Well everything is in the title.
1) Waluigi Pinball is very overrated and I prefer Yoshi Falls over it.
2) Waluigi himself is way too overrated
3) MK64... Aish, I guess I don't hate it as much as before, but I still strongly hate it
4) The BCP is sorta great
5) From Double Dash to DX, the speedway/classic circuits are often underrated. Luigi Circuit GCN is such a great track concept, DS Figure 8 Circuit is way better than how it gets treated, DS Mario Circuit is the best Mario Circuit and it's very interesting, Wii Mario Circuit is okay, and honestly 3DS' is not so great. LF you wouldn't pass in the castle, that would be a bad track. As for WiiU one, well it's pretty good.
6) The R variants in MKT are just filmer tracks, but the T variants are a very good concept and it should be used in more MK (with moderation)

I disagree about Waluigi Pinball being better than Yoshi Falls, but I can see why you'd find it overrated. Once you get to the actual pinball section the rest of the track is just driving straight and the alternate paths on both sides are never used.
Yoshi Falls is overhated and I find it to be the most competitive track in the game, probably because it's short, but it's still one of the worst tracks in the game. When I play DS Bowser Castle or Rainbow Road I usually win, but on Yoshi Falls, I don't know where I'll place because the track isn't long enough for me to catch up if I'm in a lower rank.

3.. 2.. 1.. My opinions are far more controversial than yours
1. Mario Kart 7, 8, and 8 Deluxe are absolute garbage. They lost the essence of what made Mario Kart Mario Kart. The items are now controlled
2. Super Mario Kart is underrated. All the special items are just banana variants, and the AI isn't that bad at all
3. I actually like Mario Kart 64's rubber banding. In this game, two naughty racers give you a tough time while the other 5 are slow as heck
4. I actually like the Thundercloud because I can just pass it to someone else and ignore the thing in the first place. Though I agree, it's poorly executed
5. The Mega Mushroom, Super Horn, Tanooki Tail, and Piranha Plant are all useless items, when the Star and Mushroom 's purpose was that.
6. I find the Bullet Bill bad. It is very controversial, but it's just a star but a bigger hit box and more time.
7. I absolutely hate Maple Treeway. The turns are too sharp to be enjoyable and that ruins the track
8. I believe 3DS Rainbow Road is just as bad as WiiU Rainbow Road. Like I said earlier, they aren't pure.
9. I don't find the Vanilla blocks in Vanilla lakes a hindarence at all. I actually like them because they make the track more fun, like it gives you a sense of accomplishment if you don't hit one of them
10. Funky Kong is the worst heavyweight character in Mario Kart Wii. Nintendo needed a filler character and y'all obsessed with him because of the speed stat
11. I love Luigi Circuit. Like if it's so bad, it's done in like a minute, and the end is the best section
12. I believe Mushroom Gorge, Koopa Troopa Beach, DS Bowser's Castle, Mushroom City, Yoshi Valley and Ice Ice Outpost to be the best tracks. There is lots of risk and reward going on in these tracks, and lots of decision making, along with tough shortcuts(except the mobile floor with the lava in Bowser's Castle; that's easy), that made you feel a sense of satisfaction when you beat the AI.
13. The only good rainbow road is the Super Circuit one, because in my opinion, a good track is a good track if it contains tons of decision making. All the other rainbow roads force you to take the same path over and over again. Bruhh..

Okay, so my unpopular opinions on the series might be considered a little bit on the controversial side. Ready? Here we go.
1. Mario Kart Tour is just atrocious. It kinda ruined the whole purpose of Mario Kart & made everything p2w and fast-paced. I'm hoping that crossover characters like Link and Isabelle don't make it in, but sadly that might be the case giving how Nintendo wants to continue to update Tour.
2. I sorta don't like how they changed GBA Ribbon Road's music in MK8. I always liked the music in the original better, & I think it's kinda dumb how they lowered the pitch and went with a more surf/rock sounding style in the remake. With that being said, there have been fixed remixes on YouTube that sound way more like the original song.
3. The Mario Kart arcade games are bad. Namco, I understand that you wanted to make a Mario Kart with Pac-Man characters and the Boss Galaga from Galaga as an item, but it doesn't mean you had to add a commentator and items that aren't canon to the actual series.
Whelp, that about wraps things up. Please keep in mind that these opinions are personal and aren't intended to offend anyone.

My unpopular opinions:
1. Waluigi Pinball is bad. It's conceptually good but executed horribly (aside from the first 10 seconds). Half of the track is full of random turns with guard rails (the same kind children use for bowling so the ball doesn't go down the gutter, so ig this track is for children) and there's no challenge or shortcut opportunities. The ending section is like racing lawnmowers since it's just so slow and open. You also have to pray that rng doesn't mean a pinball hits you from behind. I don't get how people call this the best Mariokart track.
2. SNES MC3 was a good addition to the MK8DX BCP. Given that there were only 2 SNES courses in the main game, it would seem obvious that Nintendo would add another 1 or 2 new SNES courses in the expansion. I know a lot of people complain about this track, but I think we dodged a massive bullet since this is one of the better tracks. We obviously aren't getting another Donut Plains or any Bowser Castle, the Choco Islands and Vanilla Lakes are bland, and the 2 Ghost Valleys that have been made so far are too basic (so obviously Mario Circuit would be a choice). Whilst I think MC2 would be a bit more interesting, the other 2 tracks in this cup are also retros in MK7, and one of them is in the same cup as MC2, so it wouldn't have been a good idea unless the other tracks were changed.
3. Cloudtop Cruise isn't a bad track, I just think its uninteresting for the most part (since half the track doesn't really have anything) and generally quite forgettable. I can say the same for most of the MK8 tracks, and even MK7 (so ig the newer nitro tracks have just declined in quality since Wii).
4. I don't mind the BCP's plastic aesthetics tbh. I always think gameplay is better than deco, and the BCP's gameplay is pretty good. Sure, the mountains and rocks look bad, but it doesn't make the track less fun.
5. Staying with the BCP, but I'm glad Nintendo didn't implement anti-gravity on the tracks (except Sky High Sundae, but that doesn't even need it). When you go in all sorts of directions it takes away from enjoying the environment, which is why MK8 nitros were forgettable for me. The only track that utilised anti-gravity perfectly was Shy Guy Falls, the rest either didn't need it or took away from the aesthetic.
6. I like tilt controls. They're more fun. Cope.
7. SNES Rainbow Road is not the best SMK track. Just because it has a unique theme doesn't mean it's any better.
8. Wii Daisy Circuit is far from a bad track. It may be the worst in Star Cup, but that's only because the rest are bangers.
9. N64 Wario Stadium doesn't need a remake. Just because it's the last N64 track yet to be remade doesn't mean it should be. It's really long, boring and forgettable.
10. Why is that Birdo sign in GCN Yoshi Circuit right on Yoshi's butt? Good job Nintendo.
11. The new version of GBA Sky Garden isn't a bad track, it's just a terrible remake of the original. I won't explain why it's bad since I'm sure it's obvious, but I don't think the track itself is boring. It's still sub-par, but doesn't deserve the amount of hate it gets.
12. Why do 5 people have fursuits in Tour? Some even have multiple. Not to mention there is also Meowser. (furry takeover)
I'm sure I have more, but 12 is enough for now.

I really have unpopular opinions on each Mario Kart game. Starting from the original, they are:
- Super Mario Kart is actually my 2nd favorite Mario Kart. I love tracks like Vanilla Lake and Ghost Valley, even though everyone I know irl hates them
- Mario Kart 64 is overrated. Sure, it was the first 3D Mario Kart, but it completely RUINED Super Circuit. Also, whose idea was it to replace Koopa Troopa with Wario? Honestly I would have saved Wario's debut for Double Dash when Waluigi also made his debut.
- Mario Kart Super Circuit is WAY too underrated. Sure, it was a step down from 3D, but it was still LOADS of fun. It's my 3rd favorite Mario Kart as well simply because of the gameplay and tracks.
- Mario Kart Double Dash was overrated. In fact, there are only a few tracks I like, those being Daisy Cruise, DK Mountain, Bowser's Castle, Wario Colosseum, Waluigi Stadium and Rainbow Road. But if I'm honest, that's not so much because of the gameplay, but more because I liked the music.
- Mario Kart DS was WAY too underrated. Most only like it because of Waluigi Pinball, but I also like the more forgotten tracks like Yoshi Falls, Bowser's Castle and Mario Circuit.
- Mario Kart Wii didn't get nearly as much love as it deserved. It allowed compatibility with Super Mario Galaxy, Rosalina, Dry Bones and Funky Kong were just OP, the Rainbow Road was one of the best, you could perform godlike shortcuts, DESTROY Grumble Volcano, and it even made you feel like you were underage driving with the Wii Wheel and Moonview Highway. So it's no surprise that it's my favorite Mario Kart. Galaxy Colosseum was sick af, and the theme was a HUGE BANGER.
- Mario Kart 7 was basically the WORST Mario Kart. However, there is one thing most would consider out of the norm, and that is Wiggler. He was my MK7 main, and alongside the Honey Queen, R.O.B., and Petey Piranha, I find it extremely painful that he didn't really make a return.
- Mario Kart 8 was one of my least favorite Mario Karts. And surprisingly, it's not due to the debut of Pink Gold Peach. It's the amount of filler characters and non-Mario characters. Surely Link wouldn't even know what go-karting is, I mean he's from, like, 1000 years ago, Nintendo!
- Mario Kart Tour... just... no.
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was epic unlike its Wii U predecessor. Sure, it shared the same problem, but the Inklings were the only good non-Mario characters. Also, the DLC was sick af. Ninja Hideaway was cool to drive in (eat my shorts, Mario Kart Tour!), the remasters were beautiful, it's my 4th favorite Mario Kart, thanks Nintendo.

I still have a few :
- SNES Rainbow Road is clearly not the best track in SNES, aside form having an unique theme.
- MK64... yeah. I don't "hate" it anymore, but there's still some points where I'm annoyed. I still dislike some of the soundtracks,
I also hate Moo Moo Farm (a lazy circle with some measly moles, some psychocows, and some bridges and a farm in the background). Toad's Turnpike is just too long and too hard, ESPECIALLY FOR THE FLOWER CUP. Kalimari Desert is still a boring and long track, Choco Mountain is still super cramped and bugged from everywhere, Wario Stadium is fun but TOO LONG AND REPETITIVE, Sherbet Land's ice is not good and the track overall while being a good concept is far from being good (long, slippery,
annoying) and I still despise Bowser's Castle music, even though it fits the track. I also think DK's Jungle Parkway needs a MK8 remake in the BCP, even if we know it won't happen. Yoshi Valley's concept is praised and its good, but the gameplay.... yeah. If you fall off that's a long ass punishment, some parts are very thin, the placement counter is a mess... Banshee Boardwalk is cramped and tight, while Rainbow Road is TOO LONG, even if the music and the fireworks are good. So yeah. MK64 is overrated, but it's not as trashy as I used to say. Mario Raceway is a very good track and could compete for the best of MK64, fight me.
- Mario Kart : Super Circut had interesting themings but with limitations, so if I had to rank every MK, it would probably fall flatly in the middle.
- Mario Kart Double Dash is very good but the gameplay overall is slippery asf.
- Mario Kart DS is not a really good game, it has some good nitro tracks but the retro tracks are just incredibly bland, I like Yoshi Falls lol, Waluigi Pinball is not good and I explained why before, it's super overrated as well, while the themings were creative.
- Mario Kart Wii is a very good game but it's very bugged. Some of the retros are cool, some aren't.
- Mario Kart 7 is super great, the gameplay is super fun and the nitro tracks are BANGERS with two nex mechanics, but also the retro selection is pretty good. Also the Wuhu tracks and the Rainbow Road track are GOD TIER.
- Mario Kart 8 is good, MK8DX is INCREDIBLE, can't understand the hate its getting, it has way more to offer than every other game.
- Mario Kart Tour is a cashgrab and it could have been acceptable without the crash grab part.
- SNES Rainbow Road is clearly not the best track in SNES, aside form having an unique theme.

My opinions on EVERY SINGLE Mario Kart!
1. SNES
It was a good Mario Kart for it's time, instead of usually 1 map and 1 cup NES racers, it had 8 maps and 4 cups, and (although executed poorly) had items! This is why it got hyped.
2. N64
Going from SNES to N64 was so different, now every map was unique, and the items and CPUs were even more fun to play around with.
3. GBA
For the first handheld Mario Kart, this is the 2000s dialect of SNES and it had 20 maps! WOW! and had all the SNES tracks! WOW! Yeah, it was also great for it's time(honestly the old Mario Kart's were better, fight me)
4. GCN
Now we have two people racing together, the best character roster and snaking. This game was broken and poorly executed for it's time, along with the Gamecube being the "failed" Nintendo console, Double Dash didn't sell well. If it was a Wii game, it would be as excessively hyped as Wii
5. Arcade
The arcade games had mission mode, but they only had 6 maps, and for an arcade game, that was fine. But the later arcade games became more and more annoying(practically I had to mute the machine) I just gave up :/.
6. DS
The one that started the modern Mario Karts! Now Battle Mode is peak enjoyment(8 Deluxe also had a good Battle Mode), and the Kart stats made a difference! Though retro tracks were poorly executed, as the Double Dash charm was lost, and the entertaining(but annoying) CPUs are weak as hell, so the boring tracks we thought as fun in the 90s are now boring. Where's the action? The nitro tracks, they were ... interesting(figure 8 circuit, i am speaking sarcasm. This game was the only game to contain the worst track of all time. It was NES racers bad). Most Nitro tracks are enjoyable/underrated(e.g. Desert Hills, Bowser's Castle), whereas a few bad apples(e.g. The circuit tracks) not so much. Mission mode was also a gamebreaker sadly only appearing in this Mario Kart. Though this game gets respect, as this is Bandy's favorite Mario Kart, and we can see why.
Wii
My favorite Mario Kart, all the Mario Karts after this is mediocre tbh.
This Mario kart fixed their retro tracks(except DK mountain, but it isn't that horrible, right? ) and the nitro tracks were all BANGERS it was hard to pick out a bad track(even the SNES track were enjoyable). The battle mode was fun as well. The controls were a bit funny(tricking with the d-pad? why not the drift button like in modern mario karts?), and it took hard work to unlock everything, and you even had to do good in time trials as well(unlike the previous Mario Kart's where only the GP's matter). The items were also good. I won't talk about CTGP as this game is enjoyable without CTGP (sorry Troy and NuoKart/Mayro)
3DS
This game is garbage! The character roster was stupid(they scrapped out toadette, dry bones, king boo, bowser jr, especially waluigi!) and like the other 3DS games, this one was also a downgrade to previous mario karts. No bikes, the Wii tracks lost their charm(especially Koopa Cape and Mushroom Gorge -_- ), the battle mode got down graded, and no VS mode. What were they attempting? Super Mario Kart for the 2010s? *facepalm*
WiiU/Switch
They are the same game, no cap. The character roster is mediocre, the bikes are back, and now there is so many tracks it gives me a headache what to play. The battle mode was nonexistent in the WiiU, it was the only good thing in the Switch. and BCP is honestly importing Mario Kart Tour tracks in the Switch. I'm not paying for that bull crap, when I can pull out my iPhone and play the same tracks on my phone.
Home Circuit
It was an interesting concept! I actually liked it. Since I had a bunch of unused legos, now time to use them! Though why is Moo Moo Meadows and Koopalings always there? O_O
Tour
And the biggest female dog of them all! This was Mario Kart 7 but even more downgraded, and was Super Mario Kart of the phone, just messed up. like fu**
Welp, sorry for swearing, I don't wanna get banned for expressing my opinions, but here you go
1. SNES
It was a good Mario Kart for it's time, instead of usually 1 map and 1 cup NES racers, it had 8 maps and 4 cups, and (although executed poorly) had items! This is why it got hyped.
2. N64

SNES
Extremely hard. The only track I can even complete a lap without messing up on is RR, and the rest of the time I’m just hoping for good items, and occasionally do well
N64
Choco mountain sucks N64 Rainbow Road is the worst track EVER. While sure, I may not have played MK64, I have played 3 lap versions on MKPC, and they were boring as hell. Then, there’s the MK8 version, which adds width, but too much. Now it’s easy as hell, instead of boring as hell
GBA
Has one of the best sets of tracks. While I may not have played the original game, playing the tracks on MKPC are really fun, and are the best tracks to play, excluding MK8
GCN
The double character mechanic is lame tbh. Out of all the twists in each MK game, this is one of the worst. Sure, it may have had MK64s 3D twist, but that was an MK64 twist, not an MKDD twist. The twist of 2 players doesn’t really add anything, other than a double item mechanic, which decreases challenge
DS
Waluigi Painball Sucks
Wii
There were much better options than Funky kong, and maybe even Dry Bowser, but he’s a cool character, so he’s fine. As for Funky, I think it would have been better to see Boom Boom, who still isn’t even in Mario Kart (not sure if he’s in tour or not though.) Now imagine everyone using boom boom flame runner
3DS
No opinion
MK8
The battle mode is creative, but should have had more modes. People just hate it for being lazy, which while I understand for the modes, the tracks are quite good (especially Yoshi Valley)
MK8DX
Renegade Roundup is better than racing

I wouldn't consider my opinions unpopular, but here they are anyways.
1. Boo Lake is underrated. I've seen many BCP Wave 3 ranking videos on youtube, and NONE of them gave Boo Lake what it deserved. Bes BCP track yet.
2. DK Pass is annoying in MKPC. I can't tell you how many times I've lost a race on DK Pass just because I couldn't tell where the pitfalls start. Bob-Omb Cup is my least favourite cup because of DK Pass. ok maybe it's just a skill issue
Edit: Just got 2nd in Bob-Omb Cup again

My opinions and stuff:
1. Ninja Hideaway sucks. I prefer Tokyo Blur more.
2. I think that Bone Dry Dunes is fun. The same goes with Ice Ice Outpost.
3. I like Vanilla Lake 1 and 2.
4. I use and like tilt controls.
5. I don't like or love 3DS Rainbow Road.
6. While I do enjoy Mario Kart Tour, I don't like the majority of the R courses. They're mainly boring.
7. I also agree that Waluigi Pinball is not the best track in the world.
8. I'm not a fan of Mushroom Gorges's song. The same goes for DS Bowser's castle.
9. I am not a fan of most of the pink and or yellow-colored karts and gliders found in Mario Kart Tour.
That's all for now I guess.
