I have one idea.
Being a real Mario Kart game, not a horrendous business machine with absolutely zero shadow of care anywhere in the game.

But it's a mobile game. It's supposed to last, not be good. Also saying there is no care about anything in the game is wrong. The OST & good representation of the city tracks & their landmarks, the RMX, R & T variants to keep things interesting, the fact that the game is 2x better than at launch when they could have left it, it's impossible to say that they didn't take any care while making it. Again, mobile games need to last, & it is still good enough warrant it not really needing any big improvements.

Shroom Ridge, the Booster Course Pass version already uses Tour's artstyle, so it would fit right in
