The main focus of this topic is to simply discuss what are the must have themes on a Mario Kart game, that are not only MC, BC & RR.
Make a list of 16 themes you would find ideal for a new roll of nitros to have, and here in one week I'll make a poll with every answer, so a general census may form. I'll maybe even make an entire new project just using the 16 most voted themes.
You can just put something like "desert Track", but please, if you put a character name, do a little bit more information instead of only, for example, "DK Track".

Something I've seen quite recently are users using a word or expression wrong, forum kid for example, so this topic was made as a way to clarify and discuss what's the true meaning of those words/expressions.
To start things of: what's a forum kid? (Here I'll put some explanations given by other people)

This topic seems forgotten, since no one responds and there are no new challenges. I will put one enemy here, i actually forgot i still had this:
It was not forgotten, the thing that "blocked" me from doing a second challenge was triple posting, but anyways, you won I guess, tell me what you want me to draw in PMs and I'll do it.

Challenge 1: Make a fusion between enemies from the Super Mario franchise for "Pink Sky"
Welcome to the first challenge of WDC. As you maybe saw on the first comment, one of the few (two) examples I gave of challenges is actually going to be this one, make a fusion between two Mario enemies for a place I drew, this place being "Pink Sky" (placeholder name).
Pink sky is (let's say) a level/world/kingdom/galaxy/whatever in the sky, but the clouds are pink, kinda like cotton candy, and there there's also some little structures that look like houses, being those white, there are some more white things and in all of them you can see the colors red/blue/green/yellow (in that order), being a reference to the blocks in most of the Tracks from SMK and MKSC.
The rules for the fusion:
> Must be made from two (2) Super Mario enemies.
> The enemies allowed are from mainline and spin-off games, the only exception is for enemies appearing for crossover purposes (like any Zelda enemy that appears in Hyrule Circuit).
> You must send the image of the drawing here (whithout quoting this message), you also need to put the names of the two enemies you fused together.
> The fusion MUST make sense with the place requested, in this case, pink sky

So, I lost creativity to do new Tracks and the last one that went well was a custom QM (Quick Mode if you don't know) piece Track.

It really depends if I have time and if I'm wanting to do it. The next one, Santa Claus village, also uses more complicated tiles so it will take more time to finish than simpler ones. A simple one is normally 1 day to make, I just take more time than that because I'm making something else, oh, and I'll probably make more of them this month

It really depends if I have time and if I'm wanting to do it. The next one, Santa Claus village, also uses more complicated tiles so it will take more time to finish than simpler ones. Bad news people, today I went to paint to make the next tileset, but for some reason paint turned into a piece of s**t because of an update and now the size of everything seems a confuse mess (for example, a cube that should be 10px² it's now considered a cube of 11px²).
So, until paint updates to fix it, or until I find a painting program that I can do most of the same things paint did one week ago, I'll be unable to make new tilesets.
I'm actually thinking on using pixilart, I'll see how it goes...
Edit: after better checking in paint, I actually found the error this time and now found a way to still use it, I'm making burning volcano right now!
So, until paint updates to fix it, or until I find a painting program that I can do most of the same things paint did one week ago, I'll be unable to make new tilesets.
I'm actually thinking on using pixilart, I'll see how it goes...

First of all, sorry for not making some Tracks yet, I've been doing things on my personal life, oh and my school year started.
Secondly, I'll make the rest (but probably not everything) from tomorrow to sunday, so you'll probably see more of this topic this week.
The order I'll make them (for now): burning volcano, Santa Claus village, goopy island and then, finally, IceCap
Oh, and if someone wants to send more Tracks, feel free to do it, I'm opening the submissions for one more week
