On a more serious note, I don't understand why everyone seems to like Shroom Ridge so much. Toad's Turnpike, Moonview Highway and Mushroom City are all much better traffic tracks imo and the music also isn't anything special, especially compared to the other 4 traffic tracks. Personally I would have preferred Mushroom Bridge to come in Wave 1 instead and imo the layout just isn't as good as the others even with the best shortcuts, and even the shortcuts are only in the 8DX version and not the DS version

Making an item is incredibly unrealistic because there's no good way you could implement those items. It's not like they're a feature of a track like decor or a background. Anyway, there's no real way to make that work either and there will be no new items, since implementing something like that would fuck up the game's balance even if it's minor. There are better things to spend time on when developing this game takes so much effort anyway.

3DS Toad Circuit by a mile. Out of all the tracks in the Booster course, why did Nintendo bring back this one? I don't hate the course but it's so unnecessary to bring it back.
I'll tell you why, because it knocks a filler track out of the way for future games' retros. 8 isn't the only Mario Kart game 💀
