Excited for Wave 2?

There's a livestream of Wave 2 happening RIGHT NOW.

I have MK8D, but not the Booster Course Pass

I just watched Nathaniel Bandy play the new tracks, and here on my thoughts.
All of these look like they could fit in the base game. Like I said before, a lot better than Wave 1.
That sax on Sydney Sprint. Smaller range, but at the same time, more energetic.
MUSHROOM GORGE, BABY! Growing up with the Wii version, I love how they've kept the track almost the same in every entry, since it's pretty much perfect.
Sky High Sundae is one of the best Mario Kart songs of all time.

Here are my wave 2 rankings based on my races with @tendokiddo:
8th: Mario Circuit 3. Too flat
7th: Waluigi Pinball. Pinballs take up 90% of the track
6th: Sky High Sundae. I was expecting a lot more than what we got.
5th: Mushroom Gorge. It’s quite fun, but the top 4 are just better. Also the gap cut is possible
4th: Kalimari Desert. Just as I predicted. I was surprised by seeing that there was an entire platform exclusive to lap 3
3rd: New York Minute. I really liked the layout but it barely missed out on 2nd place
2nd: Snow Land. It was a really fun track. It is better than mount wario
1st: Sydney Sprint. Amazing layout. I love that lap 2 makes you end the lap going the other way, and how lap 1 makes the train section harder

Will MK8 work online with MK8 Deluxe or are their online modes separate

They are seperate, since it wouldn’t make sense for BCP tracks on Wii U when it doesn’t exist in that console

Just buy a Switch, the days of WiiU updates are long gone.

You can't want to play the courses & then not buy the game lol, you need both.
