Spoilers are deserved for unironically playing Miitopia period.

This would break every custom track ever. Especially since World's wallriding has limitations that we wouldn't be able to replicate (for example, you slide down walls over time in World, since there's not really a "down" in MKPC there'd be nothing to prevent you from wallriding forever. And that's only one of World's counterbalances.)

Also, it'd look weird because "walls" in this game are already way closer to the ground graphically than the character sprites. Even if you use some prrspective tricks to make walls look higher up than they are, it'd look even worse than it does now if the sprites were rotated 90 degrees. Half of the kart would be driving on air.

That being said, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how people work around this for Mario Kart World retro tracks. I've got my own ideas but man do they not seem worth it. Especially since I have yet to make a single "good" track.

All the SNES courses are the worst.

Excuse me? The GBA tracks are JUST as boring as SNES. I'd say 64 are pretty boring too, & those 3 are okay, they came out on crappy hardware, they did the best they could. But cut SNES some slack, 64 & Super Circuit were still trash. Heck the first 2 cups in Double Dash & DS sucked as well. Wii was a little better, & 7 was a little better than that, & 8 was a little worse than that(the first two cups for all of these games, but the first 3 games are all equally boring.

Yoshi Falls always lags too much for me, I always loose when it gets picked online.
I don't think any of the others are bad, & even then, Yoshi Falls is just a skill issue too so...

Sounds great in theory but then you just overbloat the site with tracks. Also, what's to stop me from uploading the same course and deleting it repeatedly to farm messages?

What happens if I delete the course for real? Does the message it let me send get deleted too?

Disney did not make that movie I'm afraid. Also where is the Goomba. Say what you will about Chicken Jockey being cringe but it was actually there.

If Disney did make Nintendo, we'd only be getting 5 half assed series that are all Xenoblade but way worse(Frozen & all it's adjacents) + Zelda but they've clearly run out of ideas(Star Wars). Mario would literally stop getting games.

Welp, that's your opinion. I'm telling you, I literally grew up with the thing, and I can't think of a single reason worth owning it in 2025.

Galaxy 2 & Prime 3 are great, but not enough to justify the entire console.

3DS, on the other hand? Now that's something you might be missing out on. Definitely download Lime3DS if you haven't got a 3DS.

I'm being 100% with you, y'all really have not missed anything by not hving a Wii. 3DS is the only console in the last 20 years that has anything that sucks to miss, and Switch 2 is probably going to fix that anyway.

Off the internet. Which is illegal, but nobody has ever cared about that bit. The argument of "game preservation" falls apart when all anyone is doing is downloading ROMs fro the web.

Also as a heads up Wii ROMs are really big (Xenoblade was 11GB back when I used Dolphin) so you won't be able to have that many at once if storage is a problem.

1: you don't need it to look like a Wii Menu
2: Look up what an emulator is. What would the point of it be if it didn't play Wii games? (Not that the Wii has any games left worth playing on it. I did miss Galaxy 2 earlier.)

As someone who grew up with it, you have missed literally nothing.

90% of the games were shovelware, the few games worth playing are either in Switch(RtDl, XBC1 etc.)or made irrelevant by a better version on Switch (Smash Ultimate over Brawl)

It's literally just Metroid Prime 3 atp.

Also if you are interested in Wii just download Dolphin, tjat way you don't need to own one.
