and take time to recharge afterwards. Since most of his kill power comes from these moves, having to either save them or wait for them to be used again.
There was only really one good Robin player in top-level play, that being Nairo, but even then he didn't use Robin much.
So? It's my opinion
I'm sorry I didn't answer this earlier but we're looking at the strongest character, not your favourite. You have to put your opinion aside in this topic and look objectively.

Freaking Little Mac
Wdym? Little Mac can't make it back onto the stage, he sucks
he may be little be he's strong asf
He's a boxer so his moves are strong
Yes, his moves are strong on the ground. You ever tried killing with any of his aerial attacks? Even his KO Punch is extremely weak in the air. That's why he's a low-tier character; smash bros isn't just about being on the ground. Little Mac can't be in the air or else he'll lose any interaction. Put him against characters like Meta Knight or Jigglypuff, who thrive in the air, and he has no chance.

Does a dlc player count?
Well we said that Bayonetta's the strongest in the game, so yes.

Off-topic, but no

If we talk in all seriousness Bayonetta have the most destruction potential. She destroyed the tier list upon her arrival back in the day.
Upon ARRIVAL? Ryubix. Listen to me. She's the only character in smash history to receive heavy nerfs and still maintain her spot as the best in the game. Smash 64 Pikachu, Melee Fox and Brawl MK all became mid-tiers are getting nerfed, but not Bayonetta.
Also to clear up the confusion, when someone says "best character" we're specifically referring to top level play. The tier lists always talk about how good characters are when you are playing them as good as you possibly can, and thus bases it off tournament results as well as matchups against every other character. This is why Meta Knight was considered overpowered in Brawl, since he had no losing matchups against anyone in the cast, and dominated every tournament.
Bayonetta isn't that bad at low level, she's hard to play properly due to her entire gameplan being long combos. But since the tier list centres around top level play, difficulty isn't a factor. It's just "What does this character have, how can it be used against everyone" and having 0-death combos galore + a broken counter and insane recovery (albeit die to a glitch) is more than enough to make her the most broken in smash 4
On 2019-10-24 at 23:14:43
Also quick side note: If you're talking the strongest character in terms of attack, that would be my main Ganondorf. His neutral B is the second strongest move in the game, he has the 2 strongest spikes, And all of his moves kill super early compared to the moves of other characters.
On 2019-10-24 at 23:08:15
@SMG777 coming from the standpoint of a competitive gamer, Bayonetta's easily the best character in the game, topping almost every tier list of the current patch.
Now, I don't main Bayonetta, I don't even have her because using her is just unfair. But if you look at any professional player who uses her, you'll see she has no weaknesses. Amazing recovery, insane kill power (combined with having some of the strongest spikes in the game), her combos can kill you at 0% and also she has the best move in the game - Witch Time.
You know a character's broken if some tournaments considered banning her. Yep, Spain discussed outright banning players from using Bayonetta. That's how powerful she is. Basically, she's one of the most OP smash bros characters out there, second only to Brawl Meta Knight.
