J'ai décidé, dans ce topic, de prendre quelque chose à propos de l'univers de Mario (et il y aura quelques exceptions) et de citer tous ses défauts. Ne me demandez pas pourquoi ^^ En revanche à la fin du pavé je dirai mon vrai avis, l'avis objectif :) Ma cible principale sera tout ce qui est overhypé et trop surestimé.

Là, j'ai eu l'impression de ne lire que des "gap fillers". Le paragraphe entier de Lisa c'est ça pour le coup ? Des mots qu'on choisit au hasard parce qu'ils riment ?

Ah et après un autre paragraphe de Lisa rempli de gap fillers, puis Rosé, puis une autre phrase explicite de Selena, et puis revoici Jennie qui se voit obligée de lire les délires de l'auteur qui n'était pas sur Terre aujourd'hui, car il a copié-collé une phrase "Ice cream chillin chillin" plusieurs fois... Après ça on retrouve Selena et Jisoo chante enfin quelque chose... C'est bien c'est l'aînée, elle va pouvoir rattraper tout ça...

'Vais pas mentir mais ça fait quand même 352 lettres dans une chanson, qui sont gap fillers (si on ne compte que cette partie-là :()
Bref, des paroles pour la fin qui sont des la la la, des répétitions, des implicites etc. Un bordel lyrique.

Et puis on s'en serait passés du son "réaliste" de camion de glaces. ça casse les oreilles.

Objectivement : j'aime cette chanson, c'est une chanson pop de l'été plutôt sympa, mais je vois plus des gens danser dessus en mode délire que des gens réfléchir à la vraie signification de la chanson ou à quoi que ce soit ? Ice Cream est un tube agréable toute l'année mais surtout en mai, juin, juillet, août et septembre et c'est un hit du type "beat-based" où les paroles sont un peu choisies au hasard et où c'est plutôt le flow et le beat qui comptent.

DS Flipper Waluigi n'est pas un bon circuit pour moi. Soyons honnêtes.
Le début est un canon qui vous propulse dans le vrai flipper. Vous êtes plutôt excités, hein ? Bah bien sûr. Ensuite, un virage, et après ce virage, vous vous attendez à une épopée excitante à travers un flipper rempli de vie...
Et puis non en fait.
Le reste de la piste c'est des virages. Merci Nintendo ! :D
Oui, des virages.
Des virages inutiles, serrés, tout un parcours jusqu'au flipper... Et le flipper est un peu ennuyeux. Vous devez éviter les bumpers et les boules de flipper, plus quelques obstacles. C'est bien, c'est suffisant. Mais pourquoi ne pas ajouter des tonnes de raccourcis, stratégies, systèmes ! Si vous ne vous posez pas de question vous pouvez presque le traverser en ligne droite.
Oui ça date de 2005. Ok. Sûrement. Mais ça n'excuse pas grand chose... De plus, ce qui m'énerve VRAIMENT, c'est la hype autour de ce circuit. Comme tout le monde vénère cet abruti de Waluigi et les flippers en général, c'est super hypé... Alors que tant d'autres circuits sont meilleurs dans le même jeu.

Objectivement : Un circuit très moyen, rempli de trop de tours et très peu de l'essentiel. Pourquoi ce parcours n'est pas directement dans le flipper ? La partie flipper devrait être un peu plus virageuse et excitante, de toute façon. La hype le rend mauvais. Flipper Waluigi devient fier de quelque chose qu'il n'est pas...

To me, every stadium (i'm unsure about the n64 one ofc) is better than WP

I’m going to split this up into 3 sections, One for each lap
Lap 1

This is a very bland lap and the only colors you should expect to see are white, light grey and blue; and a bit of yellow and red. The layout isn’t exiting either, since it’s just a weird W

Lap 2

It starts in a cave, which is just a darkened version of lap 1. The online ter eating things are the rocks and the river. The exit of the cave actually had a slightly interesting aesthetic... but it is the shortest part of the track (almost)you then go down a random water flow area which suddenly has higher water level then the river. You then get another slightly interesting aesthetic which is shorter than the last. Ethereal is then a split path but you might as well take the middle, even without a mushroom. The final section of the lap actually gains color, being brown and green (for the trees)

Lap 3

Lap 1 with a different layout but no yellow until the end, which is also where the blue is. It has boring looks and a boring layout of repetitive and random turns. It then ends with mandatory boost hill which is just a boring straight line that is only interesting when trying to dodge boosts. There is only a tiny turn after the hill which has a shortcut in it


Overall:
It’s boring to look at and boring to play, and all the most boring parts are saved for a whole lap yet the good parts are all piled up into lap 2

Fair enough, i can understand. But the DETAIL saves it all. Mount Wario is just GRAND.

I don't get the "boring to look at", why are you looking it's a race. Also ofc it's "boring to play" it' Mariokart 8, it's supposed to be simple.

I don't get the "boring to look at", why are you looking it's a race. Also ofc it's "boring to play" it' Mariokart 8, it's supposed to be simple.

Most tracks are fun to play but this is just a strangely deformed semi-circle. Also I don’t like bad looking tracks. I want the track I play to be aesthetically pleasing, where mount wario is a bit below ok

Personally that was the biggest problem. It may be grand, but it is also bland

To me this is not... It is pretty exciting, but the first section especially is bland. It is GRAND but it is BLAND. The last section is very good tbh. It's full of life.

By action, you mean like 100 jumps, enemies, boosts & pits to fall into? Must be nice to enjoy those things.
Also what aesthetic/decoration would you want Mount Wario to have to make it good?

That should be simple. It’s an N64 track. They all suck. Being my favourite N64 track isn’t an accomplishment. It is only based on originality, which only kalimari desert has with the trains. But I’d rather play a combination of kalimaru desert 1 and 2 which is how I hope it is done in the booster course pass. Also where is the train going? It is going in a random circle without picking anyone up

But I’d rather play a combination of kalimaru desert 1 and 2 which is how I hope it is done in the booster course pass. Also where is the train going? Why bother asking? Literally no one goes anywhere on any of the city tracks & they're doing it independently. A better question would be who the hell installed the train track or how much money is the guy driving the train & the people driving the cars on city courses being paid to be hazards?

Edit: Anyway this topic isn't really for me because anything official is from Nintendo & I eat it up anyway, I personally prefer empty tracks with no hazards like the N64 ones over tracks with hazards that don't do anything because then it feels even more boring(eg Coconut Mall)

If kalimari desert gets a proper remake, they should add a train station and a town in the mountain in the middle. And mabye even let you drive on the cliff of the mountain for a moment instead of lots of sand being EVERYWHERE

I mean, it's a desert, of course it's just sand.
And the first offroad glider is technically on the edge of the mountain.
Maybe I'm just thinking to small, you guys probably know more about the tracks than me anyway, so you probably have lots of ways to make them better that seem crazy to me bc I'm a "blind fan". Sorry.
