I’ve started rereading The Lord of the Rings. Right now I am on the final book in the trilogy, The Return of the King.
I kinda gave up, I just thought it was going a bit slow at parts, but then again, its Fellowship of the Ring, it is slow.

I don't know. Man, I got on some Discord, and they are way much more violent that this website. Except some dramas and immature persons like me, there is a big NOTHING ! I mean, the problems, you can report them and wait. Also yes censore is kinda stupid considering that somr admins are swearing sometimes on Discord, everyone swear, I mean you can understand it at least. Swearing or bad words isn't bad. It's if you repeat them endlessly, but seriously. In the 2022 MKPC, there is not much swearing and surprisingly there was more before : princesslucky Era, landon Era, etc. Remember : everyone is swearing. And it would be stupid to have the censore. Why go through effort ? The only thing we should do is a censore for the two n words, the p word (considering the Ukraine War) and the two f words.

I agree, everything was worse in the past, I remember the swears. And because of the new "norm" of social media nowadays of saying very weird and inappropriate words, it is right to censor the words you have listed.

In terms of updates, I can say and wish that coins would be added to slightly increase the kart’s top speed.
Probably like a coin adds 0.01 to your speed, so by having maximum coins you move 10% faster.

Okay. Personally i don't think Hammer Bro is OP, he has terrible stats overall (very bad handling, very bad acceleration, meh speed and meh weight)

No way, bro. Mario Kart Wii is a masterpiece.
That's a really good game yup, but it has its flaws, like the horrible controls, some bland retro tracks, and the overbugged races. I'm tired of seeing insane shortcuts in TAS.
That's honestly the most interesting thing about the game though, gameplay wise. The shortcuts done are signs of a dedicated community who want to push a game to its limits, and if stuff like this is possible, then I'm all for it. But take those away, and what's left? The gameplay is far less appealing to me, and it's a game left carried by its admittedly well-aged visuals and good tracks. But I'm someone who prefers the actual meat of a game, not the plate, and I see a dull game with poor balancing and jank everywhere

Nah, not really, I always enjoy seeing new discoveries on tracks. And yeah I can't exactly deny that the game's only alive because of CTGP, but that furthers my point. What would've happened if it didn't exist? The game wouldn't be as overrated as it is now
Wii is overrated ? Nah. Ds is overrated, mk64 is overrated and FNF is overrated

Yeah but Wii has its flaws, and I still think that's an enjoyable game. Overrated doesn't mean loved. It means too loved for something that he isn't. MKDS is 100k worse than Wii and he receive the equal love that we give to Wii, or even more While Wii can receive some hate. Plus Wii deserve the love
he receive as a good game, MKDS receive a lot of love while being one of the worst.
I'm guessing its seen as "perfect", because of the number of glitches in it. I don't know what I'm doing in this conversation, but still, maybe this is why its got tremendous love from people.

I guess I can see why ppl would hate MKWii, but I still think it is the best in the series only because other games had some worse problem.

The Nitro Tracks are nearly flawless, the Retro Tracks are a little on the meh side. And earlier someone said the tracks are W I D E but I got no problem with that lol

I certainly don't think any kart from Mario Kart DS onwards has any major flaw from a casual standpoint. By then, Nintendo moved away from their sometimes hard to grasp controls to a stiffer and easier controlling scheme, so those games your average Joe could pick up and play with little to no adjustment. For me at least though, again it's a matter of technicality and lasting, and MKW is the first game where I could see myself getting legitimately bored at the top level.
Controls I don't have much feeling on but I feel the stiffness of the drifting is a bit odd. Other than that it's completely passable.
There is a diverse range of controllers. Yes, the nunchuk and Wii remote is awkward, but you can get a Wii Classic Controller, like a PS4 controller to play, or even a GameCube controller.
I think the reason why people think the game isn't that good, is because Nintendo just changed the way we play their games, the Wii is literally just a prototype for motion controls. And also the reason why the game looks bad is because the Wii is slim and can't do very powerful things.

As far as I know, while the Wii does use a primitive version of Bluetooth, I don't think it supports a PS4 controller.
As for being the prototype for motion controls, Sony's Eyetoy released in October 2003. Not nearly as well known as the Wii, seeing as it was an add-on for the Playstation 2 as opposed to being its own thing.
No doubt I love the Wii, but it's moreso for the titles that came out for it than the niche of motion controls itself, which I see mostly as a gimmick.

I don't have an issue with the motion controls. In fact, I think they're pretty decent. I just think the controls themselves are the issue. Besides, if I even would switch to a Wii pro controller or a Gamecube controller, I still wouldn't really enjoy the game because of the item nonsense. It just doesn't seem like a fun game to me.
The items are pretty unbalanced, I watch TWD98 and he always gets comboed after a blue shell and then red shelled
